Hello there!
So I sold my S3 Mini and the buyer asked me to fix his phone. The first problem was that it was stuck in a bootloop and the EFS couldnt be mounted. I got that working and it now boots up normally. Now the problem is that I cant connect to my wifi and it says no service on my cellular. It detects my sim because when I booted it up it asked for the sim lock password.
Another problem is that my Windows wont detect the phone. But it's charging normally. It detected my previous S3 Mini before with no problem. I've even flashed CM11 on it then flash the stock firmware without any problems.
To clarify here are my problems :
1. Cant connect to wifi
2. No service
3. Windows wont detect the phone
The main reason I want it to detect to my phone is to use Odin to flash the stock firmware again. I've tried Mobile Odin but it kept saying to download and install the addons when I've already installed them. Mobile Odin v4.2 if you're wondering. I've also installed the drivers for everything and it wont detect. Thanks for your help.
Sounds like efs is corrupt, try another usb lead to connect to pc, shorter is better.

Any way to fix it? I got the wifi to work by flashing the stock firmware with Mobile Odin. My IMEI is also not correct.
Restore your efs backup.

Hi all,
I hope somebody will reply immediately. I wanted to upgrade my Gf's phone to a new firmware update.
The upgrade process got stuck at 22% while downloading and the power went off.... KIES said that i should run emergency recovery....
Now when i turn on the phone i get a sign of a mobile phone connected to a PC with an exclamation mark.
What can i do ? my questions are the following..
1 is there a way to unbrick and how?
2 i had backed up all the contacts and information ? are they saved because i do not want my gf to lose all her photos and information?
Guys help.. nobody can save me from the woman's wrath.
Remove battery for a minute. Put battery back in. Put device in download mode. Use Odin to flash firmware.
Use search function to find out how to do anything you don't understand above.
here is the pic i get
a mobile phone a triangle/exclamation point and a PC!

Did you bother to read and do anything from the post above?
i did... it cannot get into download mode..
What did you do when you try to get into download mode?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
OK i got into download mode and through KIES i am now in EMERGENCY RECOVERY...
the problem that it is stuck at 16% for over 5 minutes now. is that normal?
shall i use KIES or ODIN to flash the normal firmware?
also where i can find my gfs data that i backed up in my PC?
Look at the settings in Kies where you backed up the data to.
Is the blue bar on the phone moving? I don't use Kies to flash my device because I don't trust it.
Ok, it seems as if you want to do things your way so good luck with Kies.
Hi all,
When I was on ICS, my USB connection is okay, after flashed to JB 4.1.1 (i9300XXDLH7) is not recognized anymore. Please refer to the print screen pic. I cannot go back to ICS via Odin.
I've try to another computer but still the same issues. Also, I've try to install Samsung's USB driver here (https://androidfirmwares.net/Tools/Download/9)

If you have Kies uninstall it and re install if you dont have it install it, then plug in your phone and see if the drivers install correctly it worked for me last time I had a problem similar to this
I just install Kies and try as you advised, still not working, here are the exact error here. Any more ideas?
Some suggestions here:
-Try different usb cables and port.
-Turn off your phone and take out battery for a few minutes.
-Hope you have nandroid backup your ICS rom, restore back your backup.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Uninstall the devices manually in device manager, don't forget to tick the "delete the driver ' option, now restart your pc and install the drivers either from online or through kies
《tapatalked from galaxy s3》
Problem solved!
I try few thing here:
1. Uninstall Kies, turn off my laptop
2. Install Kies.
3. Restart my SGS3
4. Use new USB cable (old connection still recognized by HTC sensation)
I'm not sure which one if the right problem but I try the above steps and it's working now.
Thanks for the suggestions and advised.
Cheers,
imkr
Just install the s3 root kit ith drivers onto your computer, you not have to root your hone, just use the drivers to get it to recognise your phone

Well, KK has a few bugs on this device and I thought about downgrading to JB using LG Flash Tool. At 80% the USB cable just broke and the device just turned off (the battery was at 100%) and I wasn't able to go into Download mode again.
But, when I connect my phone to my pc (through a new USB cable), i can see my phone in Device Manager:
So I suppose the motherboard is not dead.
What can I do to revive it?
Could a JIG or this (I'm asking about this one as I don't have any factory ROM backup, and it will be hard to get one) work?

Hi! First i'm sorry for my bad english
I must repair a s5830i, but i don't find a way.
it's go in boot loop when i turn on it, logo-->boot animation-->logo-->at infinite.
Hence i will flash a new stock rom, but when i link the smarthphone at pc(w7) odin ( v3.07 or v1.84) don't
detects the phone.
I have install the samsung driver and i also tried kies but but without results, odin don't detects the phone.
(an other phone like s6 is normally detects).
Therefore how can I do to make it recognize?
( if my english is very bad and you don't understand it, please tell me)

I'm so happy, you can close the thread
So I have this phone Xiaomi Redmi 10X, and I wanted to put Pixel Experience 11.0 in it, after seeing this thread on GitHub.
To my surprise, following steps on that link was not that easy!
I flashed MIUI 22.1.19 manually (not in the correct way), and I ended up with a hard bricked phone.
Yesterday, while Googling about that, I managed to run into a tool called MTKClient v2.0

and it solved my problem, by flashing original firmware and got it correctly working with the default MIUI 13 system.
BUT, that wasnt enough for me, because I still wanted to put Pixel Experience in it since I like it so much and think it is so sexy!!! So I, without knowing what I was doing, erased all the partitions in my phone with that tool.
Now, I cant get it to connect to that tool to work or connect with my device. On the cmd behind though, I do get some hope after seeing that device is still recognized in some way, but that's all there is to it, it doesnt go further, only "Phone detected: Reading model info".
I've tried to wait and keep both volume buttons pressed at the same time, but to no avail.
Since this, I've tried several tools but none is working to reset my partition table to original state, since I think that's my problem.
Any idea how to fix it?

No. What is that?

Even if it connects, it shows no partitions to write over.
What it needs, is to first restore the erased partitions, I think, and then writing (flashing) the firmware into it.
