Hi all,
I have just bought SG Player 4.2 to use in my car as satnav/music player/hands free and connect it to stereo through AUX input. I have paired my Galaxy Note 2 with the player but when I try to call anyone the player diconnects as soon as the other person picks up, what am I doing wrong? Help!
Ok I found solution, the problem seems to be android version 4.4.2. I have downgraded to 4.2.1 and it works as it should.

Will this also work on the player 5.0 as this seems quite interesting, I tried pairing the player with my phone but if I wanted to dial someone it still would say dialer not supported even though the dialer is installed and paired with my galaxy s2.The player has 2.3.6 gb and the galaxy s2 has 4.1.2 jb, both are stock and unrooted. Thanks

Well my note 2 is on ICS and player is on 2.3.6 and this combination works for me. Anyway I thought that player 5.0 did not have the dialer and could not be used as a hands free??

I found the dialer in the system partition, so I downloaded a custom dialer app and then when I tried calling the device I got an option to use the stock dialer to make the call then I got that message. So since the dialer is already present, calls can be made like the 4.2, but it just seems that the dialer present in the 5.0 is just useless.
Thanks anyway

reason for the title is streaming to my car stereo, on my vodafone stock 4.0.3 rom it shows the 1st track played with the stock media player but will not update to the next track when it changes unless i cycle through the car stereos display option until i get back to artist/album/track
if i use PlayerPro Music Player it shows the 1st track and refuses to update unless i power down.
now, if i restore paranoid android and stream using PlayerPro Music Player it works fine!
wondering if i can flash anything over the stock ICS 4.0.3 (i like everything on it, it all works like it should and the BT streaming is the only bug i have with it ) such as modems or kernels as i have no clue what contains the bluetooth files that are causing the issue.
i really want to keep it as close to a stock samsung 4.0.3 as possible.
can anyone suggest a way to sort this ?
thanks.
Anyone?

all these modders and not one answer
Most likely a problem with Samsung software. Have you tried installing a newer Samsung build that may have fixed that problem? If you have the most recent version then I'm afraid your gonna have to stick to aosp if you want it to work

no i have not, that was my next plan though, the vodafone UK release was quite early on in 4.0.3
i take it i will need to use another carriers version as i think the stock release is also quite old
pissed off now, 4.0.4 leaked today, installed and still the same issue
i just cant get on with the ASOP versions so i guess i have to live with it.

I had a lot of problem with bluetooth, the only ROM works fine for me is the Cyanogenmod 7 (cm-7-20120701-NIGHTLY-galaxys2).
it seems any android 2.* roms worked fine, just a problem with 4.0.* samsung roms, would love to figure it out but i don't know what to do next.
I just flash a custom rom for my s3 but that rom remove svoice . Does anybody know how to get it back. I want to turn on voice cmd and i need svoice. I try download the .apk and i turn on voice cmd but the camera wont cooperate.
Which Rom?

Xperianze 9.6.2
Well I'm guessing the reason is that a lot of Samsung apps have been removed and replaced with Xperia one's.....and s voice integrates with the Samsung apps...ie."play music"...opens the stock music player, not poweramp, or Sony music player, so guessing it is a case of dependencies being removed.....just an educated guess

Yeah it remove all the samsung app. I managed to get the keyboard, video player and samsung music player to be working. But svoice just not working. I choose this rom because it has a great battery life and is way more smoother than the previous rom i used. So i hope they have a solution for it. And im still new i cannot post thing at the development thread. LoL

I have a Galaxy Player 5.0, USA running CM10 (4.2.2) Well, I was wondering.... does anyone know how to, or be able to make available, the stock Jellybean/ICS music player? I'd really appreciate it.

apollo? its in the play store
Im sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant the Stock Jellybean music player, like the official 4.2.2, if I had gotten the device fresh out of the box. That seems to be one of the only apps I miss, is the true stock music player.

Slight problem with that. Different manufacturers use different apps. If you mean google play music, then that is also in the play store

My second problem is I found this amazing FM Radio in the dev-section, but i cant install it. the installation failed everytime. Maybe somebodey can teach me how to run them
I using a Samsung galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) with SuperNexus 2.0 M1 (JB 4.2.2)

Hey,
I'm using this Video Player,
It's free, no adds and Halo Theme.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidcodemonkey.videos.free
But I can't help you with your other problem, there should be a radio application built into the ROM.
Maybe use the search box here in XDA, and search your phone (or tablet) model and see if its a common problem.
Just done a search in Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mikersmicros.fm_unlock
But it's £5+
There is tons of radio apps that came through in a quick search, check them out
hello. any one here using this bluetooth headset? any mods to make the music track show in its display
please advise thank you.

Well, this device is working pretty well, and no problem pairing it.
You need a long press on the MW600 until you have a signal the device is waiting after a device to pair with. On the Galaxy 7.7, press discover and when MW600 device if showing, just press on it, and you're set !
But displaying titles on the small display may depend on your firmware, and the way you play musics.
On my P6800 with a non-stable even official Samsung JB 4.1.2, no problem to play music whether using a filemanager : stock filemanager or ES File Explorer, but the title won't be displayed. Same as with playing musics through stock MP3 Player. Previous and forward commands won't either work from MW600... ^^ :crying:
Maybe with an older firmware 4.04 ou 3.x, this could be different.
On my G-Note 1 whatever firmware versions (including older such as GB 2.3.x) to JB 4.1.2, got the same issue using stock filemanager or ES file Explorer, but works perfectly fine with MP3 player : titles showing and previous and forward commands as well !!! :good:
I didn't try Music Hub or such as I'm not intended to buy Musics this way...

thanks for the input, mine is working including hardware controls, only problem is the track ID not displaying. I tried tons and tons ofr music player, seems like it's a firmware issue
