I've tried to get the xposed module to install and after doing it when I start g3tweaks it tells me that it is not installed and I can not do anything in G3tweaks. I've tried both in twrp and by installing the apk in es file explorer.

After installing it, did you open the app, install the framework, and reboot?

Yes I went into xposed installer and clicked on install/upgrade and it said that it would go into recovery and reboot, it went so fast I'm not sure if it did anything or if there were any erorrs but even after that it still says not installed.
OK it's working, I went into Modules in xposed and checked the box for G3 tweaks, DOH!

Hi,
I have root acces, busybox installed and custom kernel with stock jellybean on my HOX+. I have installed Xposed Installer 2.4.1 and i have tried install/update framework button but app freezes and closes after some time. I can't install framework so I can't install any modules. What should I do?
EDIT: I have tried many times and after some time supersu popup showed and sked me to grant acces and then it worked but when I try to reboot from Xposed Installer it says that I don't have Access to do that.
So I used Towelroot, and both rootchecker and the KFHDX toolkit say I am rooted. I installed SuperSU and set it up to give acess to things. Installed ES File explorer, gave it root access, superuser, mounted system as RW, but I'm unable to move APKs into /system/app. It just says it failed to move/copy. Same with Root Explorer. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
This was all in an effort in get Google Play store running. I have also tried the instructions here, but it says "Unable to parse this package" when trying to install the HDXposed 1.1.apk. Either way I am left with a google play store that I was able to sign into but crashes every time I load it.

If it says unable to parse, then you are trying to use the wrong version. You cannot open PS without staring over if you try to open it before installing Xposed & enabling the HDXPosed module & rebooting first.
You need to either use the 4.0.4 GSF/GSM or the 4.2.2 versions. Nothing later than that will parse because they are for the wrong Android version target.

The HDXposed 1.1 is what is unable to parse. Is there a different version of that I need to be using? The Xposed Framework installed fine, I just can't do the second part.

This worked like a charm for me. I am using a stock rooted 6.0 rom on my Moto X Pure xt1575 with SuperSU 2.66. Main uses for Xposed are greenify and amplify.
Quick follow up question: after this operation Greenify does not recognize the Xposed installation. I am not sure what else doesn't recognize it because that is all I have noticed. Is there something else that needs to be done to cause the modules list to rebuild?
Edit: although Xposed looks normal and all boxes are checked,, none of the individual programs recognize that Xposed is there.
Second edit: I deleted the modules and reinstalled them,, then rebooted and all was well. Solved.
Thanks!
I installed xposed (it took around 20 minutes to install) and then installed 5 modules, and when I rebooted I saw that xposed is installed but not active. And when I tried installing xposed on top of it again it didn't do anything, do you know how to fix it?
List of modules installed:
Obb on SD
XInternalSD
Gravitybox MM
XStana
Lucky Patcher

The same happened to me. I just re-flashed the framework, and it worked. Of course, I waited again around 20 minutes for the phone to boot.
try to soft reboot from xposed
you have framework 86? what your device?
I flash framework 86 but no finish at boot animation, so I flash 85 version and work
my problem same with you after reboot normal, framework can't read so I did soft reboot and worked

I tried to reinstall the framework and again the same issue, nothing happened but I will try to soft reboot
@nrokos
Check if you have a file "disable" on /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/
Delete if you have

Thanks mate, fixed it
Hi guys, today I updated via OTA to MIUI 10 9.2.21, after that I reinstalled magisk and adaway but when I try to apply it says there's not enough space in the partition, so I tried to relocate the host file to DE /data/data folder as told by the app but it doesn't work, the link doesn't create . So I read that the solution could be un install system apps, so I downloaded Titanium Backup but it doesn't seem to un install any app, tried an app remover root from play store and CCleaner and that didn't work either, tried to remove some things in the /system folder but the delete process always fails. Don't know what to do to get adaway working again, it was working fine before the update.
Thank you in advance
Happened to me too if you try to install using magisk manager inside of android it won't work.
You have to install magisk initially in twrp for it to work.
No, I always install magisk first. Then I install an adaway downloaded apk. It always worked except for this time with the not enough space on partition issue
Already deleted 2 system apps (Bugreport and notes) with the adb and command method
Srill, adways says not enough space in the partition
Don't know what else to do, if it needs more space or what
This solution works on Mi8:
1. In Magisk manager tap "settings/systemless hosts". It should install systemless hosts module. Go check it in modules to confirm it is installed.
2. Reboot device
3. Install Adaway and apply ad-blocking. It should work now.
