OK, the thing is... I've search everywhere I could find stuff around this subject and none of the things I used worked.
I have a rooted ZTE Blade L2 with stock 4.4.2 with a stock recovery system (a very basic one).
I tried UncleMTKtools (or something), Flashify and MTK droid Tools to install CWM or any system recovery for that but they all fail at some point.
I am very confused! Is there any Recovery avaiable to this phone with stock KitKat??
Also tried to downgrade it to jelly bean due some reports of users who installed CWM with the most easiest way they could get, but it fails in the instalation and I have to flash the Portuguese Stock Rom all from the start.
Anyone has any ideas?? Please help

Mobile unlce toolswill not work i have tryed on many phones it does not find recovery best soulution is to build a custom cwm useing mtk droid toold then flash via scatter or just build inside the actual program (mtk droid tools)

sorry in advance for my english... i'm using carliv recovery and flashed miui rom which is for me the best rom for our phone so far...but my mistake is I forgot to backup my nvram so I lost my 3G connection...does anyone know how to recover 3G?...Thanks...

Hello everyone,
After follow a tutorial I successfully rooted my Symphonyw125 (MT6589 ARMv7) but I lost my recovery option. That tutorial do that by using TWRP recovery and MobileUncle. I have done same and then my recovery option is totally gone. Phone is working fine. I tried to factory reset, it's reset all but nothing done with recovery option. It remain same.
In hard mode, by pressing power+volume up boot image comes on the screen then reboot again into normal mode. I also tried by using ADB, Replace recovery by SP flash, Factory Reset , all was worked without error. But Recovery/Bootloader Mode isn't fixed yet.
I don't know what to do next... .. any suggestion

But now I want to install custom ROM. I've tried several Jelly Bean ROM which is for Gionee gn708w. My phone "Symphony W125" is same as Gionee gn708w. After installation its alwayes stuck on bootimage.
I also tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2247786 this. But on step 4 (Restore His Backup File With CWM) I've failed to restore. My CWM version is 5.05 does not read .dup file. He may be used CWM 6+ Version to made this backup. If it was .img file, can easily restore by CWM 5.05.
I also can't install ROM by following http://androidjugaad.com/showthread.php?tid=1313 method. I dont have windows, I am a linux user and SP Flashtool only works on windows.
So, If anyone have JB 4.2 which's boot.img is work on Symphony W125 or knows other method that work on this phone please share.

as far as i know, before applying custom rom on w125 u have to debrand it (some thing like BL), by applying recovery img of x800(not sure)..
Hello . I recently rooted my lava n400 running stock rom ics. After that I wanted to flash a custom rom for better perfomance of my phone so I tried to install cwm recovery 6.0.2.8 using mobile uncle tools as recommended for my phone but after that my phone doesn't boot into recovery at all . it just stucks at boot logo for ever . i searched a lot at google and xda and found some but but none of them matched mine .I even tried different method of installing by spf flash tools and also tried various versions of cwm and even twrp recovery but none of them worked . please help me iam really getting frustrated now . thanks

now i got a new Xolo Q700s i wanna port Cherry mobile Fuze ROM on it can i do it ? the oonly difference is the front cam and the battery both have same MT6582M 1GB RAM 8 MP camera screen res and another thing is i cant get the stock rom for Q700S anyway online can someone point me a way where i can get the system boot recovery etc .img files ???

Without the stock rom, it is so risky to test custom roms, almost impossible.
But if you can flash TWRP or CWM, you can backup your stock rom to restore everytime you fail.
I suggest you to find the custom recovery first.
Use this Mobile Uncle Tools (MTK tools) to flash custom recovery, the most easy way to flash recovery for MTK devices. If you want to know how to use it, go to www.kokoandroid.weebly.com and follow the step 2,3 and 5.

could not find cwm for my phone so did a self mod and got CWM working in the q700s made a backup of my Stock rom which can be flashed with sp flasher n not i m off for porting thanx for the help anyways

After trying to do a partition on my Cherry Mobile Thunder ( a.k.a. MicromaxA91) (2GB of 4GB internal), then I tried to restore factory settings to complete the partition, when It restarted It got stuck in the bootlogo, I got it bricked, Tried to flash my stock rom with TWRP, it failed, Cleared Cache - Failed, Cleared Dalvik Cache Wipe - Failed, tried to Reboot & Restore Factory Settings - still Fails and Prompts " No OS Found, Continue Reboot?" then asks for installing SU, FAILED, Tried to Flash it with ADB - but just pompts "waiting for device" I'm running out of options PLEASE HELP!

download the stock rom for your phone which can be flashed via sp flash tools

Yesterday 02/04/2014 I upgraded my room VERSION 4.3.21 MIUI V5 using cwm recovery and everything worked fine.
And today I decided to set up a room that has more kit kat android the problem is that now my android does not want to start in recovery mode.
I've tried everything, I root again, gave permissions and yet when it will reboot into recovery mode it formats and reset the device.
Is there another way to get into recovery mode?
Or have some program to install room the computer?

First the device specs.
Device: QMobile A900 MTK6589 dual sim chinese device.
ROM: 4GB
OS: LG G3 Kitkat 4.4.2 rom.
Now the Problem
I am also facing this problem after attempting to re-size the partition using meteos mtk6589 rom edit apk and then did clear eMMC / Factory Reset using stock recovery (i think it formatted /data partition etc) .... Although my phone is still working properly without any issue, i am unable to root or install CWM by any means (tried mtk mobileuncle tools, tried spflash tool) but not working.
First, i tried to root using RootMaster vRoot, motochopper run.bat but failed. It did however installed SuperSU but when i start it says binary needs to be updated. I continue but it fails to update. I used RootChecker app to check the possible root but it says device is not rooted. I searched xda-forums and googled for a solution but couldnt find any. One person stated using Format whole flash to reset the partition table but i haven't done that worrying my phone will brick.
Secondly, i tried flashing cwm recovery using spflash tool (with new scatter file generated with MTKDroidTools). After flashing, it says All OK and shows green circle, however, when i reboot in to recovery, i get stock recovery and no CMW.
Please help me how to root my device and install cwm as i am unable to revert to my old backup taken with cwmr.
