I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before but this app is perfect for changing your DPI with out going in to alter your build.prop. The lowest you can go is 540 DPI don't go below or you will get force closes. I'm personally using 550 DPI.

Thank you for pisting this, was getting frustrated with the 640, and was a little nervous to flash anything just yet, even with TWRP

Main reason is that its set for 640 stock, which makes the icons much bigger, but also plays with other things as well. The reasons i wanted to change it were for some of my games looked funny, and trying to run XDA on it was doing some annoying overlap thing. Both were fixed by the change to 540.

The Xposed module called App Settings also allows you to change dpi, but instead of changing it system wide you can change it on a per app basis. It's very handy if you're only looking to tweak certain things.
Since I changed dpi am I not gonna get updates on my apps now from the play store?
Edit: Nevermind I found a dpi faker in xposed.

If you are using Xposed, your aren't going to get updates.
Xposed changes the framework and a change in the framework blocks OTA updates.
You updates will now fail even if they download.
If you root and install Xposed, don't attempt to take updates until you return to stock.
My DPI is 520 and its running perfect.
Pac-man ROM 4.4.4
I'm on a stock ROM and the OP said below 540 will cause force closes. I'm gonna take his word for it. 540 is more than fine and don't really wanna waste time making a nandroid right now.

Yea so I switched between 320 and 240...it seems google took out 240 support with this update. Oh well, the older version was working well enough for me anyways.
I know it sounds snobby or whatnot but it really is hard to go back to 320 after a week at 240...

Off topic, but what I did as a compromise was stay at 320 dpi, then used an app called Big Font to set the system font to 75%.

If ones available, point me in the direction and the bounty is yours!
I don't think its possible without porting stuff
It's not easily possible since the keyboard requires LG framework, which current L doesn't have. The smartest thing to do is wait till we get the official 5.0 update.
I realize it will be released soon. Just tired of the current options. Really like that darn keyboard.
Once the lollipop comes out by lg I will TRY to upload
---------- Post added at 02:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:23 AM ----------
You can try this its the google keyboard with a number row (like the g3 keyboard) heres the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/lollipop-keyboard-phones-root-t2910268
Also I didn't make this

If you want the number row download the "123" verison.
Thanks for the heads up. I didn't find that link. With all the searching I did between Google and XDA, you figure I would.

Well if that didn't work the lollipop 123 keyboard should work I use it everyday and I think there are themes for it.
I have tried it, didnt work for me thats why I stuck with the keyboard from above it works and has the number row(like lg keyboard) and if you find a blacked out theme then it could be LIKE the lg keyboard

These are a LOT of themed keyboards maybe one will come CLOSE I found some that did, but you might find one that is a little closer to what you want also if you pick the one with the numbered row and set the them to "Holo blue" its really close to the lg one. Other wise I don't think that that there is a port as of right now.
Here what it looks like Its a little close and then heres the apk View attachment Lollipop+123+Keyboard+1.1.apk

These apps you will need to change back to stock: 640

com.sec.android.gallery3d.panorama360view
com.sec.android.ofviewer
com.sec.android.sviewcover
com.sec.phone
contacts
gallery
incallui
com.android.mms
phone
photo studio
s health
samsung camera filter
touchwiz home
video trimmer
not changing some can cause it to not function properly or FC
Gallery and touchwiz home work fine on my note 4 with the DPI changed though.

Hi there. I have installed swift black and running smoothly. Currently no problems. Well, maybe some problems, but only with google apps, all you need to do is to not install overlays for google drive, google docs/slides/sheets, play store. And that's it. working like a charm for me.
Edit
Oh well, I've forgotten something. For the overlays to work you need to deactivate Google Play Protect. Yo can do so by going to Settings>Google>Security>Google Play Protect and just turn it off, then restart after installing theme overlays.
