Hey Guys,
You may want to know about the performance of the extended battery from mugen 3600mah and from ebay so called 3600mah (white+red+yellow). Here is my observataion and just wanna share with you my feelings:-
I got a GS2 and a EVO3D, purchased one mugen battery and 2 ebay batteries for my GS2; also purchased 2 3600mah battery from ebay. they are from the same China manufacturer and thus the prices are similiar.
Outlook:-
The mugen cover is really awesome, fit and with imprinted figures, however if you use ebay battery, the mugen cover cannot fit in, its tailor made for its battery only!
The ebay cover is also fit to the body, surface smooth. u can use both ebay battery and mugen battery.
Performance:-
Mugen battery can last for 3x hours something with juice defender
Ebay battery can last for nearly 24 hours with juice defender
both are under heavy usage in internet browsing and texting
Price:- Buy 1 mugen can buy at least 8 ebay battery
Charging time:- Mugen battery takes longer to fully charge
i would say the battery from ebay is not fully 3600mah, i think its abt 3000mah, assuming mugen give you the true figures.
For me, I would no doubt to purchase evo 3d battery from ebay, and the finishing of the cover is top fit to evo 3d, make it more durable! and now my evo 3d can last at least 24 hours, for sure sufficient to heavy usage guy. someone said i'm taking a soap out, but for me, it shows much handsome and durable, its worth.
Buy 1 original htc 1730 mah battery can buy 4 3600mah ebay battery, why not?
Up Time is irrelevant really, as we don't know how the phone was used. To give everyone a better idea of the battery's performance, also post Awake Time along with Up Time.
Other important information is what rom/kernal you're using, and if you're overclocking, underclocking, etc...

Mike, you are right, i use stock rom from Taiwan, rooted, no overclock etc, I'm a user, test the 2 batteries under the same circumstances, same numbers of software, same user preference. my view is subjective enough. Trust or not is your call.
A universal way to judging batteries is screen on time..
How much hours was the screen on for each bettery in your tests?
Mugen is a rip. Way too expensive and didn't last as long as China 3500mah with smooth flat cover
I have been researching different aftermarket batteries and cases for about 3 weeks now. And i am ready to ask your opinion!!! what is the best aftermarket battery not only in size (mAh) but in brand as well
Things I'm considering: (protection + juice!)
- What are popular Battery w/ case combos
- Does any case fit well with the Hyperion 3500mAh battery?
I have herd the SGP Neo Hybrid Ex case does?
- Any other ideas that you have
- Weight of battery
- Protection
- The basics lol
Thanks for your time and input!!!
I currently own these cases:
otter-box commuter case
Case Mate PoP case
I would never purchase a non-recognized branded battery. Hyperion to me sounds sketchy.
I purchased the Mugen 3200 mah battery, and so far it's great. I can't tell you how much mah it really is, but I can tell you that I went from 60% to 18% in almost 3 days with heavy use, and a lot of syncing (fb, email, etc). For the 80 bucks I paid, it's definitely worth it to be able to use everything on my phone, and have it actually last. You can read my thread about it for more info.
I don't believe there is a case that will fit the phone, but there are definitely belt holsters, etc, you can get for it.
Battery > Case for me by FAR. Having the phone actually have battery means more than the case.
There are tons of battery threads. Read the reviews.

Can you post a pic of your bat stat usage.
I personally don't think I'll get a extended battery with this beautifully designed device but I'll leave this here for anyone who may be looking for one but don't want the complete bulk of the Zerolemon .. This one doesn't look to be quite as big  cheerz
http://www.amazon.com/Extended-Battery-Hyperion-Compatible-International/dp/B00NLJAEJO
And a different back plate which looks to be better for grip and maybe a little protection .. Is a Tpu case made for this battery style I believe http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PIBNMEM/ref=pd_aw_sims_3?pi=AC_SY230_QL60

Well I'm recently looking for reviews for this battery cover too. I'm very curious about the thickness of it since it seems the company did select a good angle to kind of make up a illusion of a slim design. And no case for the phone that is having this cover on, that's another problem
True. I'm curious about the same things .....

