[Q] uUSB to VGA adapter - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

Has anyone tried this adapter: http://shop.brando.com/Micro-USB-to-VGA-Audio-Output-Cable_p10586c0312d002.html
to show presentations or such on a VGA screen/projector from the Note Pro 12.2?

Keep in mind that our mini usb connector is not normal. It's not clear what the connector looks like on that link but I suspect it's the wrong one. But you could always get an adapter to make it work.

It's a micro USB 2 connector but should work in the USB 3 port we have

Not sure what type of adapter you're referring to but I use a microusb 2.0 OTA adapter to connect flash drives and card readers all the time.
With regards to the OP I'm not sure if the note pro supports mhl.

I got Samsung's USB-HDMI MHL adapter and that works just fine.

Micro USB 2 connectors work fine for me.

You're confusing MicroUSB with MiniUSB... The NotePro has, just like all Android device, a MicroUSB.
From left to right: NormalUSB, MiniUSB, MicroUSB.

I have tried the micro usb that came with my logitech keyboard and it doesn't seem to fit in the 12.2 usb slot. There is resistance and I don't want to force it for fear of bending the pins. That's the reason I have said that the normal micro usb doesn't fit.

All of my micro-USB accessories fit just fine in mine (mhl, OTG, chargers)

Hm, the one that came with my Logitech K801 fits perfectly.
There are pins on the USB plug's bottom side that ensure the cable remains in place. It's possible those were not quite as flexible as the ones on the Samsung cable.
(I'll not ask if you're using the right side of the slot, I'm assuming that much was obvious )

Thanks Shadow...I tried again, forcing it this time and you are correct. It fits. I apologize to all for my misleading comments I said before in this thread about the Micro USB not working. It just required a little harder push.
