Now that Sprint has officially announced the Galaxy Note 3 launch on October 4, let us discuss! It's kind of strange they haven't set up pre-orders yet. This leads me to believe they probably won't. With a little over a week left until the launch, it appears that those who order online won't be able to get it until October 7th/8th. Also heard rumors that Sprint won't have the pink option or 64GB version available. It sucks but oh well. At least 32GB is the base model this year!

I bought my SGII Epic 4G Touch through them back in 2011. I bought it for the same price as directly from Sprint while convincing them to give me a discount equal to the activation fee (~$36) - essentially to "waive" it. I also accumulated some best buy reward zone points
Best Buy is a fine option when purchasing on contract if you can find a deal. I'd probably look elsewhere for off-contract and full-retail purchases, though.

I have been doing a time analysis of how (email, calendar, social media, video's & gaming, music) and where (location) I use my phone the most etc..
I have come to the conclusion that the places where I happen to use my phone the most and during its most intense use of bandwidth also happens to be the places in which I have access to great wifi signal. I know this isn't how most folks use their phones but its really how I use my phone and when I don't usually have a great signal. I just pop out my mifi and I am having a great signal once again. Is it irritating that Sprint dropped the triband? Yup and Yup. Is it a deal breaker for me to go to a slower and smaller phone? Nope and Nope..
The things that I am more interested in hearing about is
What Dac are they using for the audio processor?
Can I use usb 3 as a digital for my audio amp?
What will the transfer speed be on my USB3 HD which is running a 500gb SSD
Battery life
Has anyone been able to use a 128GB sd card in the unit, and have it recognize all 128GB?
What screen protector works best in direct sunlight.
I wonder how the charging port lines up compared to the Note II. Hoping I can still use my Note II car cradle and charger

The Note 3 for Sprint will be a world phone. Love it!
So after 3 years and 4 months since I've owned Sprint 4g phones, a new tower in the area went live with LTE. Here's to hoping it doesn't take another 3 years for the tower near my home to be upgraded. I'm ready for my Note III....

God I hope the gallery app isn't a laggy piece of crap again.. Even after disabling Facebook sync and all other sync options it was supper slow and laggy viewing photos in the app.

just so you know. I havn't had a problem with best buy increasing price for products but if that is the case, they price match with the carriers. they also give you the lower price for pre-orders. for example if you order an item and its fairly certain it will retail for say $50 and then release rolls up and it is $60 they will sell it to you for the $50. you may just have to mention it to the employee checking you out but the managers know whats up.

I have had to mention the PM once and the employee just had to get the manager to sign off on it which he had absolutely no prob doing. took maybe 2 min after I had mentioned it. then the lady behind me did the same thing because she was there for the same product for her son I would assume. (high end gaming headset)

I contacted the owner "Corey" from Trim Leather.
And he says he will have a line of cases out within 2 weeks for the Galaxy Note 3.
I know someone who has an Iphone case and the work is pretty awesome.

So, I was looking for cases, etc, and went to walmart online site and did a search for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cases and found a bunch of stuff. yes, their tag ging sucks and I got a bunch of results that included S3 and iphone (??).
However, amongst all the irrelevant results there were a lot of cases and charging cables (does anyone know of anywhere to get some of those proprietary cables cheap, by the way?) on the walmart site. Almost all of them have free shipping.
Oh, and they're by some no name brand, "Insten".
Are these any good accessories and has anyone bought them?
Just any advice would be most appreciated.

To be fair I can understand why Walmart acts like the Note 3 doesn't exist. It's because their customers aren't the type that would buy such an device like this. I mean watch their TV ads. Their typical advertised smart phone is low to mid end ones. So why bother trying to carry accessories for a product that their typical customers have no interest in.

Heck just glance at People Of Walmart sometime. You really want those people carrying around our beloved Note 3? Be honest now.

I understand what you're saying but they carry other high end smartphone accessories for phones such the 5s...The moto. X..LG g2..The htc one ..and when the note 2 was still dominant I got plenty of cases from the store itself ...it's really not a clear reason why they don't support the note 3 in stores

Yeah but the difference is that Walmart carries the iCrap 5S in store. I've never seen the Note 3 itself at my local Walmart stores let alone the Note 2 for that matter.
Yea I've never seen the note 3 in there but I've definitely seen the note 2 for sale in store and other high end devices and accessories for them ...weird .I guess it depends on the location

The iPhone for good, bad, or otherwise, is where it is because of marketing. The device isn't any better, it's actually, in a lot of ways worse, but how many people who can't even turn on their computers buy it? They do because they don't want to know what is happening under the hood. Yes, the device and all accessories are more expensive, but 99.9% of the people buying it are clueless.
There are no walmarts in NYC, so I wasn't sure if they carried any N3 or accessories for it. Now, you guys have answered my question, thanks.

Ikr, little to no news since announced.
I check every few hours for a confirmed release date, looks like samsung nailed it with this one, willing to retire the Gear 1 for it.