I ordered mine yesterday from Hyperion website for $24.99 (free shipping, no tax; $4.99 on Amazon). When I get it I will upload some pictures. Stock battery was good in G2, but G3 display is the biggest hog for me.
Received a battery today. I uploaded 3 pics just to show it to the public.
I also measured weight of the phone:
+ without battery: 114g
+ with OEM: 162g
+ with Hyperion: 208g
Now I'm going to measure battery life for a few next days.
I put 2 dimes and 1 nickel to show an extra thickness. Check at home
I'm a heavy user and after one day I can say that this battery is outstanding. Normally I had to charge my phone at least once during the day. With Hyperion I used only 1/3 of juice. It compensate an extra bulk
I don't use NFC, so lack of it is not a problem for me.

Do they have an extended battery case like they usually do.

Sweet review, I bought mine a few days ago can't wait to try it when it gets here
I don't really mind how thick or heavy my phone is as long as it's not ridiculous (like 5 pounds or an inch thick or more) so I got the zerolemon battery. I can't imagine this really saves THAT much space. But then again, with double the stock capacity, it should be useful in either case.
Can you put pictures of it on the phone?

So no reviews after few days of use? I see that this one is currently unavailable. Phone doesn't look that big with this cover.
Anyone else tried this battery?

I m from Germany and since hyperion don't ship to Germany i was looking for a alternative.
There are lot of companies that have the exact same battery whit cover. Just other brand.
In Germany there is for example "Akku King" or a no name company named "vbh".
I got the vbh battery because the one from "Akku king" was not in Stock.
The battery looks exactly like the hyperion. So far battery life is awesome!!! After 6 hours standby and approximately 3h screen time and some telefon calls i still got 72%.
Also the new cover and battery give you more grip. The phone doesn't tend to slip like whit the Orginal battery and back cover. I will add pictures from the phone with the backcover installed later.
You can order for example this one from Amazon com

Also that 7500mah battery I have bought from them before with my old note i717 and it didn't seem to last as long as it should ... I believe they aren't real 7500mah batteries .. Just my opinion... if you are going to buy a extended battery to should spend the money for the good ones :beer:
2SHAYNEZ
Yes you are right i also doubt that the battery had 7500mAh but 6000mAh for sure. Because it looks exactly the same like the other 6000mAh batteryd. The mugen is interesting but there is no silicon or tpu case for them available. Whit the 6000mAh battery you can at least mount a bumper for screen and edges protection.
But i m eager to read you're review on the mugen battery.

Also I had a conversation with mugen about how the att d850 version uses PMA technology to wirelessly charge so we will see what happens .... Thanks homie for your input

Hello I bought Zero lemon but can't use it, its TOOOO big, very uncomfortable, so I don't use it.
How is that battery for daily use, is that confortable?
Thank you!
Bought a bigger battery on amazon, specifically the MPJ® 6000mAh Li-ion High Capacity Extended Battery for LG G3. $30 on amazon with free shipping.
So far so good. Before, my poor stock battery would struggle to make it until the end of the day, despite only seeing moderate usage. Just made it through the day and only used 30%, where before it would have used around 80%. Need more days to sample usage, but today was promising.
And before everyone asks, yes phone is rooted and it's running greenify and it has been debloated.
I also had modified the back cover with the wireless charging sticker, and the bigger battery needs a bigger cover, so I lost wireless charging. Not a big deal though. Only con I have seen so far. Phone is a little bigger, but I haven't noticed that being a concern.
Cheers!
post some pics
Added bonus with the 6000 batteries is you can still fit an Otterbox Defender onto it albeit you can't use the belt clip thing (the retainer piece is on the back part of the Otterbox inner shell which you can't use).
Haven't used them for overly long but so far no unsupported battery warnings even through multiple swappings.
Here's the link to buy it on Amazon.com

Man, that must be a huge battery.
I have seen 3 battery case options. There is some cheap Chinese one all over Amazon and Ebay. It has different manufacture names but is completely the same.
The other 2 are the official one and the Mophie version. Is there anything in between? Not the cheap Chinese one for 25 or the expensive Mophie one for 100. Thanks
I have the official one - you can find them for under $60 on Ebay. It's great, no problems with it, does exactly what you'd want a battery case to do.

