better way to root easily
Follow 3 steps-
1) Just download unsecureboot.img and flash it using sp flash tool.
2) switch on the phone and allow debuging access, connect phone to pc and open mtkdroidtools, click root. Now your micromax a72 is properly root. Earlier u were not allowd to access root because the stock boot.img permission was set to secure.

i don't know i am asking dis questtion in right category or not . My Spice Coolpad stuck at logo and restart again and again . I can open Recovery Mode.I haven't Enable USB Debugging mode. now what should i do ? I want any rom (custom or stock ) and how to flash it.plz guide me step by step.
Hello guys, I rooted my micromax canvas 5 e481 using this method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...fever-t3242640) unlocked oem then gradually installed cwm and then rooted and it worked but now I wanted to unroot my phone so downloaded the dump backup of the recovery.img in the post mentioned .i had cwm and wanted to replace with default recovery img. I flashed the recovery.img through adb and after reboot I couldn't return to recovery mode but I didn't loose my root access or any data. Whenever I was trying to reboot to recovery it was bringing me back to the home screen so I opened bootloader and again gave the command 'fastboot oem unlock' and then 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img' .After this my device is stuck in canvas logo which is coming and going no volume buttons are working to take me to bootloader or recovery. It's stuck there. Please help
Just download the stock ROM and flash it using SP flash tool
I recommend you to install TWRP and flash the supersu package

My problem was solved more than a year ago. Actually the problem was with the VCOM Drivers which I didn't install on my PC. Without that I installed the SP Flash Tool and then flashed the Recovery image which left my device on a bootloop and after that I even bricked my device by flashing Rom with SP Flash Tool without drivers installed. I figured out the problem later and then with the help of recovery mode went to fastboot mode then installed the drivers on my PC and flashed the ROM. Phone is working fine now. Now downloading this custom ROM as using Lollipop for nearly 2 years. Thanx a lot for your reply Harishwarrior and for the Ressurection Remix Rom links

Harish I installed the Ressurection Os . But no Gapps. So need the link for Gapps and the step you mentioned

After using this Rom for some time will use the Lineage OS
only try this if you have video playback issue
Micromax Canvas 5 Bootloop Restarting on Logo
Micromax canvas 5 restarts continuously on Logo means device restart it shows micromax logo and then again restarts.
I completed the process of bootloader. then flash TWRP 3.0.0 and then opted for the command "fastboot reboot", then next the phone just restarts on the logo, never rooted this phone before it was first time.
Tried pressing Volume Up + Power it even does not go in fastboot or recovery mode, it just keeps on restarting.
Please Help urgently.

Ok! so I have been trying very hard to port a custom recovery for my Micromax canvas xpress 2 E313(newer model) with the MT6592 chip. I followed several guides and tried flashing the recovey but they don't open. I see a black screen when trying to open recovery and the device reboots itself after 10 secs. Can someone help me figure out the problem? Actually now I am working on unlocking the bootloader of the device and then flashing the recovery ! MTK droid tools is also not able to detect my device no matter how many correct drivers I install ! Feeling really bad ! Hope someone replies fast ! I can even upload the recovery file as well as any other file if you want! Please help!There is also one more problem, when I enter the fastboot mode, the adb is not able to detect my device therefore not letting me give commands ! ANY SOLUTIONS?
