Hi, I have a GS4 by Verizon and I need to inverse the gyroscope reading by 180°. when I'm in camera it takes pictures upside down. I am running 4.4.2 with Eclipse ROM and root. Just wondering if someone can make an app that will inverse it... Thanks.

Not sure it's possible... Don't think it is, since I believe the camera app relies on some of the Touch Wiz framework, which MIUI doesn't have.

Hi Guys,
This is AOSP JB 4.2.1 Camera/Gallery apps ported for Samsung JB 4.1.2
What working & not working:
1) PhotoSphere is working (Best selling point for this camera)
2) Panorama photo is working
3) Taking photo with flashlight enabled is not working. Driver issue I think.
4) Taking video with flashlight enabled is working though.
5) Gallery is working good.
6) Quality ? You tell me.
Guide for installation:
1) Download the zip file below
2) Flash it in CWM
3) Done.
Flash this at your own risk. Always make a backup before flashing anything.
Download:
http://db.tt/HpbPYCyP
is there any way to disable the shutter sound? aside from that minor annoyance, the app works perfectly for me . thanks again for posting this.
Thanks for the file. Any difference from the one which was posted a long time back. If this is newer version then i will flash the update.

The gallery has issues when you pinch to zoom in, it resets the zoom, level, it will take a few tries to have it 'stick' to the zoom level you want.
Also The camera has a bug where it shows the image in 16:9 proportions even though you have a 4:3 shooting mode selected. Check out this thread.
Thank You, works a charm on my SGS2 rooted running ParanoidAndroid 2.54

Hi Guys
I've just installed a new super lite ROM which seems pretty much perfect EXCEPT i'm missing two features of Samsung's "bloat"ware that I really like:
Blocking Mode
Stay Awake
I've tried Googling and failed miserably to locate these so, can anyone tell me where i can get these please? (Yes I know there are alternatives but i'd like to stay with apps I am happy with and that work for me)

Of they are only apks & libs you could extract them from a stock Rom and put them into yours I guess.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
What is the ROM based on?
Is it Sammy or an AOKP based ROM?
If it's Samsung Based, I could take a Titanium Backup of it and send it across to you.

If it is not Samsung based but aokp it won't work as it needs Samsung framework.

Damn.... why is it the "perfect" ROM never exists. I've been flashing since windows 6.0 and NEVER found a ROM that's 100%
Guess I'll have to look for market place alternatives then.
Thanks for your help!

There is no single perfect rom for everyone.. Everyone is different and has different needs or "cravings"
Thats also why there's so many custom roms out there, to fit your needs (sometimes) If you cant find one, go with stock or learn to make your own.
Quick question rom is a beast for start but only thing I need is the stock calendar. Is there anyway I can install that to run like the stock version? Thanks in advance

I upgraded my S3 to Kikat 4.4 but I miss the stocked email version from Android 4.3 which has conversation view. This is very useful to me having 300+ emails a day. I have tried other email apps from PlayStore but havent seen a good one. Is there a way that I can port stocked email from Android 4.3 to 4.4. Please help.

You could although just try getting the apk from a ROM and move it to /system with the right permissions. You may luck out!

I came from that ROM (S5) and love it's email implementation but I find it too slow. I installed Temasek' V72 coming from that ROM. Kitkat is snappier but default email sucks. Are you on S5ish? What did you do to make it work fast?
