[Q] Can´t mount data after flashing CWM recovery - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my P760. I was using my phone with unlocked bootloader, CWM and official CM 10.2 installed. But my phone stop working, and after reboot I get error mounting data in CWM and of course got in bootloop. So I used LG flash tool to go back to stock ROM. I didn´t knew if my bootloader is still unlocked, so I connected phone to PC and wait for 30 minutes. Then I hit command adb reboot oem-unlock. I decided that my bootloader is still unlocked. So I flashed CWM and got the same error. Stock ROM is working normally. Can somebody tell me, what to do? I just want to restore my nandroid backup and get my data. But with this error it´s impossible. Thanks for every advice and I´m sorry for my bad english...

[Q] Bricked x10 HELP!

Hello guys,
as a last resort I turn to you for help. Have been searching for the answer for the last 2 days. I am running CWM-based Recovery v.6.0.1.1 and have a rooted x10 together with an unlocked bootloader. I flashed the recovery without any problems and installed miui v4 but an older file which was very unstable (without any problems). Then I decided to install the newer version so i downloaded it, placed it on my sdcard and in the same recovery flashed rom. Unfortunately I had my usb cable plugged in all the time (during installation). Installation got stuck in the middle and nothing could be done so i removed the battery and started the phone again (this time without the usb cable). When I tried to reinstall that rom again it gave me status 7 error installation aborted, assert failed:getprop, error in sdcard and things like that. So I tried the ROM which had already worked on my phone but received exactly the same message. What is more usb storage mounting in the recovery doesnt work anymore (but it already worked!). Now the problem is that I don't have any system installed and when i try to flash the recovery again, flashtool does not recognize my phone (so does windows) and so it leads me nowhere. I think this is definitely problem with the recovery, after the failed attempt to install rom when i had to remove the battery it does not behave normally. Is there any way that I can maybe install another recovery from .zip - i do not even know whether it will install or just sends me another error. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I want to flash .tft file and i go to flash mode it does not recognize my phone in windows even though I have installed all the necessary drivers. It starts to flash but then says flashing aborted (this did not happen before, i could flash without any problems). Another problem is that i do not have any rom installed right now so i cannot even switch debugging on and if i remember right, i left debugging off in my previous rom.
Use Sony Update Service. Download from Sony site and install on PC. Follow the instruction, and this will reflash Stock Rom and Kernel (GB 2.3.3). Then, with latest Flashtool, first Root phone again, then flash whatever you want (custom kernels, roms..). You don't need to unlock bootloader again. It remains unlocked.

[Q] Other way to get to fastboot

Hello
Today I've tried to unlock my bootloader of LG Optimus L9 (P760) and install a custom ROM. I managed to unlock the bootloader after a few hours (Windows 8.1 sucks in this and do it on Windows 7 netbook is even more harder) and install the CWM. Then I wanted to install CM11, but the installation failed. I didn't realize that I need special version of CWM for this.
Well, I wanted to enter fastboot again a flash CWM again, but I couldn't boot, because the system was now erased. I couldn't install stock ROM, because phone wouldn't connect, so I grabbed older CM9 and succesfully installed it through CWM.
Problem is, that even from there, I can't flash CWM (flash_image recovery recovery.img in terminal doesn't work - shows error "error scanning partitions failed with error -1" - yet another problem no one can solve). And also, phone won't connect to my PC properly, because there is no LG Software mode in CM. Because of that, I don't see the device in adb and can't reboot it into fastboot. I tried to do it via wi-fi adb, which however only reboots phone and doesn't put it into fastboot mode.
What should I do? I can't install stock ROM, which would help (LG update tool doesn't recognize phone now and any driver I tried for "LGE U2 Device" didn't work... If it was available as a rar installer for CWM, everything would be OK again), I can't reboot it into fastmode, I can't flash CWM in any other way and I'm stuck with CM9, which I hate.
I don't understand why there is no other way, how to get to fastboot. Every other LG Optimus has a key shortcut (vol -, power), except L models and that sucks... I'm completly desperate.

Fastboot on these devices is a pain... Make sure you have installed the fastboot drivers twice.
Try flashing the recovery.img with Flashify (root) app from the play store.

Thank you for your answer I got into fastboot afterall by using app named "Rebooter (fast reboot)". It allows to reboot phone and make it go immidiately to fastboot. So great, now I could rewrite the CWM and install ROM.
Unfortunately other problems appeared. I'm using the right version of CWM for installing KitKat Android ROMs (and I've tried others), but I'm still unsuccesful in booting them. Instalation goes OK (ROM + gapps), but booting then is pain in the ***. I can wipe dalvik, cache, system... and return the phone to factory settings through CWM as I want, but every ROM gets stuck everytime on the boot.
At first, it takes at least 15 minutes, until LG logo disappears and the animation of booting starts. I left all ROMs to boot for an hour. But it seems I'm without a chance. Did anybode have the same problem as me?
BTW: This is my 6th smartphone into which I installed alternative ROM. I swear, that this is the hardest piece of crap for installing those, I have ever seen
Edit: I tried other kernels, also without success. It's strange, that I can install only CM9 and PACman ROMs. CM11, Miui, Mokee - no chance

Hmm... That is strange. Are you getting any errors like "status 7 error" when you try to install any of the ROMs?

