Good question. As soon as they put the factory images up well know for sure. Probably a couple of weeks from now.

Nexus 7 2ñd gen flo
Nexus 9 flounder
Poor guess but I would go with flounder, the 1st 3 letters of younger brother (flo).

The device name is "flounder"
The rom branch name is "volantis"
All goog developed/involved devices are generally named after some sort of fish, there is no real theme when it comes to the rom branches.
Google/Device Codenames
In the case of the 2013 n7 and the gear live, they're named after movie fish and not real fish.

I'm saying when you do . build/envsetup.sh and then lunch, you then get a list of devices, Will it be flounder or volantis?

it should be "lunch full_flounder" when it's on aosp, unless they changed it.
They migrated from aosp_<device name> to full_<device name> around 4.3/4.4 (i forget which), but they didnt keep it that way.
Some older devices are aosp_ still, newer ones are full_, they could possibly change it again in the future.

Any developer that's needs this will already know where to find it. This shouldn't be in development.

I would say that LG's released source code deserves to be in the dev section. Better to have it than not have it.

And now we all know about it without having to hunt it down or without getting confused, or having people assume we know. :good:
I'm surprised that LG has released it, coming from Motorola Atrix territory. They didn't release jack, so I am hopeful of better support.
I might confused, is it only the kernel source?
I understood sources are pretty good that a rom kan be kanged directly from it, is that correct?

I believe people would help out if they can. Maybe there are not many people with HOX+ can do what you do. If only i can do something, trust me i would be willing to participate and assist you to work something out since I know you are a single fighter in developing anything for this device.I am just a regular user who can provide nothing but moral support for you.

Sweet!
There is no source code listed for Verizon & AT&T note 3 due to the locked bootloaders.
In theory the T-Mobile version should work on a Developer Edition eventually, yes?

Yes. Probably best to flash the Sprint one though
Having a dev edition with no development is worse than a locked boot loader.
I'm wondering if this might help us get AOSP ROMs working on the standard Verizon Note 3 perhaps?
