Im sorry, you might be swimming in the deep end. I recommend that you change the mode to USB Modem, that usually works.

Same here I thinks it's because of how we rooted... We might have to Un root, and then re root with ioroot.

I thought about that but everything else is running smooth. I would hate to flash the firmware and re root with ioroot and end up with other issues.

Why re flash firmware? Un root in superuser
I just flashed back to stock and rooted with ioroot. Usb debugging now stays enabled after a reboot. It must be a issue with stump root. And I wanted to flash just so it would be a fresh start over.

Does usb debugging really need to be checked all the time? I get the Titanium error but the app works just fine for everything I tried.

Not sure, its just kinda annoying.
I guess it could be an issue if you start playing around with things and get into a bootloop situation.
I used Stump and had this problem. I used SU to unroot and re rooted with ioroot. It was no problem and it sticks now.
And as the poster above said, it needs to be on on case we mess up. Thank you sir for pointing that out.

Did you have to flash stock, or were you able to reroot with ioroot after doing the full unroot through SU? Thanks!

It took two tries and a reboot using SU to unroot but it did it. I did not need to flash stock.

No I didn't unlock the bootloader yet. From the guide I thought it said I had to root before I unlock the bootloader? Unless I read that wrong.

I had a similar issue as well. I uninstalled the drivers and then reinstalled them and it solved the problem. Try doing that and see if it was the problem.
what kind of software are you using? e97011cc?
I uninstalled the drivers and it still didn't work. And yes I'm on e97011c

You will need to downgrade with lgnpst to root. It is in topic at top of page on irc.
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=lg-optimus-g
Yeah you will my bad also I don't know what i was thinking lol but I ran into that same problem and I restored back to like the day I got it and then rooted it and it worked just fine lol Some time's its just like that
Hop into the IRC to get the link to LGNPST so that you can downgrade. I think theres links in the other threads like the conversion, to get the link to the stock firmware. LGNPST is not hard to use, just make sure you have all the correct drivers installed and its quick and painless
I tried to rooting. But phone did not reboot, but it loses cell net.
I reboot it manually and phone now turns on screen for a half second and turns off. And I can not use it (unlock screen is not working).
I can run it in download mode. So what can I do? Download stock ROM and flash it? BTW, what app I need to flash stock ROM?

Power+vol down does not reset (I tried all combination: VolUp+Power, VolDown+Power, VolDown+VolUp+Power, only last one works).
Updated: Thanks! Power+vol down almost a minute holdin resets data. Now phone is working normal.
Question: I also tried to root on E97011c and it got stuck after the restore part and nothing happened. Does this mean nothing was put on my phone? Is it possible it could become messed up now?
I don't remember accepting any ota but I'm rooted and unlocked and I am on software e90711c , I don't know if a ROM changed it or what, but I followed the guide and used the free gee app on play store to unlock boot loader. Not sure if this helps in anyway, but like I said I managed to do it and don't recall accepting any ota.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew a method to unroot the phone. You see, I rooted it thinking I would probably use it for a while. However.....turns out it has a hardware defect. While discharging, the phone will randomly shut off during long periods of inactivity.
So I need to turn it in to LG for warranty repair. But I've already factory reset the phone and SuperSU is still there. I've tried using the built-in removal for SuperSU and it's still there. I've tried using Root & Restore, it cannot find the device, so it's still there.
Anyone know a method to remove it before I turn it in? Or would it be ok to turn it in with SuperSU installed/disabled?

I would send as is. It will be reflashed anyway. Rooting doesn't affect hardware.
Did you use this method to root? Because you you should be able to unroot it as well.

Tried, no luck. Though it probably doesn't help that I had some odd problems while rooting.....yet it still worked. I forget what exactly happened though.
1) Backup all apps and data in LG PC Suite.
2) Format internal memory from CWM. Hard Reset the Phone and Flash any latest official KDZ.
And you are back to fresh factory stock.
3) Restore apps and data with LG PC Suite if you wish.

When you flash unrooted KDZ, it wipes out recovery (cwm) with no trace. At least this happens on our P765 , P760.

Couple month ago, I used ExynoseAbuse for my own Note2 to gain root and etc and I've had no issues with some custom roms and what not.
Then, I tried to root my wife's Note2, but accidentally disabled the exploit without rooting. I have searched for several days how to enable the exploit so I can gain the root access on her phone, but all the answers I've been getting is to go back to stock 4.1.1
So, I think I'm going to go back to stock 4.1.1 on her phone, but the problem is that there is this stupid little game she wants to keep her progress saved somehow. I think the game requires the log-in every time, so it probably has the game saves in their server, so everything should be okay. But, I do want to make sure that her progress is not wiped out in case my assumption is wrong. Is there anyways to save some of the data files of these game apps, return to stock 4.1.1 and put those files back into the file system?

I guess another question would be if it's not rooted, is there any reason to use ODIN to restore to 4.1.1? If I just do system restore to factory default, would it enable the exploit back?

By disable do you mean you took the ll4 update? Also you can root it by Odining the root 66 image. I believe that doesn't wipe anything anyways.

No, I used the ExynoseAbuse.apk file and diabled the exploit without rooting first (DOH!!)
I guess I will look into that root 66 image method.

The root method works, sounds like you need to educate yourself on how to use ADB correctly.
