Hey guys I'm trying to connect my g3 to dfs, I installed sever g3 drivers but no go I get the mtp but no diagnostic mode what's so ever I tried uninstalling and deleting the drivers but nothing works thanks in advance guys .
##DIAG# MSL ENABLE
Check if developers options are on, further USB debugging has to be on.
Under pull-down notification, set the phone to charge only when your USB cable is connected to a comp.
Check with different USB ports.
I have an LG L7 II Dual P715, and I was in 4.4.2 before, now I downgraded to Jellybean so that I'll be able to root it [I GOT THE KDZ FILE OF THE JB FIRMWARE FOR MY DEVICE FROM THIS LINK http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=21 ]. When I connected my phone to my laptop running windows 7 32-bit without turning on the USB Debugging yet and keep it in MTP connection, my phone got recognized immediately by the laptop (because i already had the drivers installed even before), but whenever I turn on the USB Debugging, when i connect it to my laptop, it just charges and it doesn't automatically enter the USB Connection Type where in i supposedly have to choose whether to use MTP connection or LG Software connection etc. unless I manually go to that section in the settings of the phone.
I have downloaded the driver of my phone. I even downloaded a universal driver of LG yet I still get the problem.
so basically, the problem is I CAN'T CONNECT MY PHONE TO MY LAPTOP IF IT'S IN A USB DEBUGGING MODE. I opened the Device Manager and I can't seem to find any trace of my device when it is in USB debugging mode Except if It is TURNED OFF.
What do you think is the problem with this? Is it my LG phone or the computer who has the problem? When I was in kitkat, I never experienced such issue, but when I flashed it back to JB, I cant rid of this problem anymore, PLEASE HELP, I badly want to connect my phone to the laptop while the USB Debugging is turned on.

If all you need is to root your device then you don't need USB debugging. You just need to use copy Framaroot's apk to your device and install it, and that you can do in MTP mode as well.

But what if for example I have to access the LG Mobile Support tool? (Although I don't need it right now, just in case) And it requires me a good working USB Debugging mode which is I really cant right now cause of a problem i dont even know how and why it exists, do you know how to solve it? Any idea?

Never had similar problems with the USB drivers nor needed LG's tools, so can't help you there.

Hi,
I installed the oneplus drivers and enabled usb debugging, but in my device manager it shows Android in yellow exclamation mark, and i also didnt get the RSA confirmation of USB debugging.
What to do?
Ok i solved the problem. Mod u can delete this please Thanks!
OK to start I rooted using LGUP with a rooted stock 20j ROM.
I eventually flashed the 20L update but went back to my 20j backup because I found it runs smoother.
My issue is that my laptop will not recognize my device via ADB/Fastboot. I've tried re-installing the LG drivers with no luck. I have several LG devices that are recognized this is the only one that will not be recognized.
Any help would be much appreciated.
hm, can you provide some extra info on what you have done? In general what you have to do in order to make it accessible is the following:
Enable Developer Mode
Enable OEM Unlock
Try "revoke USB debugging authorization"
And then reenable USB debugging and try again
Also try with another cable and try some other USB port in your laptop or PC.
Sometimes some USB ports wont recognise the device unless you do some procedure to uninstall the driver for the specific USB port. For now just try to change the port and the cable.

Hello,
I have a LG Zone 3 phone (Verizon) and I'm unable to connect it to the PC for ADB. It's running Android 5.1.1. My PC host is Windows 10.
So far I've managed to enable Developers Options and USB Debugging already. In storage settings the USB connection is set to MTP currently. Sadly when I connect the cable to PC nothing happens (I've tried connecting other devices to the PC to rule out the cable problem and they run just fine, so I'm guessing it's not the cable). I've tried to install different versions of drivers but none of them worked, list of files and tools I've already went through:
adb-setup-1.4.3.exe (LGAndroidDriver_WHQL_ML_Ver_1.0_All_Win7.exe, LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN36AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.6.exe)
Android_Fastboot__mini_ADB_Drivers.7z
LG USB Drivers All Phone For Windows.rar
LG_Mobile_Driver_v4.8.0.zip (LG Mobile Driver v4.8.0.exe)
LGBridge_Setup.exe
LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.8.0.exe
LGUP_Ver_0_0_3_23.zip (LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_3_23.msi + LGUP_Install_Ver_1_14_3.msi)
UniversalAdbDriverSetup.msi
Still no luck. I got so lost right now that I don't know how to proceed. Please help me figure out which drivers exactly I need to use for the ADB to work with this device.
