Well, I have been using Adblock from a while and never ran onto any known issues, so I am going to suggest you the same i.e. try using the Adblock. It is a good ad block and one more thing I don't think you can find it over the Google Play Store, I guess PlayStore has taken the Adblock app down over their store but I am sure you can get it from the the Adblock website !

All you have to do is to maintain Android's hosts file: MVPS.org provides nearly every month an updated version. Current latest update got published at 2020-03-03.

Browsers are different.. I use xScope Pro and it has an ad blocking feature built in. Adblocking apps (ad blocker free etc..) they only block android games. But in a web browser, the HTML file (or PHP, XML etc) the ads are built in. Only way to block them is by using a web browser which offers ad blocking. And note that not all ads are blockable by one simple mod.
Huh? Ad blocking works with web sites by blocking the source of the ad by either identifying the ip address or the site name. Apps and games that incorporate the ads into their data stream cannot be blocked. If CNN app pushes ads to the app with the same source as their data feeds you can't stop one without the other.
Still Charged Up
Try AdWay, but You need root for this.

I encountered the same thing, so I use firefox as my main browser. There are add-ons like adblockplus and clean quit.
I've also heard good things about javelin.

For android or the computer?
Android. Its not as friendly with google websites since its not based off webkit, but I make it work. Its also not as nice looking, but it functions more like a desktop browser to me.
I have the stock browser as my backup, and flashify for when I want to switch between browsers.
I run stock (TW browser), firefox, Puffin, and Link bubble.
Just download adaway and walk away. Blocks all ads at the host level of your phone. I haven't see any in app ads or browser ads in years.
Yeah I downloaded it it seems to be working thank you guys
Adaway is the best, does what it supposed to do exactly and more.
I dislike adaway because it disables redirects. and certain websites use them... I know you can whitelist redirect links, but it needs to be updated everytime you find a new one. so.. yeah

My phone is not rooted. I have S6 Edge running on 5.1.1
I have checked running apps on smart manager and end them but again many apps automatically open after sometime.
Is there no App to detect malware?
Remove every shady app you downloaded from Store and be careful next time you install stuff on your phone.
Usually games tend to show ads like that everywhere.
Source: dozens of Android phones that had those apps whose parents gave their kids to install games on.

There is...
Install All-In-One Toolbox from play store then from within the app (or again from play store) install the Ad Detect plugin. It will scan every app on your device and report their capacity to display ads, by what means, and from what source. From this info, it's easy to decide what apps to delete. :good:

Problems installing Parallel Space?

Got a M5 8.4 WiFi on Amazon's Prime Day last week. Needed to use 2 Facebook accounts with chat. I know Huawei has the App Twin feature but it does not clone FBM Lite (do not wish to use FBM standard due to the bloat). Had been using Parallel Space on my ZTE Axon 7 for a while so tried installing it. However it says it is not compatible on Playstore? Is this because of the OS (EMUI) or CPU (non Snapdragon) does anyone know? Is there a workaround to get it installed (maybe direct apk installation)?
NOTE: Not going to unlock bootloader or root the device due to a very bad experience in the past.
I am able to install it on my 10.8 pro. You can try to install the apk via apkmirror (a more or less secure source other than the play store)

Did you install it directly from Playstore or side load the apk? Playstore throws up the device not compatible message for mine. Same for 2face and 2accounts. App Cloner works but have problems accessing the internet, could be a setting issue.
Also, did you install the 64-bit support for Parallel Space? If so how?
Ok, an update, messing around with the tab a bit more last night, trying to get a working app from Playstore instead of side loading apks. Tried Dr Clone, don't work at all. Then tried App Cloner and it works. The system even recognised the cloned app as a different program to the original, allowing me to apply fingerprint lock to them.

I side loaded APKs for both Parallel Space and the 64-bit support add-on and worked great on my M5 8.4 (SHT-W09). Downloaded from the Game Guardian web site.

Thanks, I solved the problem by using App Cloner, which works better by not having ads. Now going to use it instead of Parallel Space on my phone too.

youtube kids keeps getting removed

I have the stock android v8.0 installed and because yt kids is not available in my country I install it manually through an apk. But after being installed for a few minutes the app is removed
I tried turing off play protect and searching the options but I can't find what's removing the app.
Is there a way to stop this from happening in the stock software?

Is it a legit app? If you have some sort of antivirus/security it may get removed if it contains anything untoward.

Yes it's a legitimate app (youtube kids) by Google but its not available in my country. I have installed it on my other devices without a problem.
I've tried disabling play protect and the built-in antivirus is disabled.

By legit app I mean from a reputable source. Many apps get modified if they're not from official sources.

I've downloaded it from apkmirror which from what I know should be safe and unmodified. Please tell me If you have a better source.

I would say apk mirror would be fine, however you can download direct from Google play:

I tried it, it gave me a very old version. I installed it and the same thing happened.
I took a look at apkmirror. It looks like they have a number of variants depending on the CPU. Which version are you trying to install? This is the CPU based off the specs I found online https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/820 but I don't know how to translate that into which variant you need.

It looks like it has to do with android 8, I tried it on a galaxy j7 prime 2 running oreo and a huawei p20 pro also running oreo, after locking the device for a few minutes it gets removed.
I created a new account using a vpn and set my location to the usa, I was able to install the app, but when i stopped the vpn the app was removed after a few minutes. when I go to the play store I find that the app is disabled and I can re-enable it from there, but it will automatically get disabled again after a while.
I'm going to try to downgrade the tablet to android 7 and try this again.
It seems that its happening to other people too
