[Q] Problems with internal SD fs - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I've a problem with internal sd of my phone. I've formatted it with ext4 filesystem (instead of vfat/exfat) and made a clean installation of latest cm11 milestone. Installation was fine, but now internal memory is useless: camera doesn't find internal memory, browser can't download file because of "internal sd missing" error. Obviously no problem if card is formatted in exfat.
Any help? Thank you and sorry for my english.

From what I've been told, ext4 doesn't fully work with cyanogenmod. Very few kernels and roms support this file system.

[Q] sd partition not supported in in stock GB

hello to everyone,
I'v tried hard to make my x10 2.3 accept my SD with FAT32 & EXT2 but with no luck.
once i insert the SD and power on my phone, its forced me to format the SD or the system will not read the FAT32 partition and this message keep coming "blank sd or unsupported system files". and when i format the SD as the system require, the ext2 partition will disappear.
can any one help me in this because i really need to use Link2sd to move ALL my apps to SD instead of using poor application called App2sd.
kindly note that i tried this in stock 2.3 and wolf_xperia_3.9.0 ROM with same output.
On my own 2.3.3 rom maded by me is working, based on official.

Cyanogenmod 13 partition sd card

Hello!
I have a problem. When I partition my sd card, CM13 recognized two partitions (in Settings) but i can't use for example Camera (dont recognize sdcard). I want use second partition to link apps.
Ohh.. and I don't want use Internal Storage option.
Then you are out of luck. Also you will find that the apps you move to sdcard will suffer performance issues.
Hello guys, first of all, sorry for my english, i'm new in the forum and in english too
So today i install CM 13 Marshmallow 6.0.1 in my Moto E xt1022 and i tried to use Link2SD using a 32gb sd card (formating the SD Card to 9.05GB FAT32 And 20GB to ext4) and in the time of mount the script in the app i received this error: "cannot mount second partition, no such file or directory"
I tried formating the second partition to ext2, ext3 ext4 even FAT32 but the error continues
anyone have any solution?
Thanks...

[Xperia GO] How to revert using SD Card as internal Memory?

Hi guys!
I did something very stupid. I wanted to simply format (wipe) my SD Card and used TWRP to do it. Unfortunately it seems TWRP is very misleading in this regard:
Instead of using formating the card from withing the "Wipe" menu, I have formated it using "Advanced > partition SD". This has apparently caused my SD Card to become recognized as part of my internal memory (as described here: androidforums[DOT]com/threads/make-sd-card-as-internal-memory.887942).
Now I took my SD Card out and formatted it to exFAT using Windows but it didnt help.... My SD Card is still being used as internal and I cannot acces the SD Card from Windows anymore.
How can I fix this? It's really annoying.. the whole internet is writing how to use the SD Card as internal memory but nobody writes how to revert it...
Thanks in advance

No ideas?
Maybe you have to factory reset checked #wipe interal storage#.
What android version you are using?
Nope that didn't help. I have found out that windows is not able to show/format all partitions natively using the GUI.
The solution was to use the diskpart too (integrated into windows), wipe all partitions and reformat it to fat32. Here's a manual how to do that

Link2SD Failure - directory No such file or directory

I think that this apps are in diuse, but now I`m using a Samsung J7 prime SM-G610M, with an android 8.1.0 and 16 Gb in storage. I wanted to extend the storage with a 64 gb SD card, so i intalled TWRP 3.6.0 and rooted with superSU V2.82.
Then I maked 2 partition in the SD Card
1. Fat32 with 29.74 Gb
2. EXT4 with 29.74 Gb
Finally I intalled Link2SD and mount the SD partition in the app. After reboot, I get a message saying that the app needs a "quick reboot" because the SD isn`t mounted. After the reboot, the sd partition work right, but, and here is the problem, when I try to link to SD card, this message shows up.
I don`t know what I did wrong or what is missing. I tried format the SD with EXT2/EXT3/EXT4 even with FAT32, none worked.
Someone can help me?
