Anyone know where to get some decent watch faces for the LG? The Moto has a bunch of cool ones available.

Thanks. I bought Facer and tried to import some of those Tag faces on Facerepo, but Facer doesn't recognize any of the files in the images folder. They're either broken or need to be manipulated other than the directions Facerepo provides.
Download the watch face of your choice.
Open the Facer app.
Go to the "My Watchfaces" screen.
Tap the button in the top right corner. This will bring you to a file browser.
Browse to the downloads folder where you just downloaded your watch face.
Select the file you downloaded. This will add the face to your "My Watchfaces" screen.
Tap the face you'd like to install on your watch.
Tap the button in the top right corner to send the face to your watch.

These are 3 different apps.
For "Facer" for example the face are "name.face" files. Just click on this file in dropbox for example and there are imported automatically in Facer. (You download it in your phone before)
"Face" is another app, you can import with "explore" menu in the app.
With "Wear Watchface Creator" click menu app and select download to download the ".zip" file. and after click on "import " "WearfacePack" from your download directory.
Hope this help

Thanks, that was the problem, the files have to be in the Facer directory or it won't find them. Would be nice if they fixed their instructions.

Take a look at the Intellicom Watch Face app on the Play Store. It's the best I've found yet for building your on custom face, and very easy to use.

Here I jut picked up the A06, badass. My fav right now is Wear LCD Watchface . I just like the way the retro LCD styles fit the whole screen better. Also love the aqua screen and accents.

Zooper Watchface are also very nice and fully user customizable.

I agree except that it saves files with .iwf extension which can't be used by any app including Intellicom! Anybody know what to do with those exported faces you created with this?

[APP] MPAtool - add artist backgrounds to your media library

With MPAtool you can search for artist backgrounds and add them to your music library.
You can use the huge database from last.fm or any image stored on your device to beautify your music experience.
There are two attach modes available:
manual attach - to add a single picture
auto attach - to download pictures for your entire music collection
Later releases will include the option to import and export folders from your skydrive or dropbox account.
For now it's not possible to change existing pictures so you have to remove all the artists music first and add it again to make a 'picture reset'.

Great tool!!!
I have been using for a couple of hours. It works as intended to and I personally like the manual attachment of images. Is there a way to automatically delete the dummy MPA files? One more request, do you have it in your plans to add album images?
Thanks.

Album art? Next update?! This is like a wet dream, only better because its actually true :good:
And deleting dummy files is as easy as mounting your phone in windows and delete the dummy file in your music folder - it doesn't bother me much to be honest.
Keep up the good work, I'll give you five stars and a vote!

Thank you!
Even on the phone it's easy to delete. I just found out that you can open the application bar and pick "select all" to delete if you are in selection mode (with these check boxes).
I thought about adding a small "welcome screen/tutorial" in a coming version like I did in the homebrew v 1.x
The album art feature is ready to test but needs some work because it's kind of slow on collections with many albums having no album art. I think I will push an update to the beta channel next week.
Great app. Working nicely. Got a number of albums w/o images - well not anymore... Thank you. Looking forward to update, eg autodeleting dummy files.

Autodeleting dummy files will not work without access to the file system or a method given to us by Microsoft to delete songs from the MediaLibrary.
So don't expect this function in the near future. Sorry about that

Did i miss something
i am not sure if this is just me or what.
When i was trying to add custom image for certain artist, i select the image from my picture hub, but it seems not to save it. The selected artist is still not being assigned with the picture. Please help.
What i did
select custom picture -> select the artist -> select the custom picture -> select the atach button at the bottom (not sure if this is right). But the artist does not really change
Please advise

How to make gear fit clock app

Hello, XDA users!
It introduces a very very small project that I wrote.
It is obtained by reconstructing clock app simply by reversing the Gear Fit Manager app provided essentially.
You are able to create your own clock by changing only resources(clock.zip) in asset folder.
It is a sample project of a kind.
https://code.google.com/p/clock-app-for-gear-fit/
I do not have enough design sense. Therefore, clock that is included in the sample is ugly
But, you will be able to create a lot of nice clocks.
if you share your own clock, and I & other gear fit users are really happy.
This is just what I was looking for... except I dont know how to use it. Can you explain more?
thanks for sharing.. i was also looking for that...
Thx for sharing! Can you make a package of the "text-clock"?

WatchMaker - Short Review

I've had my LG G Watch for about 2 weeks now. Have really enjoyed all the extended function from my phone. The only thing I wished I could do was customize/personalize the watch face.
Enter Watch Maker
This has several pre made watch faces to use, but the best part is the ability to make your own. After messing with the background or the different pre made modules, I found the "Expressions" to be the most full-filling. Being able to customize to the point of having current weather, forecasted weather, calendar events, battery levels (phone and/or watch), and numerous other information available to display on the watch face is great. Not only that, but can also select which components are on when screen is bright or dim. Super satisfied with spending 99 cents for this app! My watch is now, MY WATCH!:good:
yes! Watchmaker is totally worth it ! I have bought it too.
Can you share a picture of your watchface ?

Don't think you can screenshot your watch but you can grab a screenshot from your phone and post here or take a photo of your watch
I have bought Facer, WatchMaker and this program...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.intellicom.lswatchface&hl=en
I have used the first two to easily load premade faces from this page...
http://facerepo.com/app/faces/?face...tchmaker&shape=square&sortOrder=newest&page=1
and used Watch Faces to make my own as well as load from their pre made gallery.
The coolest is to take pictures of your kids with this program..

