Hi Everyone, just a quick question. Will the TF201 accept a 64GB SD Card in both the tablet and the keyboard? Thanks

I was running a 64Gb Samsung Ultra MicroSD in the prime and a SDHC variant in the dock no problem although now and again the Docks SD card would disconnect while it was asleep and wake it, never could work out the reason but it could be my prime + dock.

The Herald supports micro SDHC. Which, theoretically, maxes out at 32gb.
Does it straight-up support SDHC, or does it require some sort of program or reflash?

I've got a 8GB SDHC card.. Works like a dream. Only music is a bit of a problem! but oh well..
8Gb SDHC, no problems, just plugged right in. On the funny side I had to buy a new cardreader for my PC due to the fact that it supported only 4Gb.
How to read MicroSD card on PC?
I have 2GB MicroSD card that comes with the Wing. I can use ActiveSync to transfer files from my PC to the card without problem, but at a very slow speed. For large movie files around 1GB, I thought I could put the MicroSD in the card reader on the PC and copy the file over faster. However, my Win XP insists that the card is not formated or the format is unknown. Do I need any special driver for my PC to be able to read/write to the Wing MicroSD card? Thanks.
I've found the 8gb sdhc cards but cannot find any 16gb or larger cards. Anyone know where I might be able to find them?
Thanks

Card reader BUILT INTO the PC? I've seen a laptop (a few years old) with a built-in reader that was incompatible with the MicroSD+SD adapter. The $10 25 in 1 reader by Targus that I got at Radio Shack works just fine.

I already got gaming controllers xbox 360, ps3 and pc at home, so i wont need another one of those. I will for sure pick up HDMI cable and smart cover or whatever asus will call them. Also thinking of getting the 40pin to usb connector that ASUS makes. A couple other things i left out that are on my wish list that im not quite sure on are... protective screen and extra charging cable.
If anyone disagrees with one of these things, let me know below, i would like to here some opinions. Also if you have any hot items you will picking up to go with your TF201 let me know! Oh sorry for no links, still on my way to 8 posts... when i reach 8 ill come back through and fix them.
Is the dock's SD Card slot an SDXC? If not, there's no point in getting a 64GB SD card.

There's no such thing like a sdxc slot.
Testers haven't found any sdxc cards that didn't work in normal slots.

To utilize the full capacity you buy the firmware has to support SDXC.
Without SDXC support, you can't access beyond 32GB on a card.

SDXC cards are basically SDHC cards formatted to exFat. exFat has to be supported by your OS.
OR just format the card to Fat/Fat32/NTFS. And voilà your done.
There is no need for SDXC support. It's only the DEFAULT filesystem (exFat) which needs to be supported to get the support for files > 4GB. (Fat/Fat32 only support files up to 4GB)
Once again, there is no special requirement for SDXC cards. Only the DEFAULT filesystem may not work. There is no problem in using a 128GB Fat32 card in any device that supports SDHC.
I am using a 64GB SDXC in my TF101 dock with no problems, of course I had to reformat to NTFS and it works perfectly. ExFat was not supported by the software, NTFS was a cake walk....
Anyone know the largest mini/micro size you can get? I want to see if I can order something on Amazon right away....
I get confused with all the different type sizes and types. Like mini and micro are very similar and size, but they both are still made.

micro 32GB from what I understand is the largest the Prime will support.
Don't buy a mini it is a bigger card and doesn't fit.
Micro sdxc cards work as well. I'm using this right now:

I thought SDXC cards were only usable in the keyboard dock and SDHC were used in the tablet itself.

Biggest I have seen was 128gb. Prime Polly won't support that though lol.

Asus licensed NTFS and exFat drivers from Tuxera so >32gb cards should have decent support (in both the dock and tablet).
(source and page 69 of the manual)

I have only seen micro SDXC cards at 64gb and the third post in this thread confirms that it works (probably using exFat).

These work in every Android device I've tried them in providing they are formatting to Fat32 - get my Prime today and be interested to see whether it can take mine with different formatting standards (please! no 4GB file limitation would be nice...).
FWIW I've used mine in the following devices: Galaxy S (Froyo), Galaxy S II (GB, stock), original Transformer, Motorola Razr, Galaxy Note. They've confirmed in many other devices too, which makes me think it'll work in basically all of them.
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone can let me know if the L9 P760 is compatible with a SONY 32GB microSDHC UHS-I memory card. I've looked around but can't find a straight answer. Would like to know before I open the box and realize it isn't for whatever reason!
Thanks in advance!
