I've really done it now. I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH1545, VRUFNC5. I backed up to Titanium backup and then removed the bloatware found in another thread. Once that was gone, it started giving me this message, continuously. I am not sure what else to do besides attempting an Odin install. Any thoughts?

I'm on a Galaxy S3 Virgin Mobile, I was trying to root my phone and mistakenly used a sprint ROM. This has left my phone constantly popping up the error "unfortunately android.process.acore has stopped", I am unable to get to the play store to download any recovery tools though I do have root. What I'm looking for is a ROM (Odin or ADB flashable would be best) for my phone so that I might get basic functionality back, root the least of my concerns now.
Thanks in advanced!
Good afternoon all,
I have recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 via kies to Android 4.3. I couldn't do the update over the air as it was rooted. I had to go through and root my phone again through Odin and again all that went fine.
However since doing this I have had to restore my device 2 times as it shuts down every now and then and I find I 'lose' some apps...mainly games, which I find annoying. It also wipes any saved text messages.
At first I thought it was only losing apps that I'd downloaded through other means (i.e. not Play) but it appears not. I still have the apk files stored on the phone and have tried to re-install them but I get a message of 'app not installed'
Can anyone tell me why this is the case? As I have previously said it has only been since updating to Android 4.3. Not sure if it is due to rooting my phone (i'm guessing not).
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Chris

Suggest factory reset if that does not fix then flash stock 4.3 through Odin .
I know that I can't do OTA updates... My problem is that the phone will restart, without warning and when it reboots I have lost all my text messages and a few apps. Trying to reinstall the apk files gives me the error 'app not installed'
I have tried factory reset both through the recovery mode and the system settings, but nothing resolves it.
My phone is rooted and runs Android 4.3 which was updated through kies.
The apps it loses are games so that's not a major issue... It's all the text messages.
I have a very similar problem, phone always shuts down and restarts on it's own. A couple of times it has lost some apps but usually it just starts up again fine but it's very annoying. Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot loop too.
A Google search for random reboot or random shut down brings up a lot of results but no solution's, so it seems to be a common problem. It's not just the stock rom either as it still does it when rooted and running other roms.
I've recently rooted my T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 and attempted to download a cm11 nightly since this phone doesn't seem to be getting kit kat. The flash unsuccessful so i did another factory and then restored my back up. Everything seemed to work fine until i this error saying "Unfortunately com.google.android.gms has stopped" and it pops up again after i click "ok". I've tried resetting it but then im suddenly stuck in a softbrick. Any suggestions?
Hi developers and android addicts
I recently root my samsung galaxy s5 (T-Mobile) and it was working the first 2 days since I started getting rid of the boatware data from my cellphone. Two days after, when I woke up, my phone started with those errors like, UNIFIED DAEMON STOPPED working, OVER AND OVER then other apps got stucked with the same error like CALENDAR STOPPED WORKING, THEN FAVORITE CONTACTS STOPPED WORKING, THEN INTERNAL MEDIA STORAGE STOPPED SO ON AND ON so it was the first time that i had these experience, i power cycled it and it never start i got stocked on the t mobile logo flashing and vibrating severaltimes the only way to fix te issue was by wipping data and hard resetting options from recovery mode but i lost the SUPER USER AND THE APPS WERE DELETED I ROOT IT AGAIN AND THE SAME THING........ NOW Im WORRIED CAUSE MY SMARTPHONE PERFORMACE IS NOT AS I EXPECTED WITHOUT ROOT..............................please HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP! :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Getting "Com.android.phone has stopped" after rooting and removing system apps...
I rooted an older Alcatel onePlus that's running 4.4.2 and i think i accidentally deleted the phone app while i was debloating the phone. I rebooted and the phone is complaining about com.android.phone has stopped. I have tried a factory restore and that did not fix it. what can i do to stop this notification as it keeps coming up?
