I wanted to upgrade my firmware on my zenfone 6.
But I have a problem. There is no guide for my version of software.
I tried manual update but after disconnecting devices from USB no installation pop up
appeared. I tried sideload but I am getting no devices found after using prompt
commands. I am not so tech savvy. Please give me step by step advise.
What is more auto update to 4,4 is not working either.

Hello guys,
I am new to the forum, please don't blame me if I put it into wrong section.
... so, my problem is that I've clicked to install update, Android prompted me to do it. It has downloaded some Doogee files, rebooted phone, then was trying to install the update.
It has failed (there was Android error icon). Now my phone does not start, it's frozen on the Doogee intro.
I've bought my phone from Coolicool, but asked Doogee directly what should I do. Each time I ask they send me some incomplete instructions, broken links to flashing procedure. Half of that stuff is mixed chinese with poor english. I've tried my best to understand it, but failing consistently.
Could anyone help me with reflashing procedure for that phone?

I just got a wonderful Venue 8 7000 (7840),
problem is ONLY after double upgrading it (4.4=>5.01=>5.1) I found it's not international version, as I supposed, but is somehow tuned for china, so no google store/apps/account and lots of chinese apps I don't really need.
After searching around here, I found I should perform following steps,
please confirm if I'm right:
1) root the device using this procedure

2) connect in tethered cwm and restore an original image like the one linked here

If correct, I'm having problem with both steps,
first I installed ADB drivers and rebooted tablet in fastboot mode
then I tried to follow steps at 1), but Intel Platform Flash Tool cannot write
(ps I tried both with and without externad SD inserted)
I tried also the procedure here

The adb connection seems ok, but still cannot write temporary cwm and proceed
(tried both T3 and T4)

hi folks,
i have H901 firmware with F600S model. currently on 5.1 android H90110o version. i have tried all possible ways to connect my device via LGUP and failed in all aspects. no matter what the device doesn't recognise in LGUP or via Uppercut as well. i can enter into download mode, everything is written in korean. but my device recognises in LG bridge. which shows a update version available for F600S. one guy @hapyfaroq with same device succeded flashing F600S30D nougat kdz via LGUP. he could run nougat very well without any issues even with network signal.
now my question is can i update the same update F600S30D via LGBridge ? or will i end up running into bootloop ?

I’m asking you for help, I found myself in a tough situation because I damaged system in tablet Nexus 9. Bootloader was already unlocked in my device when I bought it. I assume that the system was original. I didn’t notice any modifications. I damaged this system by uploading a file in a fastboot mode connected by ADB. This file is for rooting. I used this guide on the YouTube:
After doing everything step by step in this guide and switching my device on there was a sign of launching - vibration. The next thing I saw was white Google logo and after that the animation of loading appeared. It was loading without any success.
Before uploading the root file I also tried to upload TWRP file via ADB but it didn’t make any difference. After uploading TWRP files system launched properly, there is no new app in the app list and no combination of buttons such as power + volume that launches TWRP. Please tell me if I’m doing something wrong…
I tried to fix this bootloop by cleaning files via Hboot - factory reset but it didn’t change anything. I was searching for guides that would help me solve my problem but I couldn’t find anything useful. Each of them was old. They were from 2014 or 2015.
I would like to have a working tablet with TWRP, root and other unofficial system (you can give me some suggestions, I was thinking about Android 9). I don’t know where to start or what should I do first. Fix bootloop or upload TWRP ? What is correct order ? How to upload TWRP eligibly ? I rooted devices only several times so please excuse me, I am not a professional. I know that guide on YouTube mentioned before was for Android „L” not „N”.
Summary:

Ok, I honestly didn't read everything, but if you have and can access fastboot, flash TWRP, transfer a ROM to the internal memory, wipe data (not storage) and flash your ROM.
Try getting Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit, it's a graphical UI for adb and fastboot, might be a little friendlier for you.

i bought an used surface duo 2 ( really good condition)
When i try to update my device, the duo says there is no update available.
(Duo means the OS is up to date, current build number is 2021.1116.98 (android 11)
i tried to get an recovery image from microsoft, but something goes wrong with the
serial number. Microsoft can not verfiy the serial from the device.
(Maybe the duo was rootet, modified)
But i got an recovery image from microsoft.
I tried it to install it (with the instruction manual from microsoft).
