[unofficial rom] omni with Yanuar Harry's opensource dynamic system bars feature - Nexus 5 Android Development

download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712470540
built from today's sources. yeah it's omni with dsb, but not pa dsb.

@yashade2001 any screenshots?.. I know Yanuar Harry from his CyanMobile Rom, he is epic Developer. Just a screenshot would be handy.

Awesome dloading now. I will report back

Hey brother. System bars running great. They were on by default and didn't see anything in settings for them so they are running switching colors status and nav with each screen.
I left kernel alone to do a full test and it seems to be pretty choppy right now. I guess could settle. Also decrease animation s to .75. Anything you need tested specifically? Thanks

I tried.
It works, but smoothnes doesn't exist for now.
System is very laggy...
Changing backgrounds of statusbar is often very slowly, navbar even slower..
But it's first idea and i respect that.
It is working but very slow.
But i believe next impovements will give more life and we will see something really good on our great Omni ?

Awesome to see my Gnex DD on the Note 2 now. I actually had emailed the Slim team asking if they'd bring this officially or allow someone to port it...glad its here some how. Downloading now, so stoked to try. If there isn't graphic artifacts then chances are its gonna be my DD.
Thanks for bringing this here

no problem! glad i could help
AH OKAY so i now have three AOSP roms thats run without those horrible graphic artifact and this is one of them! SO SMOOTH AND BUTTERY! My biggest peeve is these AOSP ROMs that have that graphic artifact issue...I'm going to test this for the next two days and report on battery life and see if I find any bugs...so far it seems very promising.

oh just to note, when i plug into my computer with this rom my comp recognizes it as GT-N7105 instead of the SCH-i605 as it does on every other open source project on our device
Love how smooth this is and love the fact that it's running out of the box at 245 DPI.
After switching to a smaller DPI, going back to 320 just doesn't match the Note 2 AT ALL.

Either that, or I flashed a kernel, not sure what happened first.
Does this have the I605 csc and apn? That could be the data issue

I'll definitely be trying this out whether working data or not. If anything I'll take a deeper look into the zip and see if I notice something unusual (like I know exactly what I'm looking for, lol!) but I'll make sure to check it out. Thanks again, brotha!

A ROM that we want it to be. Smooth. features. Creativity. Without those in the credits in the box, i guess, you won't see this ROM being a combo.
What is Xylon?
A Generally based of many kinds of features around the Android Development and fits into minimal customization. It may act up like AOKP, but totally not at all. Overall, we're still in work in progress state of changing the base to slightly minimal like FNV before. This ROM is built off with GCC 4.7, O3, Linaro Strings enabled. (Galaxy Nexus Kernel, fusion with anarkia's horn, O3 and Linaro GCC 4.7.3 enabled.). Feature list will be available in the 2nd post. Changelogs. We don't usually write up but we will starting builds of 2.2.

I love the sound the phone makes when you tap on an icon, or a menu button. It's just... different. I'm into it xD I would love you forever if that was a flashable zip or something alone those lines. Very nice ROM by the way! Tried it out but went back to Carbon because of Halo features. If this had Halo though.... oh boy... game changer.

So I'm having a hard time entirely disabling hybrid, I choose phone mode and things are mostly sized properly, however quite a few things aren't? Is there anyway to remove it entirely? I don't know how people can even enjoy hybrid mode...

Did you reboot after disabling hybrid mode? Beyond that, make sure UI Mode and Apps UI Mode are at 320, and System Density and Apps Density are at 480. Then go through DPI Groups and remove all apps from each group. That should put everything to "stock" even if hybrid mode was still on. For the record, I love Hybrid Mode

ThinkingBridge project consists of people (around the world now) that want to learn how to do things related to the Android Open Source Project. It's not just a fork that has a few features added in and some themes changed, or a project that just wants to see how many devices can be ported. We've all learned something in the process of porting devices, and creating features, and continue to do so. With contributions from other forks like CyanogenMod and CodeAurora we are able to learn from them and continue even with older devices.
Also, all of the sources can be publicly viewed through Github.
ThinkingBridge Feature list:

Man this status bar colors API are nice if we can see it more often in other ROMs .. too bad it's exclusive ..
Flashed this an hour ago and i am loving chameleon engine ! Amazing work guys !
It lacks a litlle bit in customization but hopefully it will come in next versions, its stable and smooth and i would recommend it to anyone !

But if i complie from your github (Which i found on ThinkBridge G+) and cherry pick some other features the Chamelon os will be there right?
I think you should put in the OP the list of feaures that the rom has, but beside from that I'll try it just for the chameleon engine, which looks so cool from the screenshots (I can't see the video )

It is not complaint, but just was not sure where that gape came from that's all. One of the smoothest feature rich ROM.

Hi,
Is the zip/rom compatible with t-mobile t889? I was referred to this thread from LS thread for my device, but I'd like to make sure there are no incompatibility issues between these devices (modem? kernel? etc.)
Many thanks for your fixes!
