Hi, sorry for the ignorance , but would need to have the .314 version to install this rom? If so, I would like to know how to downgrade, I'm 17.1.2.A.0.323, thank you very much in advance

No...
You don't have to downgrade.
Niaboc added boot.img to ROM (kernel) and everything will be fine without downgrading.
You need to have working recovery on your current ROM, that's all.
Just restart to recovery, wipe everything and flash ROM.
There are reported problems with Aroma (symlink error at the end of flashing, if you get that error, don't restart, just flash again but this time only hit next all the time, don't change anything in Aroma)

You don't need to downgrade. Just apply the instructions in ROM's thread.
No need to downgrade or open a new thread if the steps are very clear.
Read again and understand !!

No need. If you read install instructions carefully you'll get your answer. Just flash it by the book and the rom will brilliantly do all the work for you!

As you can see, the later one requires an unlocked bootloader. So you need learn how to unlock first. It's easy, and Sony has official guides on their website. All is easy after unlocking bootloader. Hope you got it!

Actually I lost the steps/procedures I followed when I unlocked, rooted, and installed this custom rom i have. So what I did was to look under my memory bank but unfortunately, I just recalled a few. Of course, there was no more unlocking of bootloader and rooting(flashmode) done because it was already unlocked and rooted during my first update/installation, I just wipe cache, dalvik-cache and wipe date/factory reset using cwm recovery. After that, I flashed the JB ROM still using cwm recovery, reboot it on recovery and wipe cache, dalvik-cache and wipe date/factory reset then reboot. My phone restarted but only up to the sony custom rom logo. Can you please help?

Meaning after the incident of not rebooting of my phone, what I should do was flash stock rom using flashtool then install the custom rom via recovery?
first flash stock *.ftf file using flashtool then boot it first so that it becomes stable then again root your phone and install any cwm recovery you want then enter cwm make all the wipes that are given in the tutorial then flash the rom and then reboot

Yes sir! I think I should repeat the procedures again and again until I could figure out the right and the best way to install this custom rom.
For any help, I am still accepting it. For now, maybe trial and error is the best way possible.

Keep in mind that ROM makers don't have means to test too many situations, so they have tested it in one way the know it would work, anything that have not not been tested would probably fail.

Hi,
I have used this rom for almost a day now. There are no bugs whatsoever. It is really stable. Didn't notice any battery drains either. best suitable for a daily driver.
About, the bootloop issue, try to reflash the rom again according to the instructions in the Rom Thread.
Wipe data, Wipe cache, Wipe dalvik, Format System and flash rom. Don't flash any patches provided in the thread. Since the rom is pre-rooted, i dont think you need to flash the stock rom using SP flash tools and then flash this rom.
P.S.: I used TWRP recovery to flash this. Not CWM. Try flashing the ROM using TWRP.
Cheers!

Could you upload it with something else (for example https://mega.co.nz or http://d-h.st/) because I don't have a premium acount on speedy share, and I dont want to bloat my computer with their download assistant .exe file...
What kind of fw is this? Generic Europe? Generic Global?
Thanks for sharing!
could anyone confirm this one ?
Thank'd.
Btw, how do you make the kernel only ftf? I know how to make a full ftf and extract the kernel.sin from it. Then how to make the ftf from it? Or.. any other way? Thanks in advance.
any other link ?
because i dont have premium account.

I don't think so. I have flashed a few cooked (current) ROMs with .254 rooted + CWM. What matters is having CWM to flash the ROM which comes in zip files...In fact, I had to downgrade to .254 in order to root + CWM to flash
so to correct my understanding
ROM in OP is pre-rooted but Kernel in OP is stock kernel without root?
Exactly what are the changes in this FW
I mean geez Sony only put -_- battery improvements, software enhancements and are really very generic changes
thanks

No, At least they should've given the exact things they fixed liked the "App Installation Animation is fixed" instead of saying "Various System Improvements". It seems so general

Did you change anything in the ROM apart from rooting it? There are some files missing compared to my german .201 version. I don't know if there are more files than the bloatware ones, it was just a short look into it.
anyone experience unknown baseband and wifi problem after flashing?
Good day,
I have this Sony Xperia Z2 D6503 currently on Android 4.4.4 using 23.0.1.A.0.167 mobile phone which I am having trouble flashing, I have unlocked the boot-loader. I have flashed a custom Rom on this phone before, using suggestions that I have read on the Xda-Developers site. I reverted back to stock Rom after a while, because the custom Rom I flashed had issues with network service signal, and it began to restart the phone on it's own. I have found a good Rom and I am trying to flash this but it doesn't work. I followed all the steps like what I did in the first successful flash. I downgraded the stock Rom, rooted the stock Rom, installed CWM recovery, the exact same way as the first. Also I ensured that the MD5 number is a match and the Rom still won't flash, even tried TWRP recovery. It kept showing bad file. Is it possible that my boot-loader got re-locked when I reverted back to stock Rom using flash-tool. And how can I resolve this problem so that I can go back to flashing successfully.

Thanks for all the help. I was able to finally flash the ROM. I just started all over from scratch, flashed ftf .167 with Sony flash-tool. Then rooted. Installed CWM recovery. Tried to flash kernel with recovery, that didn't work. So I just tried flashing ROM directly without wiping anything and it went thru. was very surprised. By the way it was eXistenZ Ultimate | 4.5.0 ROM.
Thanks developers at XDA:angel::good:
Hi,
I have a Sony Xperia Z2 D6503 with Android 4.4.4 KK already rooted.
Now I would like to upgrade my Android to the latest available stock Rom without losing root, DualRecovery or my data, in order to be able to use Magisk.
Could you tell me the best way to do that?? I assume I have to create a pre-rooted Firmware and upgrade through DualRecovery. How would I do that??
Thanks so much for your help in adavnce!

There is no need to flash anything else just download the the customization you want(like Mena Arabic for persian language)and there is almost zero different between them
And flash it through recovery and there is no need for fix many times but if you got stuck in bootloop just flash the bootloop fix : https://mega.nz/#!AJcwERiQ!FUmk6eS5aoVsFSZ1f4WZIELIt7sckPCj11n0AIdCNzU
Okay thanks so much, this is what I thought. Download the zip, install via Recovery and thats it. Perfect
