I've been Googling around and some people describe the Hero that Orange are selling as black but it looks brown against some of the 'blacker' Heros on an image search.
In the UK the Orange branded Hero is graphite not black.
HTC offer AFAIK :
White - Unlocked, unbranded
Brown
Graphite - Orange UK only
Black
Pink
TBH, I've seen the black and brown ones in Carphone Warehouse, they don't look very good IMHO.
IS there a difference is specs betweens the T-mobile Hero and the Orange Hero, do one have better rom or something or a different chipset ?
Cheers James
Internal specs are the same.
The firmware is different with T-Mobile doing more customisation I believe. The core software though is the same.
Depends if you like the HTC look throughout or the T-Mobile one.
T-Mobile puts a big logo on the top of the touch screen which I hate. At least orange has the decency to put a small, inobtrusive logo on the rear case.

Thanks for that, i would prefer HTC over t-mobile so i am glad tha orange have left it to HTC rather than messing around with it

LOL, i was thinking that i thought atleast if the logo annoys me i can just change the back cover
The specs of both are the same. I don't know why people think the T-Mobile hero has had loads of customization done to it.
It's exactly the same as the standard HTC one and the Orange one. Only difference being that T-Mobile has a T-Mobile boot screen and some web n walk app that I've never used.
Hi, does anyone here know where can i get a digitizer without the at&t logo I saw a white galaxy note with a black screen digitizer and I have to say It looks awesome! like a huge galaxy nexus... but, however i looked all over the internet and i cannot find any that doesn't include the lcd, the ones with no lcd are for the n7000.
It's probably easier to get a black Note and swap the battery cover, than to get a white Note and swap the digitizer...
Same effect
Yes, but I need a european version because I don't want the AT&T logo on it.

The Euro version will not be i717, and will have the button on the bottom.
Maybe a Rodgers or Bell, Canadian version, will be what you want(?)

I would suggest you ask or look in the GT-N7000 sub-forum (I assume that's the model you have). I doubt the AT&T logo digitizer would work as a replacement for your Euro version. Also make sure your phone doesn't or has the glass/digitizer glued together before you order and waste your money.

I suspect the Canadian versions are similar to the AT&T version, as they all have the same model designation + a letter to differentiate between carriers.
Rogers Note here, no AT&T logo anywhere, just says Samsung at the top.

Thanks for the clarification, guess reading through tapatalk I wasn't reading it right
How about a screen protector with colored border?
This continues to be 1 of the main issues with the US carriers: their lame branding...
And the fact they decide to give different names to the same exact phone models (except with some changes here-and-there).
Too bad here in the US, we only get the iPhone and Motorola phones early (which is pathetic). We can thank the 2 reasons listed above for this fiasco.
Aren't the expensive? Like around $250 I believe

Personally its not worth the trouble..or the money. Just sayin...

the screens are interchangeble. You can get screen without logo for international version but also you will need a set of new buttons. Since the screen is glued to housing it is also easier to install with new housing. Then just flash the rom with international version because of the button. Digitizer is glued to lcd touch so expect to waste roughly $300-350 in order to get rid of att logo. As stated earlier its not worth it.

You can't flash an international rom, it will brick the phone. The hardware is different.
