i was just wondering that is it possible to run a rom made for other device like i love a rom but that is made for other device but i want t use it in my device is it possible ?
No..
This is not usually possible unless there is a port of that ROM for your device. In fact if you try flashing a ROM that is not made for your device it could brick your phone.

Hmm. I would advise against it but you can do so at your own risk if you wish. Let me know your results.

Alright. Good luck. Hopefully it doesn't brick but you'll find out soon enough.
Yeah, worst case scenario is your device will be damaged by putting a different devices ROM on it, since the ROM has to be able to handle the hardware specific to the device it's running on. For example, you could install a ROM for the wrong phone that has a default CPU frequency that exceeds the limit of what your phone can handle. This could either cause the phone to freeze or your CPU to fry.

that would be dangerous but there isnt any good roms available for my phone (grand quattro or win)
don't do it unless you have recovery installed
well don't try to install ROM from any other phone. it will not boot up. the main problem is with the divers of the other phone vary from your phone. yes it is true that it could brick your phone and you can even hard brick it under very rare conditions. kernel will not work from other rom. then there will be no turning back. if you still want to try yourself. then you try to port ROM yourself. There are ample of guides are available for that on XDA. but as you mentioned that you don;t have any ROM available for your phone on XDA i won't suggest you to do that. You can do lot of things with your ROM (but if you have recovery installed). LIke if your phone is 4.0 + Rom then you can play with "xposed". Good Luck.:good:

I'm very curious about flashing ROMs. Now I have problem with my funbook infinity but I have all flashing softwares which is required for flashing like Original Funbook Factory Image, Livesuit, USB drivers etc. I'm scared and in doubt that will flashing my tab will fix all problems. I want to be confirmed that flashing will help me to fix my problem with the tab and it will not do any permanent damage to my funbook tab.
1- will it solve problems?
If software problem, probably. If hardware problem, definitely not.
2- got risk of bricking/damaging/create more problems?
There's always risk.

Sent from an Xposed LG-G2/LS-980
if you take the right procedure, flashing rom will not make any permanent damage to your funbook.
in my experience flashing rom is make our device back to original if you flash factory rom.
if problem come from OS yes your problem will fix,
but if problem come from hardware like camera ic, lcd etc. no you can't fix your problem

I turned on my funbook again the same problem mentioned in this thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583218&highlight=reset+after+every+reboot I have 2 option left (1) goto it's service center for its repair and void my warranty buy saying that this problem is caused by downloading the busybox x software from play store. (2) Flash it with Original Funbook factory Image. Tell me which option should I choose 1 or 2 ??

Ok I have the stock Funbook factory Image. But my doubt is not that. My device go reset after every reboot so my question is:
Q: During the flashing process the device may boot several times, so will the reset problem interfere between flashing process ?
Q: Interfere by reset problem will not cause any malfunction to my funbook.

if one of your friend have the same mobile then create nandroid backup of his phone and install it in yor phone
otherwise contact to your phone`s manufacturer.
if all of above options not helpfull, then you have to find another phone which is similar(In terms of anderoid version, chepset, etc) to your phone
and install the stock rom of this phone.
this is just a suggestion not a solution of your problem so i will not responsible for any damage to your phone.
best of luck.........

A recovery is used by the manufacturers to install updates . but I'm talking about a custom recovery here, if you have one installed you can backup your rom, and load up custom roms that way. but I don't think it has been made for your device because it's not a well known device.
Maybe you could try and get it replaced on warranty
Hello,
I have a rooted Iocean G7.
I wanted to install the framework module with the Xposed installer app. This was no success, I got a bootloop. After this I contacted Iocean, and I have flashed my phone with the computer. It works fine now, as it should.
Now my question is, how can I install the framework module without getting a bootloop or other problems?
Thank you,

What root method did you do that didn't require USB Debugging to be enabled?? But yea, I dunno about that. You're going to have to find out though. You'll need the SP Flash Tool to work, whether it's to install the custom recovery, or to install the entire stock firmware.

There is a 'Super User' setting in Settings which I enabled.
I tried installing PdaNet but that does require USB debugging to complete the installation.
Isn't there a standard recovery mode on these phones that I can use (combination key press) to install a rom copied onto the SD card?

That's pretty handy. But no, the stock recovery does not support that. You might be able to get out of it just from doing a factory reset in the stock recovery, but it's hard to say since Xposed makes changes to /system as well and the factory data reset does not affect the /system partition, just /data

hi good day how to root iocean g7
Guys I'm new to this xposed installer and framework.. Whenever i try to open some apps they are been strucked and shows some error.
xposed on LP is Alpha, and there're issues with modules and framework, please take the following as kind advice :
if you were unable to find and read any of the tens of threads about installing xposed, you're probably better off without it, as you can expect problems/bootloops/issues ...etc, so unless you're prepared to go through all this, I suggest not installing xposed, but instead try a pre-made rom like Existence or Envi.
Just my 2 cents

Now you flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip in your recovery (i assume your phone is rooted and has a working recovery?) and xposed will be working.
But please read ticktock666 advice carefully, if you can't figure out how to install xposed yourself how are you going to fix your device if it bootloops?
You should be comfortable with flashing .ftf , rooting it and installing recovery before your start messing with xposed, search and read.

You will have to flash the stock OS from fast boot. Just a heads up. There is no universal version of TWRP as it is part of the kernel for the device and each device is different.

My suggestion is to bring your cell phone to repairing center from where you bought your phone , because I don't see any off support for your device , and one think more DON'T TRUST EVERYTHINK WHAT YOU FIND ON THE INTERNET !!! you must to know that every modification on your device is risky and can brick your device also in future don't try to root your device if you are not sure if it's work or not , so first do research before doing something like that .
