I am running stock, rooted KK 4.4.2 NC5 on a Sprint Note 3. Just flashed the LeanKernel v 3.7, booted up fine, everything appears Ok. I was wondering if anybody else has some experience with this set up? Are there any bugs? Battery life? Checked the LeanKernel thread, and there is not much info there on NC5 with this Kernel. Any info greatly appreciated !!!

So the problem with the camcorder on this base isn't a kernel issue, as I've tested it with leankernel AND the stock kernel, and neither work. Ran a logcats when the FC occurs
Logcat on stock kernel:

Logcat on leankernel:

Interesting differences between the two. leankernel I get a LOT more output about camera. Stock kernel was just a few lines.
I'm looking into it. If anyone has any input please share
I am now going to run a logcat on leankernel to see if there is any difference

So I'm not sure which "stock kernel" you used but I was having the same issue using imoseyon lean kernel but everytime I put it back to stock my camcorder immediately started working again. Obviously not an issue with the base. We just need someone to make a special kernel just for this 2.11.605.19 build lol.
Is Imo's kernel based from the kernel pulled from the latest ota or is it compiled from the previous base and modified to work with the newer base?

Any solutions? I am having the same issue and very frustrated...
no soultions that I've found yet I just flashed the stock Rom again and deal with the lag. The weirdest thing is that I can't get back to 2.11.605.9. which I loved! The stock rooted Rom just gets stuck on the splash screen. Adding to the suck factor is that a lot of the file sharing sites are no longer up so finding options is getting harder and harder.
Hey guys, finally gathered the balls to flash my Fascinate a custom ROM today. After a long while of deciding what to go with, i found PowerWashed GB and flashed it with Odin and to my relief it worked and i went on and installed the permission package for it and my APN for Cricket.
Anyways!
I'm looking for a working kernel for my ROM (PowerWashed GB), I've checked out Leankernel but there's a few bugs in it. Can anyone recommend me a good stable ROM that works on PWGB?
Or possibly even better, a good reliable ROM that i can simply flash from where in at now? Please don't recommend Cyanogenmod, unless i can get a detailed guide because when i tried to flash it i got an error and it messed up my display and my keyboard got stuck open, and it was just hell so i re-flashed PWGB and was back to good.

Thanks for the quick reply Downloaded it and Odin'd it and enabled lagfix and it runs nice now.
I recently rooted my brother's evo and installed a custom ics rom on it, but hes been having a lot of problems with it and really bad battery drain. Can someone please recommend a stable daily driver (gingerbread or ics) with good battery life and no bugs please. Thanks in advance
i recommend MeanRom 4.3 However, you have to make sure to flash a custom kernel on there as well or you'll have some reboot issues. Either the newest anthrax kernel or dodava's

I've heard MeanRom 4.2 (not 4.3) with Dodava's 5.4 kernel is the most stable, battery efficient Gingerbread ROM.
OK guys thanks in advance for your help.
I have an issue with the Ktweaker app that came with the Ktoonz kernel. I flashed the new Hyperdrive rls12 rom with the ktoonz kernel that was in the rom. Everything is great with the rom except the Ktweaker app will not work right. When I tap the OC steps it does not allow me to raise the freq. past my stock max freq. (1890)?
I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 (MK2) on 4.3, Rooted, with Safestrap 3.71. I am running Hyperdrive rls12 with Ktoonz Kernel.
bump...I believe this is because even though you select the KToonz kernel, when you apply the mandatory MK2 module after HD for it to work on Safestrap, it overwrites it back to stock kernel since the stock MK2 kernel is what runs anyways due to the limitations of the S4 with Safestrap.
Okay so I have been having issues installing a custom kernal. I have rooted the phone through rumrunner and now wan't to install a custom kernal. The problem I have ran into with both the cube kernal and the crpalmer kernal is that once flashed and installed through recovery it goes either into a boot loop or just sits at the htc screen and does nothing. Im wondering if there is maybe something that I am doing wrong or if there is something wrong with the kernals. PLEASE HELP, I would highly appreciate it.
Which ROM are you running and which version of the kernels are you trying to use? Cubed kernel doesn't work on anything except really old 4.1.2 ROMs, crpalmer's current kernel only works on aosp/cm11 based ROMs, and his old sense kernel only works on 4.1.2.
