Ok, let's take a step back here. You tried updating to the latest NH7, but have been having issues.
Can you be more explicit in what problems you're having? Are there a lot of FCs? Signal issues? Just saying that you've been "having issues" doesn't really point us in the right direction of how to help you.
How did you apply the update? Was it through ODIN or using the over-the-air (OTA) update? If you used ODIN, was it the Mobile ODIN or the PC version?

Hi i used odin when i done so my spc code went back to stock

Ok, now how about the other clarifying questions I asked... What issues are you getting on NH7? Can you describe them for us so we can help you?

When i used odin to udste my spc code was 000000 and when i went to 4.4.4 it went back to stovk

Ok, this helps us out a little bit... You had flashed your phone over to another carrier, then when you decided to update to NH7, it reset your SPC to the stock one. This is normal behavior when you ODIN flash an OTA, btw.
The first question I have is: What method did you originally use to obtain the SPC of 000000? Have you checked that thread to see if you can reset it to 000000 while on NH7?

It was on oooooo buy after the ota it was set back to stock

Yes, we already established that fact.
My question is: What method did you use to originally get it to 000000?

I used cdma workshop

Ok, so what you're really asking is: How do I get my SPC back to 000000 now that I'm on NH7? I assume you tried to use CDMA workshop (as you did originally) and it didn't work.
As I myself have never changed my SPC, I cannot answer this question. But after a bit of google searching, I found some resources that can help you.
This Thread has very good instructions on flashing over to another carrier, as well as an active userbase that answers questions (mocoyombiflash in particular is really good).
This thread has information on how to flash over to Relianve/Cricket/Metro, so it may have information which will help you.
I'd recommend being very clear when asking your questions over there, as not everyone is willing to go through 4 rounds of Q&A in order to understand what you're asking.

After the update all has changed its not the same

As for going in to full details I shouldn't especially if u have the knowledge of social codes and how to zero them out

I hope you find your answers on the other threads.
My statement on being clear was based on the original question on this thread:
shadricksimms said:

It had nothing to do with SPC and took a few rounds of back-and-forth before I could glean enough information about what you wanted help on. That's all I'm saying.
I wish you luck on flashing your phone back to SPC 000000.

Well after the update I can't write to the phone

After the update it won't let me write the nv items on it

Then the appropriate question to ask on either of the threads I linked would be the following:
Hey guys, I had my phone on SPC 000000 using CDMA Workshop, but when I updated to NH7 using ODIN, it reset my SPC back to stock. I tried using CDMA Workshop on it while on NH7, but it failed to write the NV items onto it. I was wondering if there is a way to flash back to SPC 000000 while on NH7? If not, which software version to I have to flash back to in order for it to work?

It's still short and concise, but gives them all the information they need in order to help you out.

[Q] Thats not my Network Operator?

Hello
I've only just flashed my Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5830i with jellyblast 3.0.3. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1976674 ) Everything went fairly smoothly and now I have an almost fully working jelly bean 4.1.1 install.
Unfortunately, I can't connect to my Network Operator which is Tesco Mobile in the UK.
If I go to " Settings > Wireless & network settings > Mobile networks > Network Oporators" jelly been searches for available networks and comes back with a few options, one being O2, which I think tesco uses. But when I select O2, the phone says that my sim card does not allow connection to the network.
So... my question is, how can I connect to Tesco mobile network if the option is not available in the options provided?
You don't have Jelly Bean 4.1 on your phone, let alone fully working
Now, please tell me if you type *#06# in dialler
Then what do you se

No don't press the call button
Go to phone and type *#06#
You will see a box with IMEI written on top
Tell if there is a number written there or is it blank?
And it is Gingerbread, not Jelly Bean
To confirm, go to Settings>About Phone and repeatedly click on Android Version
If there are Jelly Beans FLYING AROUND
Then, congratulations, you a Jelly Bean device
If there is only a static image, sorry, you have Gingerbread
WOW!

Thats just S***! Did I make a mistake or is it a trick by the jellyblast people?
Anyway, thanks for your help so far, are you able to point me to a jelly bean rom that I can actually use on the GT-S5830i or do I need to brick the device and take it back to the network operator?

I thought the imei number was hard coded. meaning, part of the hardware. is that not the case?
What does loosing the imei mean?
Ok, so the imei number was stored in the EFS folder right? and if I haven't backed that up, then i guess i'm screwed?
If that is the case then I guess the only option is to take the phone back completely bricked?
Is there any other way I can correct this problem?
thanks

Lol. Thats a nice way to get rid of this phone...and buy a new one if you are out of your warranty period. You will get your imei number back....just flash any stock rom through odin again. Once you get back on stock...backup your imei number using galaxy toolbox app so that you dont think about crucifing your phone again. ( I wont be surprised even if you want to....because i usually feel like doing that.

I've actually just bought this phone with a new and very cheap contract (what a dooch). Flashing hadn't even crossed my mind 2 days ago when I got it. If only I'd known what I now know, I definitely wouldn't have got this particular phone, seems as though its a real pain for everyone.
Thanks for your tips by the way.
I've downloaded the stock firmware from sammobile.com for this phone, will the combination of restoring the imei, backing it up like you say and flashing with sammobile's rom be enough to restore the original setup?
If so, I might use the 14 day grace period to change my mind about this phone and get a slightly more flashable one.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
I sorted the phone by putting the stock firmware back on, deleting offending files and unrooting it. I then went back to the shop and swapped it for a Galaxy S II GT-I9100 (wohooo what a phone!)
I will be rooting it at some point but I have to be sure I can do it without problems.
Thanks again

Problem with network connection on galaxy s3 gt i9300

I'm using a galaxy s3 gt i9300, android version 4.1.2, baseband version I9300XXEMB6. I currently had installed a custom rom ''Sotmax_Ultimate_Stock_V23_XXUFME7_HD_AR'' I managed to install it but when the network service provider requested the handset configuration (picture shown in the attachment) i clicked ok but then another pop up message appears saying ''temporary error occured in application. please try again later'' (picture shown in the attachment) I thought it was probably the custom rom so i reinstalled the stock rom of galaxy S3 but still the problem is there so until now i have no network connections on my phone .....so if there is anything i can do please help
Just go to your provider website, get the apn settings and enter them manually

Try ariza patch . Google it. You need to be rooted and busy box installed

You need to provide details of what modem you are on.....I'd your imei starts 0049.....and it looks like it does, then you have probably at some time had one of the new format modems, so you need that (probably MG4) to get your imei back, unless you have a back up of it which I doubt.
Read read read read learn learn learn read read read learn more......then flash.

[Q] How to get back on the network?

Now to your question - where did you find this rom? It's not listed in our forums so I am assuming thats why your are having issues.
I had lost my data connection at one point as well... try flashing back to or restoring a TW based rom.. it solved the problem for me. can't promise itll work for you, but it's worth a shot.
