I purchased a iPhone 5s clone from China a month ago. Out-of-the box i could make and receive calls, but i didn't get the mobile internet working.
Anyway, I tried rooting the device using MTK Droid Root & Tools, but the program told me it couldn't do it and linked me to this guide: hxxp://forum.china-iphone.ru/viewtopic.php?p=502084#p502084 (It's in russian, but Google Translate does a good job).
I followed the guide and successfully installed CWM and rooted, but when I booted up the phone I got nothing but "No service", and when I tried to register the phone on any mobile network it always said "Unable to connect to this network at this time".
Now this sounds like an IMEI issue to me, and stupid as I am, i didn't check the IMEI of the phone before I started the root process. If I now enter *#06# in the dialer, it displays what looks like a correct IMEI. Since it is a clone there is no physical IMEI on the device. There is one on the box and I tried changing to that but still got "No service". Again, since it's a clone, the one on the box might no be correct.
Is the problem I'm experiencing an IMEI issue, and if so, is there anything I can do?
Device information:
Hardware: Alps Mediatek MT6575
Display size: 480x800

Xperia Neo L - Bootloader unlocked, rooted and customized 4.0.4 stock.
Hi, I have a note II (fake) GT-N7100 with MT6575 chip, dual some.
My original problem was an invalid IMEI issue and after attempting to fix it with mobile uncle now the phone continues to reboot itself.
I'm not to familiar with doing phone flashing. Not sure if that's what I need to do.
I did read somewhere about a program called shuame but not sure if that's what I need. I did
install the software and connected it to my phone after entering factory mode and my phone and factory mode
menu then appeared In the software. Factory mode menu is in Chinese but I can translate. Shuame is also Chinese but can't work it out.
any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
the only details from the phone that I have are:
GT-N7100
Dual Sim
MT6575 chip
and ver 4.0.4 ice cream
that's all I can recall from the info page.
regards.

I WHOLE formatted my Cherry Mobile Fuze Q390 (MT6582) with SP Flash Tool. Then I flashed the official firmware of this device with SP Flash Tool. I don't have any backups because I am reverting to stock. Now the phone works fine but it does NOT detect the SIM card. Also, the IMEI is shown as "INVALID" for both SIM slots when I input *#06#. When I try to fix IMEI from MTK Droid Tools it shows (ERROR : pttycmd1 device NOT found!). Also, MTK Droid Tools shows (Baseband V -----). I am sure the problem is that when I formatted the phone it wiped the NVRAM region too. So the device has no baseband or radio files right not and also the data/nvram/md folder has nothing in it. Although, WiFI still works perfectly except the annoying NVRAM Warning that I kept on seeing when ever that I wanted to connect to a network. Now the official firmware of Cherry Mobile Fuze Q390 does not contain any nvram.bin file. It does contain the BPLGU file but I can't seem to modify IMEI with SN Write Station, Maui META 3G, IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3 and etc. I tried using the MTK Engineering mode mode also and tried to write it using the AT+ code but it keeps on saying failed to send command. Probably the SN Write Station, Maui META 3G, IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3 and etc. only modify the IMEI when the baseband or radio files are already present on the phone. So I think the only way out for me is to flash a nvram.bin using SP Flash Tool or Flash nvram.bin+nvram.tar to MTK Droid Tools which I don't have. Any ideas whether I am on the track or not? If I am, then how can I get the IMEI back on my phone. As you people can see that I have tried a lot of things, so please suggest/advice accordingly and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, im looking for help with the device MT6757 Blackview a80 Pro, i am in a bootloop after flashing twrp and then the boot.img. I'm not sure what happened but at this point i dont know what im doing
The IMEI sticker Model says A91s(20)
I went to Imei.info first to identify the phone like i always do and the name above is what came up but this is where i bought the phone:
https://www.wish.com/product/5ee1d03a1f665e34c259543f?hide_login_modal=true&from_ad=goog_shopping&_display_country_code=US&_force_currency_code=USD&pid=googleadwords_int&c=%7BcampaignId%7D&ad_cid=5ee1d03a1f665e34c259543f&ad_cc=US&ad_lang=EN&ad_curr=USD&ad_price=66.26&campaign_id=8701430383&retargeting=true&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpNr4BRDYARIsAADIx9yvT1qm2sgr07EDjsk1FRA2qIxwiaOK7tKVL8jrfRTFM4FN_YKzJbMaAjewEALw_wcB&share=web
from what i saw the device looked like a samsung clone and it displayed dis in the system about phone( i forget where) alps.L1.MP6.V2_WEG.L_P73 202
The device and the name on imei.info doesn't match the device i bought and i think because of that my phone is soft bricked. If i could get any kind of help or understanding to fix this, id greatly appreciate it!
Firmware file i downloaded and took the img files: https://www.getdroidtips.com/stock-rom-blackview-a80-pro/
TWRP i flashed: https://unofficialtwrp.com/blackview-a80-pro-root-twrp/#Download_Files
i also got as far with the SP flash tool as i could but i kept getting errors, including those in screenshots.
