Hi. I wanted to know if it's possible to use a Sony Ericcson Xperia Mini Pro SK17 for USB Tethering with an old Win98SE laptop. I've never used USB Tethering before and I don't know where to download the drivers... If there aren't any drivers for Win98 maybe I can get new ones to work using KernelEx, but I don't either know where to download them.

Please response as soon as possible. I have updated my X10mini pro with X10 mini (E10) files by mistake.
Now, I have a big problem, the phone does not respond. touch screen does not work and I can not mount the phone to the usb port to do the update again with the correct files. Sony Ericson pc companion and update service doesnt work in my case.
Anyone has an idea how to fix it? I need a free tool to flash my ROM.

I've just bought Xperia X8 2 days ago and i've used GingerDX ROM from the Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188486
everything works fine except that i am not not able to charge my phone when i connect it to the PC
with the original ROM when i connect the USB cable the mobile used to prompt me to chose if i want to charge or exchange data
now with the modded ROM i don't have options but Storage on/off

don't think you can.
at least not just yet. maybe in a while since the machine is just recently rooted.
But you can always use something like this.

i bought the i'mwatch and i must connect via bluetooth tethering with my x10 mini pro, but with version 2.1 there is no tethering. Installed rom cm7 2.3.7 but even here there is no option bluetooth tethering. Tell me if the mini cm10-4.0.1 has this option? Thanks

Currently we are developing a software which need the information from the Phone using QXDM tool.As of now,Most of the USB dongles and mobiles which i bought are having ROM with USB diagnostic port disabled,Hence it wont allow me to connect to QPST and QXDM tools.I have tried with multiple phones and almost all phone's diagnostic ports are disabled.I would like to know how to enable the USB diagnostic port for my Sony Xperia Z2 .If not this phone,I'm ready to buy any phone/usb dongle( obviously with Qualcomm Chipset) to enable the log analysis.Kindly guide me to solve this.
I would really appreciate if anyone in this forum could help me out.For all questions i have raised,I have always got a solution from here.I'm keeping my hopes high.
