And I was looking forward to get good Audio in it. And is it deodexed rom so that I could even flash Dolby? Thank you. Your Help would be appreciated. custom rom or editing official

should i try to flash a custom rom or edit the official wan? i wan my phone to have good speed, eyecandy n good batery life.. i wan to try energy rom but i scared this brick my phone.. would flash a custom rom bricked the phone easily? anyone help pls
I've done both tweak the stock rom and then flashed a custom rom (energy stand 23xxx series) and to be honest i prefer the custom roms over tweaked stock, mainly because i find the energy roms to be more stable, even though i'm using a rom based around winmo 6.5.3.
It's actually not that easy to brick your phone but i would advise you do all the related reading first and i would also suggest you start off by tweaking the stock rom before you flash a custom one. It will give you the opportunity to learn what works and what you like first.
At the end of the day the choice is yours and your fellow users can only make suggestions on the direction you should take
i have been editing stock rom since long ago, n i knw wat i want so i decided to flash an energy rom soon.. thx =)

custom/modified rom for mt/mtk 6575 phone and some question

Hi guys, I'm new in this forum.
I would ask some question... I have buy a few days ago a clone of SGS3, maybe the better clone ever made. Equal cover(i use an original cover on the clone), equal battery, microsim, brand (front, back, battery, battery compartment, start and off), equal theme etc... Have a good hardware, I play on this phone with many game like subway surfer or gta vice city without problem... Now I would make a custom rom for this device, for me is a good phone and deserves a good custom rom to fix small problem and improve the performance (on the antutu 2.9 the score are about 11 thousad, antutu 3, about 5 thousand). For start, which are the things to make/modify a rom? Is possible to backup the original rom to modify that without problem? Now I don't remember other question XD
Thank you all and thank you for the answers...
yes, you need the phone rooted
Yes, you need the phone rooted, have a copy of your rom via CWM recovery and check if your device is AOSP based (no idea what that means) there are many threads about how to port your rom into a custom rom (CNM9 and Paranoid Android)

Need help with LP ROM

Hello friends. Currently I an on aicp ROM and its by far the most stable ROM with a good battery backup I ever tried.
Want to flash some new ROM so want suggestion from some members which have already tried most of the ROMs available. I want to flash a LP ROM which is feature rich and provide a good battery backup.
Also please tell which ROM has best battery backup in any combination with custom kernel.
Additionally, it would be really helpful, if someone could tell me a kitkat ROM name also with better battery backup.
Thanks in advance.
BTW, if this topic is not good to be discussed here, then please PM me your replies.
Thanks again.[emoji4] [emoji4]

Hey! My device runs on CM 12.1 in combination with FenomenalMOD kernel. Even though the ROM is released in nightly version, there are no major bugs to worry about. In 1 month of usage, I haven't experienced any lag or battery drain.

Any good custom ROM for a116i?

I've been using fa1zali's MIUIv5 ROM for over an year now. The ROM is pretty good, but for some time now, I've been struggling with issues related to less available internal memory (as all apps get installed on internal memory) and RAM (something broke after last update) and battery (Phone network consuming battery like a hog).
Thus, I decided it's time to update the ROM, and came here to find a suitable ROM. But it seems virtually all ROMs have issues with a116i (either camera won't work or something else). So, need to get opinion of other a116i users, if there is a ROM which is working alright for them? Going back to the stock ROM doesn't seem to be a feasible option from here.
Try touchwiz and lthemed ROM done by sai and well two xperia ROMs u can find easily well m also in search for ROMs if u find anything say me plz

Searching a stable, not so much battery consumption, nice custom rom

could someone be so nice giving me a tip for a custom rom which is Android 4.4+ that is very stable and have long accu time.
it must not have the ultra super future functions and must not be the latest. Also don't need super kernel tuning switches.
At the moment i'm on 4.3 rooted stock rom and the features are fine for me.
Need only a newer rom for playing pokemon go
thanx Michael
