Hi guys,
I rooted my Galaxy S II recently and flashed the ROM with ICS - Resurrection_Remix_ics_V2.6.1_AOKP-M6_GT-9100 . After that I am facing problems in Wi-fi . It doesn't turn on and shows me a continuous message that "Turning Wi-fi On" ... nothing happens afterwards.
Apart of that I can't see full internal memory which i used to see as 16 GB when i had Gingerbread . It shows me 2 GB now. I also tried "wipe dalvik cache" but nothing happened . and third thing which I noticed that when I switch on my Camera it asks me for SD card . it doesn’t work for internal memory as it used to work previously.
Please help or suggest if I can overcome these problems.
thnx
Did you use re-partition option?
Wi-Fi... change kernel and maybe it helps.
For camera I have no idea.

Yes, you can. But you need to find proper .pit (16 GB). It is somewhere on xda.

Hey friend first of all which phone you are using its s5830i or s5830 ? any one of them just download latest firmware of which model you have from sammobile and flash it in proper steps via odin make sure the stuff you will need it must be that's model only otherwise it will brick your phone
Hit Thanks if I Helped
If U Flash Or S5830 Rom On S5830i That Means U Have Brick. If U Have Warrenty U May Give Them And Say It Became Like This When I Turned Mah Phone At Morning. Hit Thanks If Mah Advice Was Good
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda premium
Download the official Firmware from samfirmware and then try.It may works
Reflashing the firmware for your EXACT model number should do the trick. (if you can't boot into download mode then try to flash when you have the screen with the triangle and the PC)
Not sent from a ACE but a CooperVe using Tapatalk 2.
Hi,sorry to bother you,i've searched for this situation on wiki and of course on the internet, but I wasn't able to get a clue about it.
Here's my issue:
I've flashed my GT-S5830i with [Aroma Mod v.11] using the stock kernel in order to see SIM contacts, but i was forced to install the stock firmware from India (as suggested by the Rom developer/creator),because with italian firmware i was stuck on the GT-S5830i logo...
Now my question: Indian stock firmware Baseband Version is S5830iDDLA1 ,the italian one that I've got at Samsung drivers is different.
Should/Can I replace only the modem "firmware"?
Also this value is different XXLA2 is for Indian stock firmware , XXMB2 is for italian one, what is this value and where i can check it in Aroma Rom,since it's not listed under "Phone Information" ? Just wondering if this can lead to any kind of issue.
If i replace the phone firmware could this break the ROM ? Where to put the XXMB2 file in Odin,in case you suggest me to replace it?
Thanks in advance for your time, consideration and awesome works!
Sorry for my english.

Thanks for the reply, but prolly, I've explained myselft in the wrong way,so far the cellphone is working without any issue, but since i'm a perfectionist ,
I wanna know if it is possible to flash only the Phone part and leave the rest untouched ,and if that could "break" the Rom and revert it to stock.
I've got the latest firmaware for my phone, what I wanna know is if I need to check Re-partion too or not.
Same story for the XXLA2 vs XXMB2 (what is that value by the way ?? ) and what file do i need to use once i've splitted the md5.
Thanks again.

Actually I'm just wondering if a different BaseBand version could lead to some phone signal issue, like low band signal and so on,that's why I'm asking;but if you're telling me that the phone will work perfectly fine.even with that diffrent BaseBand version,I'll be good (I've installed Aroma v11 yesterday,so I'm "testing" it)also what are XXLA2 and XXMB2 ?
i flashed CM 10.2 stable on my galaxy SIII. its a good rom and i was happy with it until i meet 2 issues that are ruining my joy, 1 is the camera, its crashed for no reason and i have to reboot the phone to make it work, 2nd i cant connect my phone via media transfer, only as a camera .

Just a notice: don't use the OXA (Open Europe) firmware, there's really no support for it on Samsungs side, and no OTA to 4.3 till now.

You didn't say which stock rom you wanted but this is my own backup of the latest generic 4.3 rom for UK and Europe I9300XXUGMK6_I9300OXAGMK6_BTU extract the MD5 file and flash via Odin if you want it.
Don't forget after flashing to boot into recover and wipe cache, dalvik cache and factory reset to clean the custom rom stuff from your phone
