[Q] Strange problem with audio jack

Hi all,
I am facing a weird problem with the audio jack in my galaxy s3. Strangely i can only hear sound from one ear.. i tried several headphones and cables the only way to get sound on both side is to keep playing with the cable and trying to find a ''sweet spot'' or to push the jack only halfway.
i don't know if this is a common problem but i made the (stupid) mistake of buying i9300 in canada so i don't think there is any way to get samsung to fix it.
I would like to know if anyone faced the same problem and how to fix it ?
thank you
Hi.
Same problem for me. I've bring back my phone where I bought and they have changed it.
And the new phone no longer has the problem !
the thing is that the i9300 was never officially released in north america... i guess i'll have to buy bluetooth headphones

[Q&T] Audio Jack

Hi everyone.
I´ve just bought an used atrix 4g.
The problem is that when I plug the earphones, those are recognized but I hear some weird sounds. It seems to be a codecs problem, but I really don´t know.
I searched a lot for help, and I cleaned the jack, but the problem still continues.
Thank you.

no. it's your headset jack. try to lift it out a little and it should be fine, or replace your headset.

[Q] Headphone jack issue :(

Hi all
I have had a search but cannot find anything.
I have a Xperia U, that thinks the headphones are plugged in all the time. I have removed the headphone jack from the board so have ruled out the pin being stuck in the connector.
Its running Build number 6.1.1.B.1.54 ICS 4.0.4
Any ideas, its driving me mental as I cant use the phone properly! Many thanks in advance.
bumpity

That is not software issue, that is a hardware issue.
How did you break it?
You can try cleaning out the jack port with a tooth pick if there is any lint stuck in there.
