I have Apps2sd installed in my Optimus One P500 (still in Froyo v10a), and I am preparing move forward with either Ungaze's data2sd or Link2SD. Apart from both *2sd require another partition to be created in the SD card, installation method (Ungaze's data2sd requires to flash Data2sd_v4b5.zip in recovery; whilst Link2SD could install right from Market), and limitation on stock rom (Ungaze's data2sd cannot use in stock rom whilst Link2SD don't have this limitation).
1. What are the real difference between of having Apps2sd installed and Ungaze's data2sd/Link2SD???
2. Presume there is not compatibility issue, which one performs better in official GB (e.g. OpenOptimus 2.202.1) or non-official GB (e.g. mik's 6.6.1 (CM7.1-RC1) - GB 2.3.5)??
3. Ungaze's data2sd requires un-install of Apps2sd first. Do Link2SD need to do the same??
Many thanks!!!
Ungaze A2SD
Is it just me or is the link to Ungaze's A2SD down ?
hey there..im not getting the same benchmarks. I only get around 2100 with the cpu set to 768Mhz. I am using miks rom and franco kernel 19.4 cfs. Help me out plz
Thanks
Hello
why and how to solve this problem ?
I have a stock rom, and when I install one of these script => Slaid480 script or V8.5 turboboost
The SGA reboot in wifi randomly ,and when I disable the script, the SGA does not reboot.
Thx
Stock ROMs don't support all of the features in SlaidMOD and nor V8.5 Turboboost because it hasn't got a supported kernel.
Try using a custom stock ROM or a Cyanogen build.
Or maybe flash the CF-Root kernel (I'm not sure that'll work, but you can always try).
in my signature I indicate that my kernel is modified.
I also tried with TheMyth ICS lite and I have the same problem.
thx
Ok using root explorer go to system /etc/init.d tell me name of all the files in your init.d folder.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
I have almost the same stuffs and it's working for me.
I've installed these things in this order:
- 2.3.5 WKS9 rom via Odin
- CWM 4 from stock recovery
- CF-Root b82 from CWM 4
- Ext4 converter apk istalled in CWM Manager then converted to ext4
- SlaidFastMod V2 from CWM 4
It's working fine i reached 1455 quadrant score with this stock rom and mods
it's pretty good.
So the differences are the rom and the cwm maybe your rom will be the problem ?
or there are different scipts in your initd folder and that causes the problem

Hi, I would always use the cleaning script.
Are you on ICS? I have version 2.5 available. This is from Turkbey V5 ICS thread

Hello,
My XMP is running on stock ICS 4.0.4 with stock kernel. I followed this thread to enable init.d scripts. So hopefully init.d scripts is enabled in my device how to use init.d scripts? do the init.d scripts that run on GB run on ICS too? Which init.d scripts can I use in my XMP?
Thanks in advance

As my Mini hasn't received ICS yet, I can't confirm, but as u said that u enabled init.d scripts I think u can run any script u want. ICS uses the same kernel so it shouldn't be a problem i guess. Try Supercharger and Kickass Kernelizer

Installing supercharger for ICS seems too complicated to me. Plus itseems I've to de-odex or the process becomes even more complicated. I had read somewhere that after de-odexing I will not be able to theme to my device So I'm not ready to do that
How exactly do I need to use the scripts? Just Place it in /system/etc/init.d and run it in script manager with run as root and run on boot enabled?

Try this tutorial for installing Supercharger and KickAssKernelizer- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792
It also has links for other init.d scripts
That tut is for GB.. v6 supercharger's original thread has a separate tut for ICS..

You do not need to enable init.d scripts when using supercharger, on ICS or on GB (I used it on stock GB and now using it on stock ICS). What you need to do is go to /data/99SuperCharger.sh -> load up on boot -> run as root. For ICS, you also do not need to the complicated part e.g. the one where you need to patch the services.jar BUT you only get 50% effect of the supercharger. I didn't do it myself but if we have a deodexed one, it will be a one-click process to do by using that webapp he mentioned.

Alright. But is it true that deodexed ROMs can't be themed?
Hello, i want to know how can i install V6 Supercharger on my stock ELLC ? With stock kernel and just lastest CWM recovery ?
Is there a file that i can flash ? Or put something in Init.d if i use a custom kernel ? Or i have to install a script ?
The thread.

Thanks but it seems a bit strange to apply, that why i'm asking here if there's a easier way to use this script by flashing something or put something in the init.d ..
