My Sprint store just called to set up my appointment to get the evo 3d. Set it up for after work on the 24th. Still on the fence as to if I am going to get it. But at least I can look at it first.
HELP..I've been trying to find myself and found I don't exist.
I called the store I ordered mine at just to find out when they would be setting up appointments, and they said the day before. I might call again this weekend and make sure though. Not knowing when to show up until the day before is kind of nerve wracking.
I did my pre-order today in the store, and they told be that they would be opening at 8 AM on the 24th, and I could just stop in at anytime after opening to pick mine up. No early premier pickup, that can only be done online. I was 49th on the pre-order list.
I just got a call as well. 8 AM on the 24th for me.

Got my preorder yesterday and I'm #30 so I guess I'm safe and yeah they are opening at 8 am and my boy at the store is gonna give me my 3D whenever I come no matter that I'm #30 so I might be the first owner of an EVO 3D in the Hudson Valley.... (maybe) lol

I'm going to saunter into a corporate store around noon after sleeping in and pick one up with no preorder, I have been assured of no issues with quantities and a guarantee from other internet users that they will be in stock. then I will with a smile and swagger skip out of the store with none the happier

You have to call them lol. I was 13th on the list....called them up and asked them if they are going to be setting appointments.....and was the first one to call them....now number 1 on the list!!!! haha owned.

I thought they said they will make appts 2 days before the release date. I haven't heard from them yet but I'm calling them now to preorder my kick stand case.

I ordered in store and was told an email would go out when it is ready for pick up. I called the store yesterday in the hopes that I could pick it up early... They have the Gnote but will not be releasing any until Sunday. ARGH!! I want my note. LOL
I did the preorder in store and I'm just waiting for Sunday
Order online...i calll so see i can pick up at store..order could not be change because they dont have any in stores.....most they could do is cancel my order from feb 5 and place a new one to have pick up at store...i woyld wait on ups i guesss....most likely stored already sold out

I just came back from best buy. Said they've got their shipment in but I have to wait a couple hours until they're done with inventory.

Just came back from Best Buy Mobile they told me the shipment was in and my Note was there but I can't pick it up til Sunday wich I am fine with as long as I get my free case and $50 bucks off and don't have to wait til Tues
this doesn't make sense to me. AT&T and Best Buy get their phones at the same time yet we have to wait until after it's available at the stores and those who ordered from AT&T already got theirs. At least ship it so I get it the same day it's available at the store.
You people are acting like this is a huge surprise that they won't let you get it now. We have a CONTRACT with At&t to not sell until Sunday. You all knew this when You preordered. To the people complaining about them not shipping in Sunday, well looks like YOU made the dumb decision to not just go pick it up in stores.

I'm glad I ordered through Best Buy... I just went to an AT&T store during lunch to ask if they have received any Notes in yet because I wanted to see one just to see how big it actually was. I haven't held one yet, just have seen pictures. I saw a rep walking toward me and I asked him if they had received any yet and he said no, to which I said that it surprised me... He then told me that it was supposed to be released this spring! I, rather sarcastically, replied that it was going to be released on Sunday, then walked out the door.
Really? You're supposed to support a device as big, and NOTEworthy (pun intended) as this and you don't even know when it's going to be released?!

If you preordered in store you pick up in store. Meaning you walk in at any time after we open on Sunday and just say hey I'm here to pick up my note. Easy

I went in to reserve it at BB. Worth the drive for me, there's BB's all over my area.

If not, I'll just return it and get a new one since I'm within my 30 day window Not to mention, there is 1 dead pixel I could technically complain about but would let slide if I can get a refund.
Your within your warranty period, take it back for price adjustment. If they *****, return for full refund, drive 4 blocks up the road and buy a brand new one for $9.99.

Lol, you act as if I don't have a pair. I just found that it was going for $9.99 and the store kind of isn't open at almost midnight . I planned on calling them in the morning but wanted to see what others had to say.

Uh, then do it? If you have a dead pixel, Id take it back regardless, exchange it for a new one at the new price and be a double win. Why is this a hard choice, it seems pretty easy to me?

I got my new phone early last week, saw it on sale this week, called Customer Service and they gave me a $90 credit on my account. I'm sure they'll do the same for you.
Just went to a Verizon store to get a DNA with a $100 off promotion. While I was tinkering with the phone the rep looked up the deal. He said said I should wait till 5/14 because they will have a free promotion. So I'm gonna wait. Till then. Hope this helps.

I expect an HTC one announcement shortly after 5/14 (30 days ?). Typical VZW. Will offload the phone on thousands of people and lock them into 2 year contracts before the new model comes along.

Offload the phone? For someone who bought the DNA 5 months ago it may not have been realistic to wait until late May for the next option.
Personally I'm very happy with the DNA and to act like Verizon scammed you by selling it to you is a little silly if you ask me.

It looks like the S4 had been released or already pre orders. I'm sorry but I haven't don't my due diligence researching on the One. But how does it stand above the DNA? And has it even been confirmed its coming to Verizon?
If this is real my friend might give android over ios a shot. His iphone 4 is starting to get hardware issues everywhere.

I got mine in January and I am content with it as well. This phone does everything I need it to easily. I don't play many games on it because I would rather do that on xbox..... so instead of saving my money for a new phone I am saving for the new xbox.

The sales rep said you enter your email and a unique bar code is generated and then take that to the Verizon store to receive the free DNA. I don't know if I'll have the time before work, but as guess i can wait till after..... Wouldn't get to much work accomplished with new toy. I am going to ask if the they have any 1.5 firmware phones. Seems like a long shot but someone else was successful in finding one.

I just had an online chat with VZW customer service to see if I could confirm the rumor. Here is the result:
"The DNA is free will be free at this time there is a website error so the correct price is not showing up we are working on this now we are very sorry for the inconvenience. It should be fixed later today."

Most of you know me, or have seen me around.... so are probably aware of my, 8 week cold turkey stint without my Ultra.
Reason being: There was a small repair needed.
... However today I took my family on a small tramp, in the sun, to a water hole for a swim..
I was taking some picture with my Ultra, and the screen started flickering... so i powered it off and then back on... 'black screen'
Everything was still working, but black screen. (obviously can't see anything) Went to do a hard power off, by holding the red button, and hmmm whats that. the white humidity paper is red. **crap!** the lens on both the front and back have fog all over them. No I've never even taken my device underwater, it may have received a few splash's today, but caps are always closed... and they were today.
conclusion:
The last repair was completed, and the device was not sealed properly...
So... awaiting a response to my rather lengthy email... (very polite) and will see what the company say whom i bought it from.
They are based in Hong Kong, and it cost me $120 NZD to send it there and back... (I had to pay both freight costs)
SO.... there you go. fricken awesome! My device is dead again!
Oh god no.. I don't know what to say. The typical thing now is that you'll ship it away (again) and we'll receive 4.4 the day after. Just watch it happen.

yeah but we are talking about NZ dollars here so the $120 is only about 50c US
as a comparison they are currently selling imported for about $6-800

I've used it in the rain, before I had the initial repair. worked fine, the humidity paper was still white. BUt the last repair company was complete rubbish. Was not my call as it was shipped to Hong Kong (where i purchased it) and they had it repaired.
So if your device is new, and not been opened then you're safe.

Yeah i'll get it repaired, and then sell it. I've bough a C6833 in New Zealand. Its not a sony store, but at least I don't have to ship it overseas. Should arrive next week I'm guessing. I was looking at the Z1.... but just couldn't do it. size of screen is obviously more important to me than a better camera... plus i have the QX10 so there's that.