Nope. That was back when I had bad CWM installed. This one is however OK and install goes absolutely right. Right now I'm pretty sure, that problem isn't in kernel, cause I tried every I could find...

If I remember correctly I think the cwm for cm11 has a bug that doesn't wipe dalviks. So flash ROM with the cwm for cm11 then restore the other recovery to wipe data. Or use something like rm -rf /data/* through terminal adb and reboot.
Make sure you mount the data partition first if you use adb and terminal.

[Q] Problema With a P768g

Hello Guys, I need your help with a major problem with my phone a P768G, the thing is that i try to unlock my bootloader, I alredy made it once with another phone, so that wasn't so hard, for that I changed my stock kdz for V10A open europe for P760, and after that to V20A y succeed in the unlock, so I wanted to try CM11 so y fastboot and flash CWM, when I changed to CWM I wipe system, dalvik cache and all the things that the guide said but when I tried to flash the rom, I get a error that says status 7 and i get confused cause never get that before, i try to reboot to get more information and surprise get stucked at lg logo and bootloops, and back to CWM, i tryed to flash kdz from lg software but things stops at 15% and say that dont recognize my phone, also when i try to hard reset the phone just turn off, Im panicking and don't know what to do, I appreciate all your help. What is the exact "Status 7 error" output?
Status 7 error can be caused by trying to install a ROM that is not specifically designed for your phone model a P768, and you try to flash a P760 CM11 ROM. When flashing that ROM the updater script checks the device model/ID and if it doesn't match that of the ROM being flashed, it will abort the installation.
Make sure that your flashing the proper CM11 ROM for your specific device.
Status 7 error can also be caused by, installing the wrong or improper CWM recovery version for your device and or ROM being flashed.
Double check that the recovery version you installed is the correct CWM recovery for your device and/or the CM11 ROM that your trying to flash. CM11 also requires a specific CWM recovery version to be flashed.
Thanks for your answer, I solved this way, I get back to the especific rom for my device, I can only do that trough the automatic lg support tool, cause when I tryed to flash get error of disconnected phone at 15%, later I saw that I need a specific recovery to flash the rom, so I downloaded and send it to the phone, after that I could flash the rom without problems and I'm now rocking my phone with KitKat
Thank you. I was really scary but now I know that can get restored thru the lg utility.
Sorry for my english.

[Q] P760 bricks and bricks after custom-rom

Hello all, i will try to keep it short and hope, somebody can help me.
Got a P760 with the v20o - Stock Rom.
I´d rooted the phone and try to install a custom rom (used rammars and nameless, both 4.4.4)
adb oem-unlock...entered fastboot ( entering the fastboot means the bootloader is unlocked, right?).
Flashed twrp ( the normal one, not the 2nd-init)
> reboot.
Entering twrp, wipe , install rammars or nameless rom and Gapps. Phone is rebooting and everything works fine.
Like i said, the phone works fine but after some manual reboots the phone bricks!
If i just reflash the TWRP recovery(not the whole custom rom, just the twrp.img) the phone boots again without problems and still on my new custom rom, but some manual reboots later the phone bricks again.
I´d repaired the phone with the lg update tool too and did all the procedure again, used CWM and not TWRP, but the same **** happen.
So i can´t use the Phone because im sure it will brick again, its very annoying and frustrating because i tryed differeten custom recoverys, different roms but theres no way, the phone will brick again!
Is there anything i do wrong? Because i read a lot and i dont get the point why the phone bricks and bricks... with brick i mean the phone stucked to the LG-Bootlogo and nothing happens.
Same problem here. Did anybody ever find a solution to this problem. My P760 bricks when rebooting to recovery. Not every time, but at least every other time. Other than that I haven't found a pattern.
Surprise Brick!
Start up LG flash tool and restore the phone. (It throws an error but the phone reboots to a working system.)
Use Computer to reboot to fastboot mode.
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Reboot.
Reboot to recovery (first time it usually works).
Flash some custom ROM or a backup.
Reboot.
...
Use phone for a few hours. Possibly sound stops working.
Reboot to recovery.
Bricked again. (Resist urge to kill phone with fire!)
Repeat!
lol this looks intrasting

HTC One X+ cant boot after flashing

Hey guys,
i tried to root my cellphone but since im not experienced with stuff like this i asked a friend of mine for help, but we kinda stuck so i need help. First i unlocked the bootloader then i flashed the 3.0.2.0 recovery and afterwards twrp didnt work out so i flashed an another version and then i made a backup. Then i swiped the factory reset & system, then i flashed the cyanogenmod 11 rom and google apps. And then i flashed the boot.img per fastboot and since then i can only enter the recovery but not the system nor i can fastboot. also i cant install a new rom. And once i missclicked on root tho the bootloader was rebooting. i would highly appreciate your help
