Google Play Store Insufficient Storage - Micromax A116

I have this issue with playstore where it says insufficient storage even when I have loads of sufficient space avaliable.
I have tried clearing cache and data of google play services and google play store app, I have tried clearing dalvik cache from recovery, I have factory reset my phone.
All these methods except factory resetting works sometimes. Factory reset works everytime. But the problem works again after a few days.
Do anyone of you guys have permanent solution?????

Method 1 of 4: Using the Lucky Patcher App
The Lucky Patcher app is one way on how to fix insufficient storage available error on android phones. Lucky Patcher apk is actually a third party app to crack/patch paid Google play apps. Your device must be rooted to be able to use lucky patcher.
1.Download Lucky Patcher apk
2.Place lucky patcher apk into your SD card and install it using any file manager you prefer.
3.Run it and then press menu key and Proceed to Troubleshooting.
4.Choose "Remove fixes and backups" and then finally reboot your device to fix this awful error.
After this, the insufficient storage available bug will be no more. This can be done every time the bug appears and it will allow you to install any application you intended to have on the phone.
Try to clear data from the play store in the application manager. If that doesn’t work, clear it again along with Google services framework. You’ll need to sign in to your Google account again.

Happened to me once. Clear data from "Google Services Framework" and the market, reboot, and try it again. Solved it for me.

Guys, I think they are not working at all. Could it be the problem of new version of play store? I am able to download the apps using mobile data actually but just not over the wifi.
Go to settings>app> type all and find Google service framework and clear data then reboot

[Q] Play Store Problem : No Connection. How to fix!?

The Play Store displays no connection even with wifi. Already tried wiping dalvik cache, cache partition. Also tried force closing and clearing data from Google Play Services, Play Store, Google Service Framework. Help!!
Not enough information, your Play app could be corrupt, app settings, ROM or Google account.
Try logging into Google play on the website first to check the account works, then un-install Play app, re-install without settings, last try factory reset/reflash ROM.
It could be really simple or very terminal, like you've disabled a service or corrupted your ROM.
extra info
Google play account works on website. Tried signing out and can't sign back in - "Couldn't establish a reliable connection". Google play v3.10.14. How do you uninstall google play app?
Have you tried clearing the cache of google play services and google play in the application mananger ?

Fix for me found
Fixed the problem myself. It seems that I had adfree open which blocks host file. When I reverted, I could sign in again.
Thanks Muchly! Didnt think about the ad block.

found a better solution that worked for me without doing a factory reset or device wipe. just delete the hosts file in root/etc/, by using (total commander) app.then reboot ur device and run play store and enjoy. Make a copy of the "hosts" file just incase .
I hope it works for u guys , cuz it's really frustrating error.
Try clearing data from google play app and reboot ?

Deleting the hosts file and rebooting worked for me too. Thank you! :good:
AdFree
When using a rooted phone and you used Freedom for free in-game purchases, and as a result your play store won't connect, it's due the host file as stated in previous comments by others. To get rid of this problem, simply revert your host file and download the new host (both in the adfree app). This should fix the problem, hope it helps
Wrong Gapps version
After trying all solutions posted in this thread, I realized that the whole problem was that I had flash the wrong version of the Google Apps for the android version.
You can find which is the right one for your CM in the CyanogenMod Wiki. Sorry, I can't add the link now, it is my first link.
Fixed mine by realizing that somehow my system date and time were wrong.

Woohoo! That was it for me. This is on my old phone that I let sit for 6 months. Charged it up but couldn't access the Play Store to update apps. Turns out the Date was 1/1/2005. Gave it today's date and it connected right up.

Google play no connection error

OK so this is what happen
I install cm 10.1 with stock Google play 3x. I don't like the way android does updates of system apps and keep 2 copies of apps in system and data, so I go to play store apps settings, uninstall updates and use link2 SD to uninstall stock versions too.
Now I download Google play 4x apk and install as user apps, it give me no connection error
How do I fix this? Tried wipe and restart
I had this problem before when trying to install Google play as user apps so it van updates it self without shadow copy but haven't managed to make it work, have to fixed via restore to stock or reflash
Is there anyway I can make it run as user apps, or deal with this shadow copies? I can't integrate updates all the time

[Q] Can't update Google Play Store ?

So I am running Cyanogenmod 10.1 and I want to manually update my Google Play store to 4.1.10 but every time I install the APK file I get ''Google play store could not be updated. Free up some space and try again'' Help??
Sounds like you don't have enough room in your system partition, cache could also be the culprit. Can you confirm you have enough room, and do you still have your market updater apk as the market should auto update.

I still have Market Updater and I have over 9 GB still in my internal storage
Internal storage differs from system partition and cache partition.
Try clearing market data and cache then open and close play store a few times

You can always just delete your current play store then push the new one in

Google Play Store Not Working - Forever Downloading Apps

By mistake, with Titanium backup I deleted Google Play Download Manager & Google Play Services.
However, having re-installed the very latest Google Play Services, applications still do not download.
Aside from re-installing all Google apps, is there a way of only getting the Google Play Store properly working?
Thank you so much.
You will solve problem by recovering phone to factory mode (dont forget to beckup all files you whant on computer)

Didn't work, unfortunately...
I had to re-install Scrubbers 5.0 Lollipop rom!
Thankfully, all data was backed up so there is no loss of data.
However, I am surprised that the rom had to be re-installed from scratch simply because Google Services was removed...
Despite clearing cache, data, factory reset/restore did not solve the problem.
That said, it was my fault for removing Google Services.
I've just installed minimal Google apps over the rom, saves me manually removing the $hit/bloatware.
