Hi There! I wonder how I can remove all the ****ty apps that comes with phone(CA Gold Rush, Peggle , Geotags, etc.
Because I don't use them, and they just take space on the internal memory which is kinda sad.
Can someone link a guide or a tutorial on how to delete them, and maybe a list of which apps you can delete and which you cannot.
Regards Paul
There are lots of links in this thread (stickied in this forum!)

Short answer - root - install Titanium Backup - uninistall stuff. Be wary that uninstalling the wrong apps can break your phone, so check the instructions in the above link first!

I used the bloatware tool from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1734982
Make sure your SGS is rooted. And then still it won't always go flawlessly (I had to manually remount my /system before I could get it to work!).
hi guys. got some help about bloatware and system memory.
Bloatware :
- How to delete bloatware clean. as one of my friend said that if we only delete the apk, we still be left with the dependencies, data, lib etc.
- Is there universal tool to delete unwanted bloatware, since I already tried searched here, and all I found are there's only script for different brand and type.
System memory :
- What happen if we got our system memory full (beside we can't install new apps).
- Can we re-size our system memory (for android which doesn't have SD-Card slot).
- Is it true that it's better to keep all apps on system apps, rather than move it to SD-Card.
I know for some of you here, this question sounds simple. but this can really help for fresh android user to avoiding chaos.
Thanks for the time and answers.
Hey! i just moved from a Xperia M to a LGF60 and seems that LG bc its medium-low end has removed the following apps: QuickMemo+,Stock Browser,Music Player,Gallery,Tasks,Flashlight,QSlide,Videos,Health,Voice recorder, Caculator, Voice commands, SmartCleaning,SmartWorld and maybe im forgetting some ones + some crucial and basic configurations.
I found apks of Music Player,Gallery,Smart Cleaning,QuickMemo+,SmartWorld, Calculator, and Voice recorder, only S. Cleaning and QMemo+ were installed succesfully and working 100%. When I tried to install the rest of apps, they show "App not installed". I searched on the root folders for odexs files or whatever they are unpossibiliting the install of those crucial apps and nothing was found.
There's any way to make them install succesfully 100% like changing package name, compilation number, removing sign, etc to make them install? *I'M NOT ROOT, AND WON'T BE, bc i have a secure contract w my carrier and that stuff* Someone can tell me how to change those properties on apps easily on PC or my phone? Any developer that can help me? If someone agrees i will send the apks i need to install :highfive:
I'm actually using a lot of third party apps for everything, and since always for me that is a horrible thing and they look nothing stock UI and ruins almost the whole experience of the UI.
Someone help and hope u understood my English!

Well, I have the same problem... Where did you find the stock apps for QMemo+, Gallery, Music, etc? I went mad looking for those with no results.... I'd really appreciate if you can share where did you find those.... You can send a private message to avoid spam if neccesary.
I read that you can use a custom ROM to solve the problem, but i'm not sure to do that... So if you can share those apps.... and by the way I also can't connect to lg pc suite via usb because I don't have the "LG Software" option on the USB plug menu... I just have "charge", "MTP" and "PTP"...
Thanks in advance!!
I have been going mad trying to find the lg music apk is there anyway that you could send me a link to where you found the apk please id be seriously grateful
need the lg f60 us firmware/rom/operating system

this is going to be totally random...
i tried upgrading my metropcs LG f60 to lollipop (i tried 5.0 something and 5.1 something) and the camera didn't work so now i'm trying to go back to the stock rom/firmware/operating system that the phone came with.
does anyone know where i can get it?
i need the rom/firmware/operating system (whatever the terminology is) for a united states lg f60 that works with metropcs.
if anyone knows where i can find please get back to me quickly. i can't use my phone w/o it. can't scan anything, can't take pictures...basically freakin doomed right now.
oh, the file needs to have the .kdz extension with the software i'm using to try to restore it.
What's the best way to remove bloatware on my s23 ultra it has Verizon bloatware and it's unlocked with a clean imei

Both work without removing your data. All they do is give you the power to uninstall apps that are system apps that are bloat and not actual system apps
Never used either of these 2 before, but am interested.
Can you use these both without root, or does the phone have to be rooted?
Do they only remove the system app and nothing else, the phone won't reset etc will it?
Also, do you need to redo this a lot on each android firmware update? Will updates generally reinstall some apps you have removed?
Regards
James

They can be used without root. What they do is just removing the apps from the list of installed apps, their aren't physically deleted from the phone storage, so there is no need to reset the phone. Regarding updates I don't know.

I'm no expert here but I think that to fully remove carrier customisation you need to flash a different CSC through Odin.
I just use ADB to uninstall the packages...
Mine is unlocked so might not have much bloat as yours....

Both programs, universal android debloater and adb app control both have lists built-in and if there's one you don't know what it is or does, it shows the package name (com.android.whatever.app.calls.itself) in both programs so you can search for it online for a description of it
I have used universal android debloater and didn't even uninstalled all recommended and the result is not so good because I am not able anymore to install EXPERT RAW. I should have installing from the beginning, before to try the debloat
For some reason export didn't worked but I manually did screenshots. Can you please tell me what broke the posibility to install EXPERT RAW in camera?
I am not using Samsung account, just logged in with google account instead. It is mandatory to use samsung account for this particular camera plugin?
Thanks in advance!
No clue, I don't use that app but how are trying to install it?
You can sort by uninstalled and have "install" for each application which will ofc install it back.

You're trying to install expert raw from the debloater?
If it was already on the device then I'd restore all the apps and expert raw included, then remove apps again and not remove expert raw.
Otherwise you have to leave the Samsung Galaxy store to install it from there
As I mentioned, expert raw was not installed, I have discovered after debloat that the camera raw install method is from camera app itself but now is not possible anymore, nothing happens when tap on the icon.
Some samsung modules/system apps are missing, installing back everything doesn't solve the issue.
I will reset to factory defaults, and I will login to samsung account just to be able to install expert raw and then I will debloat again (what exactly is not clear atm).
I know battery life on this model is not bad but I want to make it more efficient, my problem is that some of the apps from the provided list shouldn't be removed and I don't know which one is.
All I want is to keep everything related to camera capabilities, other thinks like microsoft apps, knox, sasung acccount, galaxy store. bixby and some google apps I don't need because for sure they are running in the background and are eating from the battery life.
s23 ultra is too new, recommended apps from universal android debloater are not safe to remove, at least not all of them so I can't find anywhere a SAFE LIST to debloat for this phone.
Any point into the right direction will be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Unfortunately I don't think there are multiple lists of what you can uninstall. The lists in both apps I suggested are all safe to remove and the phone still work as a phone without anything extra. My only recommendation is that you just remove a couple things at a time and make sure that your camera still works as you intend it to. I wish I could be of more help, I'm sorry.
Hello,
I fixed the issue, actually is very easy. The list I initially provided (via screenshots) is fine, you just need to install back galaxy store and from there search for expert raw without being logged to a samsung account and then install it.
I haven't pay attention, the galaxy Store app name is com.sec.android.app.samsungapps.
Many thanks for your involvement!
