Unfortunately while flashing a ROM i encountered an error, one of which has essentially corrupted my EFS folder.
This problem has led to an unknown baseband version and the inability to connect to a mobile network.
My phone is a GT-N7105t Samsung galaxy note 2, due to the problems it is now running stock firmware on Jelly Bean 4.3, my phone is of the Telstra model in Australia and i am using a Telstra Sim.
I have managed to exit factory mode but have made no other progress.
Please help I am in desperate need of it!
I will supply any other necessary information as to achieve functionality again.
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
Thanks in Advance.

Hello everyone,
Firstly, I apologize for my bad english.
so my problem is that : there are two week ago i buy sg3 (i9300) from swiss, and when I got home (Algeria) I realized that I had no network. so i instal a root on the phone, and I used galaxy sim unlocker, voodoo, the ariza patch, regionlock away. no network at all.. . so I understand the problem. xxemg4 modem is intended for the European sim only, then xxemg4 use a new format of efs. so it's impossible to unlock the network for the moment.
So I ask you one thing. xxemg4 modem replaced by another modem supporting efs "v2" ... Algerian for example. would be the solution? whether helped me solve this problem please.
Thank you kindly help me good evening.
No, you cannot unlock the phone yourself. You cannot flash an earlier modem now you have efs v2.
If you flash the right modem for your country the phone might get signal, but it will have to be EMG4 or after at least. Unlocking will still need a code provided by the original swiss mobile network.

Hi
Can any one help me to determine the problem with a GT i9100t.
I have installed stock firmware in an attempt to get it working but no luck.
It will not detect the SIM, has no IMEI and no baseband.
Is there a way to prove if this is a software or hardware issue.
it has JB 4.1.2 installed via this package I9100TDCLSD_I9100TTHLLSD_I9100TDCLSD_HOME.TAR.md5
One thing I have noticed is the hardware is actually a Korean version an SHW M250K. Not sure if this should cause a problem as it had i9100T firmware on it when I got it.
Hi guys, im new user on creating posts lol, im from latin america, so my English its not very good, well, i have a problem with my Galaxy Xcover 2 GT-s7710L, when i flashed the official rom (downloaded from sammobile) from chile, jelly bean 4.1.2 (S7710LUBAND2) i was getting normal results, everything was right, but some days later, my mobile data (only internet) stopped working, so i thought that it was some problem of the rom, so i tried flashing the guatemala rom (S7710LUBAMC2_S7710LTFGAMC1_TGU) and when i go to the phone info, i realize that i have the base band XXXX, but my imei is right, and my mobile service is working, only my mobile data (internet) is not working, and i didnt find any info of how to solve this problem of the baseband, i tried extracting the tar.md5 of the official rom and only flash the modem with odin, and there is no change, if somebody knows something about how to solve this.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I ran a custom rom for a while on my Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 and now I want to restore it back to stock. According to my phone's menu, the baseband version is I9300XXUGNB1 but that version is not te be found on Sammobile firmwares. Can I safely install another rom with another baseband version? For example I9300XXUGNJ? (Netherlands). Or will I risk bricking my phone? To my knowledge the S3 I own isn't uncommon or anything. It's just a carrier- and simlock free phone which I bought at a major electronics retailer at the time.
Thanks in advance.
Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
you can flash all ROMs. But please keep in mind to backup EFS and then flash.
Kind regards
Trafalgar Square
so lets just say.. god forbid, the efs partition got facked at some point.. i may as well consider the phone bricked?
no you should be able to flash stock with odin and start all over (no root) if you didn't backup efs
not sure how its done though
Hello XDA community members,
I have a problem with my freind SIII device. :crying:
the problem is that the phone was suffering of a terrible virus, and he want me to fix it. :good:
i decided to ugrade his 4.1 SIII to android 4.3, and reset. All the things was great. -THE VIRUS WAS DELETED- until i decided to make a phone call, the phone was showing a message that the phone is not rigistered on network.
PLEASE HELP ME.
Go to sammobile and download 4.3 firmware for your country device and flash it using odin this should fix your imei problem
Does the Imei still show a valid number (preferably the original imei), if not you need to recover the efs.
If the imei is still there then the phone maybe recorded stolen and blacklisted.
If you have the btu variant i can provide the 4.3 stock rom and all the software.