The wireless one? How much mAh does it lose during the charging, more or less than a wired one?
I received the mophie battery case about a week ago. With the case fully charged, and the phone also fully charged, I've gone exactly a full 48 hours without having to plug into a wall outlet (and there was still 10% left). It's a great battery case and well built. I do wish it was a bit thinner though, but I guess that's unrealistic since there needs to be a battery inside the case!
In terms of other options, Incipio has just released a battery case for the s7, and it's about 30 dollars cheaper than the mophie, but I don't think it has the wireless charging option like the mophie does. However, the Incipio has a significantly larger battery (3700mAh vs Mophie's 2950mAh). I'm contemplating whether to return the mophie and pick up the Incipio and save 30 dollars, since I don't have a wireless charger (I had ordered the mophie before Incipio has released their battery case).
Someone posted his thoughts on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS7/comments/4eruno/two_days_with_the_galaxy_s7_backpack_battery_case/ and I bought it too, its fine. Expensive but its well built and does a good job. I don't trust any of the chinese mAh specs so I wouldn't compare them without a real review...
I just bought the Incipio for its large battery size and slimness compared to other cases. Wireless charging is not really important to me as much as making my phone last the day! It's on it's way, so I'll let you know if its terrible/awesome. As a side note, I got 15% off with a code from the website, making it less than $60 in total.
I just received the Incipio one yesterday so I could compare it with the Mophie and decide which to keep. while the Incipio is well built, I had issues with the fit. Firstly, it was pulling up my screen protector in some areas. Second, the top frame that clips into place would not fit properly once the phone was actually installed. I can take pictures of the case itself, but since I don't have another camera I can't take pictures of the fitting issues.
Considering all this, I'd go with the Mophie. Going to be returning the Incipio

I own and have used one of the "cheap" Chinese battery cases. Over an extended Memorial Day weekend it served me well. I don't know whether the claimed 4200 mAh is accurate. What I can say is that during a day of heavy use while away from a regular electric supply, I never was in danger of running short. Nor did it add an uncomfortable weight. While the more expensive, name-brand battery cases may bring something extra to the table, I expect that, for the most part, battery cases have become a commodity item. Indeed, I've come to the same view regarding wireless charging pads.
Any suggestions regarding slimmest? It seems the thinnest one comes in at around 0.69in with 4500mah. I just want 2000mah. Anyone know of the thinnest battery case on the market?
According to me Mophie battery case is the best one. The 3300mah battery case can provide 60% extra battery to your samsung galaxy s7 edge.
I bought 2 of these battery cases from AliExpress. Claimed Mah is 5200,however from they manage to charge my phone from 0-85% with light usage. Which i'm satisfied with. I would've thought 5200 would've charged my phone completely and then some but the manufacturers claim is that transfer loss accounts for the remaining 25-30%.
I'm not complaining because they do the job for just $20 apiece. Anyone familiar with batteries who could confirm that due to transfer loss while charging a 5000mah battery will only charge a 3600mah phone to less than 100%.??

sounds like too much of a loss IMO.
Personally when I had my zerolemon extended battery for the S4 it was perfect. They're a great company. The 7500MaH is available for the s7 and i dont doubt it will give you ALL of that extra power. They have great customer service and are always willing to help where needed.
Has anyone tried one for their S7 yet? it looks pretty massive but then for an extra day or two of life on it, i could deal with that
i had a zero lemon one for my s3 it was great thinking of getting one for my s7 now

its now 20:40 and im on 100% battery and the case still has 3/4 bars charge left with heavy usage (you can turn the battery case on/off)

Is there any good comparison of the Mophie, Incipio or Zerolemon. I'd love to see some?
I ordered a Zerolemon, have had them in the past and have been good. I'll report back when I receive it and use it for a few days. 7500 us a good bit extra, should last me at least 2 days maybe 3 through the work week.
