Try zRam, it might be something you're looking for.
But you need a custom kernel, like boeffla for ex.

Theoretically no, but some kernels (I don't know as it happens) can extend ram of 20-30 MB respect to the physical memory.
As many users said, you can try zRam, but be careful not exceeding, or your phone may have slowdown due to the cpu overload.

So how much i can over clock this phone?
And what is the original speed?
thank you for help.
Sorry, no overclock for Galaxy Ace yet. There's a team trying to do it, but it's complicated, they have to modify the kernel to achieve that.

Depends of your kernel firstly, and your usage type in a second part.

pegasuq governor, 200-1.4ghz scalling, thresholds- lower %=higher cpu clock stage. so it is up to you what percentage to choose

I recommend using siyah kernel. It is very stable. You can find different cpu and gpu settings in the signature of most recognized developer here to serve as ur guide.

Hello it is a bit of time (specifically since I switched from Android 2.3.6 to Android 4.0.3) that reflected this problem:
pretty much as we know the processor of our galaxy s2 is 1.2 GHz, but I do not know why when I do something a little heavier than the 800MHz processor crashes ...
For example if I'm on the Home Menu or APP processor (with the Performance setting to see if it was left to 1.2GHz) remained at 1.2GHz, while if I start some game or some app a little heavier than the processor down to 800MHz and stays until I am not to put it back to 1.2GHz, so I created a slowdown ...
Do you know why and then tell me how to fix it? Thank you ...
[Currently I get on the CM10 kernel with Siyah 5.0i]
[But I found this thing up even different kernels and roms such as:
ROM: Stock LP7 (4.0.3), LPF Stock (4.0.3)
Kernel: both those stocks with the Roma Siyah 4.1.5]
I already tried to do the restore factory
I apologize for the English but I am Italian
I would try and help you but I have no idea what your question is...

the processor is running at 800MHz and not at 1.2GHz in game end in the apps

I had same problem. Are you using rom toolbox app? As I was using that and for some reason it kept making it stick to 800MHz too.

Do not use Rom Toolbox.
The processor runs at 1.2GHz but when I play or start some application, the processor is locked at 800MHz
OK then have you got an app installed that allows you to overclock?

I'm just wondering if there is any way to expand the amount of RAM on my Galaxy Ace 2. I have Jelly Bean installed

Not physically, but you can go from round 400mb ram to 600 if you install JB correctly. There are pro's and con's of this though from reading around the place.
Ps. There is a Q & A section for a reason.
RAM Swap
I am not sure, but i guess u can use ram swap to do this. Google it!
AFAIK we have no kernel that supports SWAP at the moment.
BTW I find SWAP unnecessary since we have a lots of RAM.
dont know about RAM, but for Swap, i use it

D-kernel should be able to... And mind you, you are using the L variant if im not wrong. Who says its not possible. And we have enough ram for normal usage. But gaming? You'll need at least a Gig of ram...

Yep, my mistake, D-Kernel supports SWAP. But in my opinion SWAP doesn't bring any noticeable improvement. You would need a high class SD card an it will always be slower than RAM.
And I don't think that phones in general are good for gaming. But that's just my opinion.
COULD YOU READ THIS? YOU MAKE A THREAD IN WRONG SECTION, DUDE
Does anyone know about a method to increase ram ?
Use Roehsoft RAM Expander. In very short words to explain what it does, less storage, more RAM
You should try zram. I'm using arter97 kernel and it's in the aTweaks app
Buy more?

You can't buy more RAM for a mobile phone.
