Hi, this is Genie's.
I'm going to show you this wonderful ROM, Daydream.
I knew that there's ported Daydream 1.5, but this 1.8 was builded by Korean Builder, Meo(

What's changed from Daydream 1.5 to 1.8:
- The Latest CM Source
- Added Daydream Own Boot Animation
- Default Wallpaper Changed
- Enhanced Functions

What doesn't work:
- Same with CM11 bugs. (Camera, Flashlight etc...)
- If you choose another CM theme, some menues in Settings will be go up to status bar, and you can't select those menues.

I can't certain that G70 could be Daydream 2.0 Official Device, because I sold it to my friend...(I was the tester.)
If you could be a tester without blaming us because of being brick, we may be able to make G70 official device.
This ROM was tested in my G70.

Yes I agree with you its very smooth, no lags over clocked up to 1.32ghz..the only thing I noticed is that the tinted status bar doesn't work sometimes/change colors with few apps

Tinted Status Bar isn't applied in all apps.

Can't get it to boot, flashed rom and gapps then the dalvik patch then francos kernel and cannot get passed google screen. Anybody else or is it just me?

Try just the rom and gapps without franco or dalvic patch, then you kind find out if it is the rom or something you added on

and i found issue for hammerhead -- be fixed in a moment and i'll re-trigger the jenkins job for it for you guys. been on campus all day and missed some new commits that came down the pipeline :cyclops:

This doesn't help my flashaholic disease. New ROMs lol. I remember you guys because ye brought omni finally to the s4 jfltexx first now I swapped s4 for this off some poor soul will flash and report back.
Do I need to flash supersu or is it rooted?

This rom is clean and swift, folks. For those looking for a terrific starting point for KitKat, the rom is excellent.
There are some great apps included out-of-the-box, like ES File Manager, Wanam, and others. These come in handy, and you'll appreciate having them included.
Oh, and the boot animation is an awesome thing.
In sum, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
As an added bonus, I encourage all to hop on over to the T-Mobile dev forum, and have a look at the support this fine dev provides his users. You'll see a dev that is quick to respond, open to suggestions, and has an innate decency that is palpable.

I have tried to research this D thing, I can find nothing, looks to me that it is the same build I have....

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
BY LINARO, I MEAN GLOBAL "-O2 -fstrict-aliasing".... we didn't just switch toolchains. Here at Team Vanir, WE GO HARD.
I created this thread with the permission of Dave Kessler, one of the lead devs for Vanir Rom. This is not my work, rather the awesome effort of the Vanir Team. If you feel like donating, donate to the team, not me. I am not a dev in any way shape or form. Calling me a dev is like calling Mark Sanchez a quarterback. The goal of this thread is to help users with issues, and just talk in general about anything really.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

Gapps - Vanir recommends the latest goo.im gapps or DHOs gapps
Issues:
- Flash CAF-Based Kernels with this ROM
- stop flashing the moto X binaries. they do not improve anything for you and aren't even for your device.
- open source camera and launcher3 do not have the same featuers as the google versions. use the latest
banks standard gapps if you'd like these. His gapps are super legit and always up to date.

Issues arose, I'd prefer not to talk about them because no one really knows the whole story. All I know is that Dave let me create this thread to discuss the rom etc..

I believe DHO is a themed and modified version of Vanir

My Favorite!!!
Been through the rounds of ROMs for or device and I always come back!!! So thanks for the amazing ROM! Vanir to me seems so stable and never seems to be hiccups! And also just seems down right freaking fast lol! What you see is what you get!
