Anyone know what happens to my xperia ?? - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi all, I have a problem with my xperia x10 mini E10i. I had a problem of signal change rom. The phone does not recognize the simcard, and gets no signal.
I read on different forums that the solution is to downgrade the phone to 1.6 and then upgrade again to 2.1
So I did, I did downgrade to 1.6 and then I upgraded to 2.1 with sony pc companion.
But the problem is not solved. Still does not recognize the simcard.
I think everything is correct:
Model: E10i
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Base band: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-XXXXXXXX
Kernel version: 2.6.29 SEMCUser @ SEMCHost No. 1
compile version: 2.1.1.A.0.6
Anyone know what happens to my phone? I have done what is said in the forums, but still not working. Could be broken sim reader? Or is not normal that the reader is broken?
thank you very much

The problem is fixed!!

Big poblem...New android (2.1) old baseband and other.

I have an Xperia X10i UK device (no brand)
I'm italian user (WIND)
I root 1.6 android, changed SEUS code to nordic ones, and use SEUS to gain 2.1
All perfect.
After 10 days i start to have little problem like sending sms problem and internet connection that not work
I reinsert UK no brand SEUS CODE (2.1 rooted) and use repair with SEUS
My problemi now is
Firmware version: 2.1 update 1
Baseband version: 2.0.46
Build Number: 2.0.A.0.504
Kernel version: 2.6.29
normally i read that Build is R2BA026 or 023 or 020.....but i see this damned 2.0.A.0.504
and baseband 2.0.46 seems also strange to me
any suggestion on what i must do to obtain normal and updated build?

Then? All normal? Or i must find a way to change baseband or other?
Now only 1 issue...if i use only gsm connection i can't send sms...if i active 3g (not internet) sol work fine.. Any idea?
ITs normall.

[Q] How do i update the baseband?

Hi guys,
I have a Xperia Mini Pro with this configuration...
Model: U20i
Firmware: 2.1-update1
Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
kernel: 2.6.29
I'm still a noob at installing new versions of Android.
Can anyone tell me how i update the Baseband to M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015?
I already have it rooted, i just can't install modified androids because of this baseband!
Thanks! Any help is welcome!
You need to update the phone using the SEUS app. This will upgrade your baseband but will also wipe any existing mods & data.
Simply Run the SEUS program and follow the intructions given on screen. Once you've updated, your baseband will be updated.

Not sure why your baseband isn't already, having re-read the post you say it already has 2.1 update-1 which is wierd. Try updating the phone again anyway it might solve your problem
You can update with pc companion
Sent from my U20i using XDA App
Try updating via PC Companion or SEUS, like that:

You need to change your build.prop file to fool SE that you have a different version so they'll send you the 015 version. To do this you must:
1. Root the phone.
2. Google and download a build.prop file for your phone (exact model).
3. Change your current /system/build.prop with that one using RootExplorer (or similar).
4. Reboot the phone.
5. Update the phone with PC Companion.

[Q] Can't update Android Version on my X10 Mini

Hello There,
Little problem here. When I try to update via PC Companion, it tells me that I already have the latest version, bit I don't think I do. Truth be told, I already messed up a lot with this phone in the past, but I calmed down, because it got so slow to the point of being unusable, Then I reset to factory, but there must be something wrong left. The info I have in the "About Phone" is:
Model Number: St 15 i
Android Version: 2.3.4
BaseBand Version:8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-56
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-perf
Build Number: 4.0.2.A.0.42
Any hints, please ?

The phone you have is not the x10mini (2010 device, E10i), but the 2011 Experia mini (without x10). It should be updatable to ICS as far as I'm aware, but that not only depends on your phone, but may also have to do with your carrier, and in how much they customised the firmware for your phone. Look for the Xperia Mini forum in the Sony Section of the main forum, they may be able to help you further.
Thank you