You can easily take screenshots if you have the Android SDK installed on your computer and Java.
Install the SDK and the necessary API for Android Wear, open the "Tools" folder and double click on Monitor.bat

i was able to get a screenshot by "Sharing" my own watchface and emailing it to myself. i really like this watchface because i can have "Large Cards" on the screen and still see the time date and temp.
also have done tests. if set to not "Always On" and not "Tilt to Wake" (have to touch it to wake it) i get 2 days easy with this watch face.
here's the watchface template you can import.
Screenshot on android wear
Most have android wear app installed. Look in the 3 dots at right of app. Options for a screen shot is there, but watch face has to be active(lit up).

Interesting and glad to hear that worked, although I was on KitKat as well. Happy ending with the mystery still unsolved I guess. Cheers
So far, Watchmaker has been "pretty good" in my opinion. I've quite frequently received errors stating that Android Wear has stopped responding. I only ever get that when using Watchmaker, and recently it's happened often enough that I started using Zooper with Wear Widgets. There's a similar interface to build your watch face but a bit more set up and it requires the purchase/installation of two separate apps and installation of a third (boo).
The upside... I've had NO errors with Zooper and Wear Widgets (you will likely need to restart phone and watch after install though, or you will have issues) AND the expressions seem more refined, with the calendar reflecting 12hr time correctly and next events for following days showing appropriately. Rich text boxes with expressions and carriage returns. Battery life is close to the same as with Watchmaker so it still is a bit of a drain, especially with all I've got going on on my watch face.
Drawbacks: It's just an image of the widget from your phone that updates every minute (or as often as you like, though anything other than a minute or less makes a clock almost worthless). Oh... and no watch battery indicator that I've been able to find, but I just swipe down to see that. The screen will dim but you don't appear to be able to tell it to only show certain elements.

Sorry for the delayed reply and thanks for trying out Tiled Watchface and for your feedback.
In itself the changes are small enough but I have to re-architect a portion of the drag-and-drop layout selection first before being able to implement those changes. Please be patient, I put them into my list and try to make the necessary changes as quickly as possible.
(I develop this in my spare time and it might take some time nevertheless...)
A new version of Tiled Watchface is out with several improvements:
- resizable tiles
- full complication support
- additional tile types.
Check it out on Google Play!
My two cents, is the latest version is just about perfect.
I have five complications running without an issue, asked for a Black, Black, White scheme and they supplied it.
Even though I use the Huawei 2 "Round", this digital watch face is no my favorite.
Wish the digital clock top center tile could be made bigger ? but I changed my Google Play rating to 5 stars.
Configuration tip, you need to configure the watch face from the Android Wear App "some other watch faces install apps on the Phone" this did throw me off for a bit.
A new and all around improved version is out. The main new feature is the the ability to add pre-configured screens and quickly change them on the watch:
Enjoy on Google Play
Just found out about this watch face. It's amazing in its usefulness and simplicity, and should be featured in all those "best Android Wear watchfaces" lists.
However... it crashes each time I try to click on an element to customize it (complication, allow the face to access the calendar, etc). It then defaults to the built-in "Simple" watchface and there's nothing I can do to use Tiled again, I have to uninstall it.

Hi,
as on the Sony SmartWatch 3 there is no Android Wear 2.0, i cannot use the complication-feature . So I am very sorry to request/ask again for a tile with phone battery. Is there any chance to get this? Maybe with phone and watch battery tiles with a phone/watch symbol? Would be realy great if possible (and not too much work).
Greetings

I got it to work, by uninstalling everything, reinstalling, going into the watch's app properties before using it and granting it permissions beforehand.
However, am I doing something wrong? I was under the impression that the watchface offered the possibility of multiple screens, a bit like a phone's launcher? This would offer a much quicker and easier way to access frequent apps. Try as I might, I'm only able to display one screen (plus another, dummy screen for ambiant if I want to).
Am I doing something wrong? Or is the app limited to one ambiant and one regular screen?
Also, one idea for future development could be to allow various tiles to have different colours. That would improve the look and readability tremendously.

Made a few watch faces. Do you like them? Do you guys have any requests?

Thanks, the cloud is a shortcut for weather widget. All of these watch faces are made in Gear Watch Designer using just the features provided in that program.

Hey, yes, it is possible. You need to make the watch face (for example in GWD) and then upload it on this page: seller.samsungapps.com/
You will need to set up an account fill a lot of stuff and upload the built watchface (.tpk) under binary section.
Since this thread is alive once again, I'll use this opportunity to show you the newer watch faces I made
I also tried to make a watchface. That works quite well so far. However, I do not find the weather widget in GearWatch Designer that was mentioned here. I would like to use that too. Someone a tip for me?

you need to make a button out of something. For example import image and then on then once you select it, click on the button in top right (three horizontal lines below the 'Always-On' button). Select 'Set as button'. Choose if you want it to activate on single or double-tap and the select the action- Weather
Thanks you, I already found that. Works well! The question was if there is something like an animated widget that changes depending on the weather. But that does not seem to be the case, right?

That is not possible in GWD. Maybe in future updates.

I just know that you can find speed under the "text" option. I read that there are supposed to be more options for GPS and gyro in the latest GWD update but I have not found out how to use them. Please let me know if you do find something out.

Have you been successful in using some of them? I managed to find a shortcut for the exercise app and apparently the timer app works as well but that's about it.
I believe the list is from the Gear 2. Not all of these are working on the Gear Fit 2. So far I've only used the timer.
If I find something new, I put it in here.
I use these a lot:
Alarm clock: com.samsung.alarm-volt
GPS menu: com.samsung.setting-location
WIFI menu: com.samsung.wifi
(I tried for a long time to find BT menu but no luck )
Stopwatch: com.samsung.stopwatch-band
Just found Brightness menu: com.samsung.clocksetting.brightness
