You can install stock rom with download mode.

If you want to install a new custom rom then you need to flash dr87 twrp recovery or another one you like.

Bootloader is locked, so you're not installing any custom ROMs vis Download mode.
Find the ROM you want, follow the instructions.

Hello everyone.
I have installed CWM by artas182x for locked BL because somehow I couldn't install fastboot drivers.
However, I can't seem to flash latest official CM because of too old version of CWM.
Now, my question is if it's possible to install latest CWM for our phone which is downloaded from official CWM site in .img form via flashify app on the phone? Is it safe and are there any problems possible to encounter?

don't try to flash CM if your bootloader is locked, you'll 100% brick your phone. If you have a locked bootloader you can install only stock based roms...
I'm using p768 and flashed CW recovery. I'm wondering if there's a way to flash a stock recovery again. I searched the forum but didn't find any stock recoveries.

I don't think there is one... You'd have to either extract it from a stock kdz or flash one. The stock recovery really has no functions.

I figured out that flashing a KDZ automatically restores the stock recovery.
And for those who want their unlocked boot loader to look as if it's locked, usually when using your warranty, you can follow these steps.
You can extract stock recovery.img from KDZ and then flash it via fastboot.

You can't flash a custom recovery / ROM from download mode.
Follow the below guide, boot into the ROM, root it, flash TWRP and then flash the custom ROM.

I'm currently using Pixel experience
I want to go to Stock MiUi Room
Please Tell me how to!!
My phone is a Pocophone not Poco F1(is there any difference?) Global Edition
I'm curious about how you managed to flash a custom ROM but now you don't know how to flash the stock one ???
Follow this guide dude
just download the RECOVERY ROM from
https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/xiaomi-poco-f1-unlock-bootloader-custom-t3839405
and flash it via TWRP !
and you are DONE
wana root?
- after flashing ROM, reboot, signin , settle and then come back in twrp and flash magisk19 and reboot
why?
in my xperience the setup wizard takes forever to signin to google if you flash magisk,, i have no explaination why! but it happens with me many times !
The method described above will lock my boot loader again?

I don't know but flashing via mi flash tool can clean all + lock boot loader , it's an easy process .
For this process all you need is mi flash tool + latest miui build+ universal adb drivers .
it would be best to flash xiaomi.eu rom via twrp. No hassle with bootloader, recovery etc
If you want to go back to stock ROM you have two options. First one is via installing stock ROM from recovery and the second one is via fastboot mode. If you search MIUI firmware on chrome and then you have to open the first site. Then search POCO F1 and you will get the ROMs for recovery and fastboot mode. Then follow the instruction on "Munchy" youtube channel.
To install Stock Rom download the recovery Rom and the latest Magisk.zip
Boot to TWRP click install and select the recovery rom then hit add zip and select magisk.zip and swipe to install.
You are done twrp will remain there along with root.
