Pseudo-EN Keyboard Layout for CM

Hi,
First, again, sorry for posting it here. Still don't have permission to post on development forums (need 10 posts to do that).
I was looking for an English Keyboard Layout for CM but I couldn't find one on the thread. So, I downloaded the German (the one without specific german letters mapped to blue/sym keys) and started hacking on it a little..
Well, I could swap Y and Z keys, but then I had to press blue+Z to enter number 3. I tried changing another things too without any success.
Is there anyone who can help me accomplish this things:
- Important things:
1- Fully swap Y and Z letters, letting me enter number 3 pressing Z.
2- My comma ',' key prints an apostrophe. I wanted to make it print comma.
- Not so important:
3- Make blue+C who actually has an apostrophe on it prints an apostrophe (that's not so important because I'm brazilian. We don't use apostrophes to much in here =P. And it's my girlfriend's phone, she is 99% of the time typing portuguese =P)
What can help, maybe, someone who provides a layout there, can point me where to find the original keychars.kcm. The update.zip comes with this file in a binary format, making it difficult to change =/
I have the same problem with keyboard, but I can use with this problem.

If it was my phone, I could adapt myself. The problem is that my gf really wants to get this fixed =P
Ah, and nice Corinthians-Tux btw ;D

How can I get this? (Screenshots included)

1. I don't have the bluetooth tethering option? It used to be there with my old S3 (now I have S4 and Rogers Note II) - see screenshot attached.
2. How can I have more space of preview of conversation? Is there any ROM that actually reduces the vertical space needed to type in the message (to 1 line)? The light grey border and 2 line of typing area is just waste of space (iPhone has this right!)
See attachment.
oooooooooooo

so this is what I found:
Bluetooth tethering is disabled with 4.1.2. Even though I have tethering enabled from my provider :S ... I guess I should give them a call and tell them to enable bt tethering as well? I just went with another ROM. So much more efficient.
That border is part of the app - can't replace it. Nothing out there really targets that - plus only A.I Keyboard allows you to resize keyb even in landscape mode - so thats like something android developers (google) will have to fix naively.

[Q] New Google material design keyboard and Android 5.0 Lollipop

Hello folks!
Today it's been three days since I updated my Nexus 5 to Lollipop. It's supercool except keyboard. I don't know whether this is a BUG or a FEATURE
This issue was confirmed by 2 more users using Android 5.0 and New Google keyboard. But users who are using new Google keyboard on KK (4.4.4) haven't experiencing such problem.
So here's my letter to Google describing the issue and a video I recorded to show what I'm actually talking about.
Hi guys!
As a iOS-to-Android switcher I would like to ask you guys a question about your new Google keyboard.
I own a Nexus 5 device with Android 5.0 installed on it.
I do use swype typing a lot. I mean really a lot)
When I type a text using Google keyboard I use a lot of “custom" words, because your Russian dictionary is very poor and lack of a lot of common words I must say. So I have to add them manually. It is a pain in the ass when it comes to adding a new word to a user's dictionary while typing a text. On KitKat with old keyboard it took 2 taps to add a new word.
Old keyboard (KitKat experience)
Steps were:
- type a word
- tap in the middle section of suggestion strip where my new word did appear
- confirm adding to the dictionary (this step is useless, really think getting rid of it please)
New keyboard (Lollipop experience)
Steps are
- type a word
- space (need to do to get word appear in the middle section of suggestion strip)
- backspace (need to do to get word appear in the middle section of suggestion strip)
- tap in the middle section of suggestions where my new word finally did appear
- confirm adding to the dictionary (this step is still useless, really think getting rid of it please)
iOS do it like ONE tap guys. Just one tap and boom! your word is on dictionary. No need to confirm, to space, to backspace or do something else. Just that simple.
Here is the video demonstrating what I’m talking about:
I can't post videos until I have 10+ posts... (Anyone with 10+ post can PM me and I'll send you a link to the video to post it here for better understanding. Thanks.)
Hope you guys'll read this letter and do your best to stick a lot of people like me with Android. I really like Android and I don’t want to switch back to iOS. But such things are driving me nuts and make me think of switching back.
Regards,
Denis.

Are you guys experiencing this problem using English layout or it is only non-English layouts issue?

Denis.

New Google handwriting app - replace Sam's keyboard

Hi, am giving everyone a head's up on Google's new Handwriting Input app. Perfect for use with our S Pen.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.handwriting.ime&hl=en
For me, I use Google's KB (not Samsung's) and switch back & forth between normal and handwriting KB. You switch between input methods from within each app - no need to use Settings to switch. So it's practical as well, though not as seamless as Sammy's keyboard.
But I find Google's swipe feature much better than Sam's so the inclusion of the handwriting app is purely excellent. Hope it works for you too.

Wouldn't install on my note 4! Play Store says "incompatible with all of your devices".. did you guys install from the Play Store? or sideloaded?
Download from here and enjoy
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...e-handwriting-input-1-0-android-apk-download/
no hebrew support . But Samsung KB do support
I installed it from Play store but I do not like it:
1. No button to switch to a normal keyboard. They shoud have integrated it with their normal keyboard;
2. After every word I have to wait to recognize it because if write two words with space the keyboard think it is one word;
3. There is no option to scroll thru all the text and correct it.

Regarding point 3, tap and hold the globe to the left of space bar to stitch input methods
I've found it to be better at picking up my handwriting in the 2 days I've used it than the Sammy one is after 6 months of use, so it's a no brainer, I'm keeping the google one

Question search for apps using spen

hello, i am looking for an application using the spen for my work. to be able for example to have the choice to make a square or another shape with straight lines, from point A to point B and then continue to draw inside or outside with the spen. A style of technical drawing applications that mixes linear and freehand pencil aspects.
Did you try Samsung notes?

Yes Samsung note only has the ability to create freehand lines, not straight lines and right angles.

when you make your shape/line, hold the pen on the screen for a second, it will convert it to a shape/line
