You running S5830i/c/m/9i(COOPERVE) or S5830(COOPER)? If running cooperve, you might downloaded wrong CM11.

[Q] Korean Galaxy Player 5.0 Stuck in Boot Loop!!

Hello,
I own a Korean galaxy player 5.0 (16GB) YP-GB70. I previously had a custom rom flashed onto it. But I tried flashing a new rom by following the directions, that is revert back to a stock rom and flash the new rom. But after I flashed the new rom, the device was stuck in boot loop. The recovery and the download screens work however. I tried flashing a stock rom again but it was again stuck in a boot loop. I tried flashing many other roms but none of them worked.
In recovery mode it keeps showing this
-- Appling Multi-CSC...
Successfully applied multi-CSC.

I tried wipe date/factory reset and wipe cache partition but neither helped.
Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance!
hello
what FW did you flash last?
Did you touch at the PIT?
Do you use odin or other tool?
did you wipe "before" flashing? (can be different.)
IF ok you have to check if your memory partitioning has not been modified by a tricky kernel. (adb tools)
courage
Have you checked this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457730
Since your model is a Korean (YP-GB70) the hardware is different from the International (YP-G70).
It appears you know how to flash ROMs via Odin so you will need only a original Froyo or Gingerbread firmware with the file dbdata.rfs and a .pit file to use the re-partition and make your playea as new...

HELP! Cant Flash New Roms! Phone Wont Boot Past HTC Splash Screen

Hey all,
So the other day I went through my SD card and erased about 11GB of stuff I thought that I didnt need. Didnt run into any issues.... until this morning.
I attempted to flash a ROM this morning and halfway through I get this message:
-Formatting NAND with ext4 Alignment...
Installing system files...
E: Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(Status 0)
And then goes back to the install zip menu.
When I try to do a NAND backup I get this error:
E: Failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Cant mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Cant open /cache/recovery/log
E: Failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Cant mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Cant open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
Ive tried wiping my caches, as well as doing factory resets. When I reset my phone it just sits on the HTC splash screen.
So its obvious to me that I foolishly deleted a folder that I need in order to flash new ROMs properly as well as restore previous partitions.
I am S-Off of course

Using Team Win Recovery
Anyone have any tips or workarounds for me that dont involve having to install Linux on my PC?
Try 4ext custom recovery.

Did you make a back-up?
Flash dorimanx through ODIN. Take Kernel_Dorimanx-V9.43-[12-16]-[24-10]-TAR-FOR-ODIN.tar. With this kernel you'll be able to flash CM10 if thing are right.
Folow the necessary steps for flashing CM10.
Error!!

Need help to flash CWM

Hello, I'm trying to flash CWM Recovery in my old s5380i in order to install a custom rom. I have followed all the instruction in Xda thread, but when I go into Android system recovery and choose "Apply update from sdcard" it says:
HTML:
-- Appling Multi-CSC --
E:failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory)
E:Can't mount /sdcard
Install from sdcard complete.
The sdcard works with the phone turned on, but into system recovery it isn't recognized. Can you give me some help?
