SOLVED
Installed gmail and gtalk back and cleared all data/cache of google related services/apps
I removed a few files with root manager and now when I boot up I get this message the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I also cannot download apps. It hangs at “Downloading”
I did pull all the apk and odex files to my comp before removing.
Update
I reinstalled gmail and cleared data/cache for most google apps and it fixed the pop up part. I had to relogin to my google account but im still unable to download anything.
Update 2
I reinstalled gtalk and now when I start the market app I get a process com.android.vending force close error.
where can I download gTalk?
how can you reinstall gmail? I have same problem with the gcalendar.
gtalkservice
All you need is to reinstall gtalkservice.apk.
You google for it.
permanent solution
I tried all of these and it still pops up....should I just re install everything?
I know this is solved however, i'm on an Epic 4g Touch and it kept flashing these errors. It will take you forever to click ok on each one and at the same time trying to get to Menu Settings ... I just pressed power+Volume up buttons till the Galaxy logo came on and chose Factory wipe and Wipe cache..all is great now.
I simply cleared data that had anything to do with Google and that fixed it.
Clear data from Google service framework and all other Google related apps n services... if you need to remove and install restart then it should be fine...

I solvede it by removing browser sync from Settings --> Google --> Account --> Browser.
As I use Dolphin Browser as default browser, synchronization cannot recognize it.
I think mine got fixed when I disabled google sync contacts... whoever has com.google.process.gapps error persistent even after trying everything.. go to accounts > google > synch all and you'll where the error occurs just disable sync for that and it wud work.. I'll let you know if the error returns at my end.
help
i am getting "unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" whenever i "sync all" and then try to do something
i am running viperone 3.1.0 RC2
tried erasing app cache
anyone any ideas? i am currently downloading the gapps android 4.3 package should i flash that???

A Couple Issues
I will tag onto the need help thread here and hope someone is familiar with these issues. I have Greenify and the donation package installed. I have had it working well before. Now when I open Greenify I get only the screen that lets you select the mode and the experimental features.
I uninstalled it via TiBU and reinstalled the backup with the same result. I uninstalled via TiBU (could not uninstall via the Android App Mgr. It was grayed out. I reinstalled via the play store - had to do via PC because I can't install from the phone for some reason. I get the same result. Only can see the single screen. Also, Greenify is not asking for root and does not show as having root permission in SuperSU (2.49) . I have rebooted, wiped cache and dalvik, and still have the same issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have version 2.6.2. It had been working in the past. It would sometimes get stuck on the same screen, but I could always get it to go to the main screen for hibernating by reopening.
I installed 2.7 Beta 2 and got the hibernate screen. Then when I rebooted it went back to the same problem.
I figured out that I had to remove administrative rights to uninstall, so I did that, uninstalled, reinstalled 2.7 beta 2 and it asked for admin rights and has them, but still I cannot access the hibernate screen after rebooting. So it seems to work okay until I reboot. I am running the latest Xposed for LP 5.0. I also uninstalled and reinstalled from the play store 2.6.2 (via PC) and I could not access it either through exposed or through the app drawer. I then enabled Greenify in Xposed and rebooted and still it is the same. I may have to remove and reinstall Xposed.

Go to SETTINGS>Device Administrators and uncheck Greenify. Then to SETTINGS>Accessibility and switch off Greenify. Then uninstall Greenify the usual way, not through TiBu. Reboot.
Then try to install Greenify from Play Store or download the apk and install. Enable Greenify in Xposed. Enable Greenify in Device Administrators and Accessibility. Reboot, not soft reboot.
Then open Greenify and see whether you are able to access all the features.
You have root and Xposed, I hope.
Thanks

Reflashed the ROM. Had other strange stuff going on.
I am unable to install the application "WeChat". I can install and uninstall all other apps except for this one. I can't even recover it from titanium backup or install it using an apk. Google Play store gives me error 504. I've tried all the solutions from Google and none of it has worked. Does Xposed have to do anything with this?
The 504 error code appears while attempting to download apps or games in the Google Play Store. This is a gateway timeout error and is generally associated with slower internet connections or mobile data networks. Simple fix that worked for some is turning your mobile data off and then back on. You can try it now by turning your Airplane mode on and then off or by going to settings >> data usage >> turn off Mobile data and turn it back on. Now try to download or update the app via Google Play. If that didn’t work, some users have even solved the Google Play Store error 504* by freeing some space in their android device by uninstalling unwanted apps or games.

It seems like that specific app has been blocked somehow. I uninstalled Xposed and I was able to install it again. I reinstalled xposed and the app doesn't have access to the storage and system

Installed Greenify for the first time last night on my rooted Nexus 6 running CM13 12/25 nightly.
After installing, I hibernated a few apps (instagram, twitter, google maps). I turned the phone off and next thing I know it automatically rebooted by itself. Upon restart, SIM card error occurred and of course no mobile data or cell phone service. Restarting the phone did not fix the issue. Uninstalling the program fixed the issue. Any ideas?

Which version of Greenify are you running and in which mode?
Do you have the donation package?
Did you enable GCM service or Aggressive Doze?
Have you installed Xposed?

Greenify v2.7.1 (the newest version on the play store)
Not sure which mode -- whatever mode is default. The SIM card error occurred before I had a chance to even play with settings.
Not donation package.
Did not enable GCM service or Aggressive Doze -- like I said, didn't have a chance to even mess with settings.
Did not install Xposed -- it didn't mention having to install Xposed in the playstore description, so I didn't -- is it necessary?

CM13 seems to have issues with a few apps. May be the current beta of Greenify 2.8.beta7 may solve your issue.
Default mode depends on your root status. If you are unrooted, it is 'non root', if you are rooted, it is 'root'.
Xposed is not mandatory for Greenify but when enabled in Xposed, Greenify gets some more options to play with like hibernating system apps.

Sorry I didn't realize what you meant by mode -- it was in "root" mode.
Maybe I'll try out the beta version, thank you!
I get my Mate 10 (L29 from Singapur) and install the 119 update over OTA, factory reset and start to install my apps (no backup/clean install).
First of all I can not install some games over Google Play, like Clash of Clans or Radiant.
Clean Google Play storage 2x and it works, so I can install what I want.
Than I can not run some apps, like PayPal so I make again a factory reset but this time over the recovery. After factory reset I install all apps which don't work. PayPal work, Tutanota work, AquaMail work but again a lot of games "is not compatible with this device", like Clash of Clans. Clean storage from Google Play and I can install anything.
So, after this anything works but it stop after some time. I do nothing, no reboot, no installation, don't change anything on the phone and AquaMail stop working. When I open a mail I can see anything, just not the message (white screen). Tutanota stop working, I click on the Icon, saw the logo and than just a grey screen. Sometimes (after reboot) I get now this application error: https://picload.org/view/drcollla/img_20171127_102900.png.html
The strange thing is I do nothing. I use my Mate, open Tutanota and AquaMail and after this no reboot, no new installation, nothing change on the system, dont connect it ro anything but the apps stop working.
Nobody?

Anything works :/
In my case the same issue was caused by turning off automatic power management for Chrome which was connected with disable Android WebView. So maybe that will be helped for all of you who will get that strange issue.

Thanks a lot for your help. It worked perfectly.
Anyone still having this problem,
Install 61.0.3163.98 version of Android system webview and push it as system app using titanium backup.
