I need your help. My phone is vodafone 785(smart 4 mini). I'm trying to flash the boot and recovery in my phone but shows this error (in attach) BROM ERROR - SL_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (5054). I do not know why. I can not turn on my phone or go to recovey. I think I did all formart my phone but not remember i have boot.img and recovery.img for flashing.

Hello!
I really need help from someone! It's been a few weeks (months) that my phone is dead, after I make flash a wrong ROM. The problem is that now the following error appears when I try to flash another ROM:
BROM ERROR: s_ft_nfb_download_code_fail (4014)
Fail to Download Image (s) to NAND flash.
And when I try to format the phone this message appears:
BROM ERROR: s_da_NAND_unknown_err (3040).
Is there any salvation for my device! Please any help would be appreciated!

I solved and I encountered the same problem .. I went to web to find solution for this error but I found nothing. that lead me to this post. I spend whole day to try to solve it luckily I solved mine.
Solution.
update your sp flash tool.. or use an installation version of sp flash tool.
make sure you uncheck DA checksum. then flash.
this might solve your problem. if not or went into boot loop.
2nd
format the bad blocks then flash
3rd
plz use tested firmware with complete files including userdata and secro.
4th solution is later my pc went to hanging...

I am trying to unbrick a mtk 6589 device on spflash tools but i keep coming across a BROM ERROR : S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069) error, can anyone help with a solution? i would be so grateful.

this shows because your phone has no space left try hard reset
hard reset your android and if it not works tell me what is model and version of your phone

thanks for ur response, here is the thing, the phone cant even come on at all, not even the led light comes on when a charger is plugged or how are u suggesting i perform a hard reset if i cant even go into recovery?
and its a tecno A2 (MTK 6589)

i have bricked my Vodafone VF685/ Alcatel Pop D1/ Huawei U1860 or whatever make this is (quite confusing) with SP Flash tool MT6572.
I tried to flash CWM recovery (successfully rooted with KingRoot) with the Scatter file compatible with the SP Tool version. All went well, bur my phone didnt want to go past the start up logo. So i tried flashing it again, and now it doesnt want to switch on nor charge, cant boot into recovery. Just a dead phone with a black screen. My pc doesnt pick up my phone via usb and i get error code 4004, i did some searching on how to fix the error code but im still stuck in a rut...
Any advice on how to fix this and please any advice on how to tell which recovery and scatter and firmware is for this phone?

I tried to root my phone. After its done my phone stuck at the waves screen...
I tried to flash using flashtool but there are error "can't read a byte value"
