my son has a generic android tablet which he uses mainly to watch videos on long journeys, he turned it on yesterday morning and the word "Demo" in big red letters was on his screen, now i have tried everything to remove it, a factory reset a complete wipe etc etc but still no joy, has anyone got a fix for this or is it totally knackered? can someone please advise as my son is distraught. many thanks in advance of help

Hi This is the very first time I ask here. This is the problem: A friend of mine have just bought a chinese tablet that does not seem to have any brand and / or manufacturer. In the back it has printed: Android powered, and the most close to a manufacturer that it has printed is a sticker which says "Techlab", and a code bar under it. I don't know why, but it doesn't look as a manufacturer (i googled it and i found nothing)
So, he made a factory reset and, after it rebooted, it got stuck in the black screen with the Android logo which says "Factory reset, please wait) and it's been on that by 5 hours so long.
Does anyone have an idea about how to solve this? I would appreciate it. Bye.
Hey guys Im new to the forum, and new to android and I really need help. I bought an HTC one m7 today, used off kijiji, and it came with cynogenmod. While unrooting my phone and installing the stock firmware everything went smoothly until the end, I followed the guide, locked the oem, and installed from the rue file. I have a rogers htc one btw. After everything finished I went through the activation and to my disbelief my touch screen was barely working. It kept randomly clicking things in the middle, and I thought maybe after I restarted my phone it would be fixed. I restarted it, hard reset it, and even reinstalled from the ruu and it still isn't working. I figured if I was to reinstall cynogenmod than it would start working again, because before I uninstalled cynogenmod it worked perfectly. Can someone please help me because right now I want to cry like my phone is so hard to use right now, I can't even swipe down the notification bar. I've tried googling everywhere and I've found nothing. I've been trying to fix this for the last 4 hours
and guys it was perfect before I tried to unroot it, it was after that that all this started. Its a rogers HTC one, and the screens just going crazy like random apps keep opening and when i press back they open again. Does anyone know what I should do, I literally just bought this phone
Hello there. 3 days ago i bought used Galaxy S2. Everything was good untill now. Ive got an sms message and i wanted to check it soni unlocked my screen and suddenly my screen went crazy. It starts to "touch himself"(that sounds bad) and i couldn't do anything. Only locking and unlocking the screen was a solution. Now it happens even more often. I reinstalled android already, wiped data and cache and still nothing. Probably the solution is to change digitalizer or something but i just want to know: What is causing this issue? So I was just watching a youtube video on my tablet, suddenly, my device froze before me.
The only solution to this was to force reset my tablet, but after the force reset, my tablet got stuck in a bootloop.
I tried hard resetting, still in the boot loop. I removed my sd card too.
My tablet can't flash anything whatsoever, no recovery(yes it does have recovery, but it can only perform hard reset) and no bootloader.
Please help, my tablet is my only way to support my life(just kidding btw)!
P.S. Don't ask me to get help from my supplier, that useless good for nothing rascal has no education on manners whatsoever.
I tried to get help from him already, he just ignored me, the last time I tried, he talked to me in a very rude attitude!

Hey everyone!
A while ago I dropped my S2 and never really bortherd trying to get the data of the device but today I figured I might aswel try. There is one major problem though.
I know the phone still works because the bottons light up and it makes sounds when I start it up, but the screen is black and wont fuction. I have connected it to my PC but I cant access the data because its locked
Any idea on what to do next?
