[Q] setcpu draining battery on s duos - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello im using s duos with stock rom. I have installed setcpu but its draining battery even if profiles are disabled. In battery statistics android os and android system consumes more battery. but when i uninstalled this app then i observed that battery performance is better.
is this happening because of stock rom or what?

I know right.
Sent from my SM-N910C using XDA Free mobile app
Some CPU's tend to get very hot while playing games, even the simpler games because they were clocked too high by device manufacturers. Battery drain is 'cause CPU is running on its highest clock possible so it uses most of battery juice.
Clash of Clans runs in background( at least notification process ) so that drains battery in background. To stop it from running in background : root your device(recommended) and install Greenify and then hibernate Clash of Clans. If you dont root your device, you will have to hibernate it manually with shortcut on your launcher app grid.
I am on custom rom and i already have it greenified but the battery drain is while playing the game. Now i am with Ak kernel and i i am using a battery friendly config and its ok but not perfect.

Try L Speed Revolution. It improves performance and battery at the same time, just remember to delete any previous mods and take a nandroid backup.

[Q] Greenify Du speed booster

Hi all, i have one question can i greenify the du battery saver apps because im afraid that it will effect the services because i want a full battery saver please

L Speed mod and M4

Hi,
As many of you know, L Speed is an app that requires root that has a ton of tweaks to increase performance/battery life.
Personally when i tried it (even though i went "light" on most tweaks) I still noticed that my battery life had decreased drasticallly and my phone was heating a lot more than usual.
So I wanted to if anyone else is currently using it and under which tweaks setup.
i use SetCPU (paid) profiles for performance and battery life
I use lspeed but the battery drains with or without it. perofrmance is better however there is nothing I cand do to stop the battery drain.
The battery surprisingly works now really well. even with data connection on.
For better performance only change governor for a little and big cores to ondamend, other option, tweaks in lspeed or kernel adiutor only faster drained battery and increase hoting of CPU, do not change min/max frequency CPU because this increase hoting.
I found much the same; the cpu and kernel tweaks just cause the phone to run hot.
I've found the following usefull:
-cache allocation(medium)
-improved scrolling
-liquid smooth ui
-disable debugging
I also use:
-NET buffers(small)
-Google DNS
-ram manager(multitasking)

In my experience cache allocation caused freezings (maybe they fixed it). Also, are you aware that liquid smooth ui drains battery? And do does the ran manager (in both multitasking and balanced, as i tested with Ampere)

I can say I've not done thorough testing. But the current settings I feel battery life is very good... but I may turn off the cache mod. The smoothui one pays for itself.
Edit:
Funny, I switch the cache to default and get a FC right afterwards. I was thinking they were to do with system debloating I've bend doing
I have installed Root Booster, It's a great app for perfomance and battery. You can try it man!

Task and Unwanted processes

Guys my system is constantly boosting its clockspeed like something is running on the backgroud.
Is there some program to shutdown tasks and see whats is ruining my battery?
My idle drain is above 5%/hour
Pixel experience, franco kernel, latest vendor firmware im using
