Hello!
I think it's the easiest way to get root access. I was able to root my p760 at V20O. The app do almost everything for you or explains what you have to do but if you want, follow the steps below.
1. Download and install the drivers
Windows http://tool.xcdn.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425
2. Download and install the app http://www.firedrive.com/file/C31D92BBC45B3051 (it's official link).
3. In developer section select "Debugging Mode" as ON, and "Install from Unknown Sources" as ON in Phone Settings.
4. Run Kingo.

}
5. Connect your phone to computer in charging mode. Press ROOT button.
6. The device should restart itself with SuperSu installed.
7. You will be asked to give access to ADB shell, do it.
8. That is all! Your phone is rooted.
Of course the app has ability to unroot.
Enjoy!

So, if somehow the clock is only showing "boot" word and you want 24 hours instead of 12h, here is a easy fix
1. download the FD628_Demo.zip from attachments (a shout-out to Kam_58 from 4pda for the modded file)
2. unzip it and copy to usb/sd card
3. install Root Explorer if you don't have it
4. go to Preferences and choose "Legacy long click menu" and go back
5. go to system\bin folder long click the FD628_Demo file and choose Delete, it will popup a Warning, press Yes then again confirm the delete
5. now copy the new FD628_Demo file from usb/sd card to system\bin folder
6. long click the FD628_Demo file and choose Permissions, and set it to 0755 and press OK

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
7. long press again on FD628_Demo file and choose Change SE context then choose Enter context manually and write
Code:
u:object_r:FD628_Demo_exec:s0
8. Press OK and exit Root Browser, now reboot and enjoy
i tested this on my T95Z Plus and it's working
sadly it did not work in poison rom, in my original rom there is no FD628_Demo file so im ? lost
you tried on a t95z plus or a s912 device?

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for bad english.
I succesfully updated Sony Tablet P (SGPT211TR/S) Honeycomb (3.2) to ICS.
Basically,
1) Root Your Tablet.
I used Vroot old version (https://yadi.sk/d/qL0_DPxrqzUcB).
First install this app. Secondly disconnect internet because vroot will can update.
And connect tablet . Click root Button. Chechk root status.
2) You need change Region.
Download S.onyTablet.S v6.5 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515720). Extract and run S.onyTablet.S v6.5 .
Press "5 " Region changer. Press "1a" 1a. France [27550204_9]. Press "2" 2. SGPT212FR/S; 32GB; without 3G. Now tablet will be rebooted.
3) Update To ICS
Download this update (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mzbO4aTAY0vYcBsKdEypZTRnF5nZxiyD/view?usp=sharing) . Copy file to sd card. Enter recovery press power and volume up. Select Sd card update . And select this file. Wow!
Thanks for @Aviv @condi .
THANK YOU !!!
I've waited for this for awhile ! Still a neat device !
Thank you, but the rom file seems corrupted. The tablet can not verify its signature, and I can't unzip it on computer. Could you upload it again? Thanks!