Yes, If Samsung or carriers allow non- contract options. If U.S carriers treat the gear S with a monthly contract then No. I'm hopping Samsung will allow simple bluetooth connection for those who don't want to pay extra monthly payments to their cell carrier.

I went yesterday, drove two hours to the Raleigh location, def big but very premium and nice looking, no doubt when wearing it that it is a smartwatch. Unfortunately the AT&T people knew nothing, I mean nothing lol I think they were surprised it was even sitting there ... fortunately I knew what I was looking at. Problem was it wasn't turned on, and wouldn't turn on, not sure if that's on purpose or this at&t just sucked, but I played with it and the note 4 both very nice devices!
Want really stoked about the note 4 until after I played around with it yesterday, and have been looking forward to the watch since unveil! Refreshing Google looking for a release date, pricing and how they plan to do the sim option.
Still has not appeared at the nearest AT&T store.

I'll start off by saying that I'm very excited to owning my first Galaxy Note. Reason for changing to the Note is the awesome design, bigger screen & battery life, which was terrible on the S6. No. Only deals I've seen available to AUS have the 256GB Micro SD card. I was personally hoping for a Gear VR deal

I was in two minds about colour. My Note 5 I got in Silver, for something diffferent. I like i, but i dont like how prominest marks are, i have a clear film cover on the back and any scratches/marks show up a lot. This time i have opted for the Black on the Note 7

I initially ordered one from buymobile then read some reviews on them and went into panic mode and cancelled the order. It was $200 cheaper than Samsung and Hardley Normal but no MicroSD deal so I cancelled it pretty much straight away. I want warranty with this phone and I think with the outright buy price it's worth having warranty although I never needed it with my international Note 4 I got through yatango. Never needed it on any handsets, touch wood.
I then went to the Samsung site and black onyx was sold out so I ordered one from Harvey Norman. 8 or 9 days left but not counting. Much. lol
Have ordered a UAG cover in black for the 7. I've had them on my last two Samsungs and they are brilliant cases, a little bulky but saved me a few times with a few drops, pretty good asset if you ask me.''Really interested in what model of handset we will get, starting to think it's the end of ROMs for me but you never know and that's why I'm still here.
I have to admit that I was extremely disappointed that Samsung Australia opted not to bring the Coral Blue color and for me this was a deal breaker, after waiting so long to replace my Note Edge and eagerly reading every single leak from eveleaks and onleaks and looking at the beautiful blue color that was rendered by eveleaks and was voted as the most popular color in a poll that was done by Ausdroid and they decide not to bring it....for once you could choose a different color than the usual boring silver/black/atrocious gold and they opted not to bring it grrrrrr!!!! damn you Samsung Australia!!!! Wow, Black sold out on the AUS Samsung site? Glad i got in early there.
Same as you, on my internations Note 5 that i got online, they did have a warranty, but never had to use it. I looked at buying the note 7 from the same international supplier, but it was only $200 cheaper and i though to myself if anything does go wrong, i can go straight back to Samsung without any huge issues.

i wanted the 12GB/1TB version but Rogers are not doing it, all other Canadian Carriers have it except Rogers, so i went with the 8GB/512GB ceramic black.

I just ordered with pdaplaza from québec a s10 plus SM-G975F dual sim (1400$ with tx). they assured me that it has the exymos processor (because I want to root it because since Nexus 4, I can't live without Viper4android). it will run with Fizz, the new cell provider (as my s8+ since a few weeks).
As everybody I'm just waiting for it now to be delivered in Montréal (expected in the next few weeks).

They always say that it will ship on release day. It usually ships between midnight and 2am and I've always received my phones on the first day.

Yes. Locked bootloader SD 855. I personally prefer the better processor over root. But I know a lot of people can't live without it.

I wanted the Ceramic White which was with 512. Was the lowest I can select for 1299.99.
Luck for me on the 1st launch, trading my note8 and getting a credit of 550. That's why I chose the deal. 699 plus tax at samsung website, tmobile was lower,
Yesterday noticed samsung dropped all the prices, now the Note 8 is 225.
Lucky for me.

Whoa! The only reason I didn't go with that one is because I'll probably sell it to get the Note 10 and Samsungs don't hold their value like iPhones do. I'd lose way too much money on the resale. Enjoy it!

Any advice on what deal slash plan to hit up. I've always stayed with the big three but with all these other sub carriers, I can`t figure out what to do if I were to get in on this. Im in Alberta, currently with Bell and my S8 term is about to end. She`s in mint condition and im trying to find the max trade in plus a plan with at least 5 gigs of data and like 100 bucks per month or less.
Traded in an old iPhone my girlfriend had lying around and picked up the 128 model from Samsung directly, was happy they had Prism Blue available, it's a nice change from constantly having a black phone. Samsung says it ships on March 5th, so fingers cross it comes in a bit early - do they ship via Canada Post?

Yes pretty much though, i did preorder just for the helluva it. If i dont like it ill return..it wont hurt me to keep using my Note 9 one bit ?
