Hey everybody...
First of al its kinda awsome that this galaxy player is still supported xD,i didnt use mine for about 2 years now... i know it was my first root/break/destroy/overclock/brick project... Now i'm trying to start this badboy again.. but i can't boot it up anymore.... and its in a charge bootloop... Next to that when i boot it into download mode my Pc wont recognize my playah... So ;P what to do?
+What i've done so far:
- I've reinstalled USb drivers
- Used driffrent odin versions
- Waited...
lets see if maybe one of you could help me boot him up again!

Hello guys i hope that you can help me i have a huge problem my neo: it doesn't response when i press power botton, green light is flashing and lcd is black!
I had CM 7.1 before and few things didn't worked well (i loved it but i had problem with camera) so i wanted to replace it with stock ROM newest version...
I tryed few methods with fastboot, and x10 flashtool, SEUS and Wotan client...
Fastboot flashed ROM successfully (older versions) but it stucked at SE logo ...
So i tryed out x10 flashtool followed by guides etc. and when i connect my phone to pc X10 Flashtool is showing up some errors about USB drivers = USB\VID_0FCE&PID_ADDE\4&2BEA0481&0&002etc
... and i installed drivers (Gordons Gate)
So i tryed 3th solution Downloaded SEUS and again stuck at connecting mode it doesn't show my phone connected... Cant make it work
And 4th solution was Wotan client. And i found some old ROM 3.1....145 and i flashed it and VOILA IT WORKED...
BUT i'm greedy bastard and i wanted the newest version of my ROM ))) (yes shame on me) so i tryed to update it with SE PC companion... and it connected with pc and than downloaded some small file and when it pops to connect my phone again it was unable to detect it (i followed procedure carefuly).
So i tryed to update it from Phone and it downloaded all things, phone restarted and now i got problem i mentioned above "my NEO doesn't response when i press power botton, green light is flashing and lcd is black!"
So i tryed to Flash old 3.1...145 ROM with Wotan client and again same problem (green light) and after it i tryed to flash the newest version of ROM 4.0.2.A.0.42 and same problem...
Also my phone is on charger at the moment i dont know how much batery % i got and again green light is flashing when its charging!
Also im using Windows XP Pro SP3 if it matters!
And now i cant connect phone in fastboot mode - when i connect usb cable to phone while holding meny key blue led doesnt show...
So guys if you can help me somehow i would be very grateful.
And sorry for to long Thread i am just out of any ideas

YES my Phone is fixed and im happy... Now i will sell it and buy HTC )))
Oke so where was problem? Problem was in SEMC (its something like bootloader i guess) it was erased. Phone was at service (good thing is that im working in mobile phone store and service so it was free for me xD) and now its fully working with 3.0...145 software version!
And my servicer told me not to update to current 4.0....42 version because i have unlocked bootloader (had to unlock it to install CM 7.1) and something might go wrong! ... So tell your friend to take phone to service and to pay thats only way for now...

I bought a new Galaxy SII and unfortunately discovered lately that it is GT-I9100G. I rooted the device successfully with no issues. My cousin told me about a good ROM (without knowing about compatibility issue) he sent it through his I9100 device's Wifi. when I booted my device from the discovery mode and followed all the steps to install the ROM I failed to have my device up. It keeps showing the dead screen (the yellow triangle) with no luck
I read a lot of posts related to this issue I found that it is possible to fix by removing the battery and putting it back, connecting the device to the USB cable and then booting it in Download mode but again it failed !!
Now my device is dead since more than a month ago and my PC is not discovering it even. Please help to get my device alive

You'd better read BEFORE flashing something... now you have to read A LOT for the finding a solution.
Are you sure your battery is charged enough?? Cause you said 'since a month'
Maybe it's bricked for ever...

Ok, have you got KIES and ODIN on your PC? So your device can be recognized by odin. Then flash a stock rom from the forum ... Read How To flash with ODIN. (not the mobile version)
I have KIES and ODIN but when I connect my device to PC .. ODIN cannot recognize it.

Make sure KIES is not running at the back and that the Samsung USB driver is installed. Maybe delete KIES, install again but not updating KIES. Restart PC, fire up odin and put your phone to usb ... wait if you see the ID:COM turns yellow. If so, you can flash again.
Can you be more specific..your phone can enter in download mode?
Did you try on other computer to check ondin/kies connectivity?
Odia (all credits goes to him) wrote on another semi bricked phone this:
Uninstall the Samsung USB Driver from Control Panel
START/Control Panel/Programs and Features
Select "SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones" and then uninstall
reboot your PC and then re-install the Samsung USB Driver from:-
C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\USB Driver
and run "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe"
Doing that will make sure there is no USB driver corruption.
(PS. is on a pc with widowsn7)

Ur options r:-
if phone can enter download mode then use odin to flash correct rom
If it doesnt work then pull out the battery connect phone to charger ...hold buttons for entering download mode and while holding the buttons put the battery in
If this doesnt work buy a usb jig and then while u have the battery pulled out put in the jig and then put in the battery and see if it enters download mode
If none of these things work then my friend ur phone is completely hard bricked
Ur only options r to go to samsung guys n get it repaired there...if they give u crap about losing ur warranty coz u flashed a custom rom then its better to go for jtag repair as that will be cheaper than the amount samsung guys r gonna ask for repair

I followed your second "if" .. I pulled out the battery . held the buttons for entering the download mode and while holding the buttons I put the battery back

glad to have it back alive...SGS2 is such a great device,...almost cannot be bricked....from this samsung did a great job..

what a tragedy
Okay, So i have Samsung Galaxy S korean (shw m110s). And Rooted and I run on Gingerbread deodex, 2.3.6 gsm... i don't remember exactly.
And the problem is : I was trying to flash clockwork mod to my phone using Odin and now .. It's bricked. I think.:crying:
The screen looks awful (I cracked my screen 1 month ago and fixed it at shop. changed the screen)
And i can't go to download mode. And the Odin stucks at Setup connection...
I tried reinstalling the driver, another port, another cable. No good.
Besides I'm at camp and my friends don't have phone. So i need to call someone but the phone is bricked.

well 2 days ago I installed Chainfire3D , After installing the Chainfire3D's drivers my phone closed then my phone wa s freezing after the logo with a blackscreen, I could only see some light in the night , so after watching some tutorials now it's the freezing logo problem,
and I was trying to install a new rom but I need Odin for that I tried all versions of Odin but my phone does not connect to my pc/Odin
Also tried it on other computers , Samsung Drivers are all installed also Samsung KIES , Is there a solution before I have to pay for it to repair?
(my phone is rooted) & installed Android 4.2.2
(also did everything with the chache,fqctory,& tried a lot..)

just to get sure: you mentioned that you have kies installed. Before connecting to odin have you killed kies and all its processes in taskmanager, because they cannot work at the same time (and as I know kies starts automatically at boot)?
and you are in download mode? (you did not mention that so i have to ask )

You have to kill Samsung kies from task manager in your computer than open odin and connect your phone.

Yes... You can flash any rom you want... all of them will work just fine...
Hello guys!
First my name is Paul and i m from Romania
Last yer i buy`t a SAMSUNG GALAXY S9+ (SM-G965F) from a friend so everithing after that was instaling TRWP recovery and custom ROM+root...
So,yesterday i try`t to update my recovery using a image and instaling thru actual recovery,but because i`m not now exactly how and what happend next i reboot back to recovery but instanted booted in download mode and remain stock in....
How i fix this?????
One more think good to know is that my PC does not recognize the phone!
I try to conect phone via PC to use with ODIN but nothing,no COM...
If someone know something,a way to fix all this please let me know!
