My guess is that you've already reinserted the battery? Seems like a dead s2. Did you try a new battery?
@rrrosy i doesnt sound good... I think you have hardbricked your phone since the rom for another phone probably wiped the bootloader etc.
The only existing way that I know left is to Jtag it.

Hi guys, i'm not a experienced samsung user, i have my S3 like a month ago, bought it in Portugal, i guees it's the international version because it was factory unlocked.
It had stock OS, with lot of apps installed, no root, no custom rom, yesterday I tried un update pending in Samsung Kies (didnĀ“t write the version, dont know if theres a log in Samsung Kies where i can retrieve that version and post here), i made my backup, updated, all day worked ok, i remember answer somebody in Whatsapp and left to charge, today i found it's dead.
I searched and can't access to download mode, recovery mode, i plug to charge and no led, nothing, i just bought online a Micro Usb Jig to try it out.
I downloaded Odin but apparently i have to be in download mode so it appears as Checked, but i cant do a thing with the phone, right now im trying to download the Android SDK to test via cmd if appears as a phone connected at least, but i plug and unplug it in my laptop and not even the usb sounds.
I read about the update that kills S2, but i searched a lot and i dont see the first one with his S3 dead, appreciate any tip, idea, comment you can give to confirm what i dont want to confirm.

pull out the battery and leave it out for 30-60 min. Then put battery back in and boot..
If that doesn't work then take it back to the store and tell them after kies update it did NOT boot
Good luck
Edit:do not use the jig before u have been to the store

Hello,
after flashing CyanogenMod 9 Resurrection Edition my Galaxy S2 wont turn on anymore.
However, there is this battery charging something if I plug in the usb cable but this thing crashes or something and that gets in a loop.
What shall I do now?
Need more information? - Just ask
Laberkopf
Edit: Works now.. I think I panicked too fast. Sorry for the inconvenience

No inconvenience mate
Remember. if you can get into download mode or recovery mode, then you can still fix your phone by restoing to original firmwares and stuff
My Galaxy S2 won't turn on.....!!!!
Yesterday I tried to flash new android version using Odin 3.7. It got stuck on half way and the phone restarted, which never turned on again... No download mode n recovery mode either....
Please help me guys...
There is no Warranty.. I really appreciate if someone can explain the steps, so that I can do it myself.
Thanks in Advance....
Please don't reply with Jtag n USB jig because I don't have these devices.... And I don't think I can get one here in Qatar. I had mailed skander who own a jig in Qatar but no reply... :/ :/ :/
Hello,
Are you sure that it's charged? Leave it in charge fore 10 mins and then try recovery or download mode.
You know, you can create a jig by yourself if you have a proper working USB-cable. Look for guides for this
Other things i don't know, then only a motherboard replacement can fix it.
If you hadn't flashed anything unofficial, would you still have warranty? Cause i "had" warranty when i hardbricked my (rooted) gt-i9100 and they still fixed it...
Thanks for the reply.

I really appreciate your reply. I had charged it for more than 3 hours.. but still not turning on... Can you give me a good guide on making the USB jig....
mhh.... but I think I need to get a soldering iron too....
Here is the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24974232
I saw that you still need some other stuff for this to work, like a resistor etc.. Don't know if you have access to this stuff but..
GOOD LUCK!
So here's the story, my friend gave me his wife's phone for me to fix it.
His wife rooted the phone and it was working fine until it didn't want to boot (According to my friend's story)
I tried going to download mode and recovery mode but, no luck.
It doesn't want to charge either. But, it did detect once my charger and booted up until here:

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with s3, but I did own Note1 and 2. So I'm kinda new here at s3 forum.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Without download mode there is nothing you can do, try a usb jig.

Hi there,
Could be a battery :silly: issue try a diff battery this could happen when the battery get completely discharged
Hello everyone,
Friend gave me GT-S7560GSMH to change rom in his telephone. I changed to CM11 4.4.1 but it was problem with camera it was taking pictures 90 degrees angle. Then I decided to try to flash other rom. But I try first change the recovery since there was some problems with recovery. So change to other version of CWM or TWRP or something else. I flash through CWM some recovery zip file and after that the telephone became completely dead. No any signs of life at all. Trying buttons for download mode and recovery mode, removing and put battery back, nothing at all, no signs of any life. Please tell me there is any way to resurrect the phone? To bring back to life? It is not my phone. I wish I could give back living phone not a dead phone. Hope to hear any help from you. Thank you,

Hi
That's not your phone but you "change to other version of CWM or TWRP or something else" and you flash "some recovery zip file". I'm not surprised to see a dead phone at the end...
Anyways try to flash a stock firmware through Odin. Download the firmware from Sammobile or Samsung-updates. :fingers-crossed:

Remove the battery then hold the buttons for the download mode and put the battery back. It could work... Try to flash even if there's no sign. You have nothing to lose...
Can you test if battery has gone dead......
Charge it somehow and do the above steps
