Longest week ever waiting for this watch lol. But anyone heard anything on when we can buy the different watch band options? I plan to buy the slim version of the black strap but do kind of life the look of the wide version too. I looked on samsung.com and it doesn't even have a page for the watch anymore. Anyone heard anything?

No haven't heard anything yet but they have

http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/7/6116773/samsung-galaxy-note-4-and-gear-s-swarovski-editions
Or you can wait for the orginal watch straps at some point will sell alone
I'm wondering if you will be able to select the different band type at launch.
On the website it shows they have 2 different types.
They have a "strap" model and "bangle" model.
Agreed re: longest week EVA!
I spotted this blue band on YouTube and it looks HOT with the blue watch face. It's a must have. Just need to figure out who sells it.

are the wide straps the "bangle" ones? those are not as long as the narrow strap (men vs women?) but i like the looks of the wider band. most of the first look pics seemed to be with the wider band.
i need a band that is a 1/4 inch longer to fit how i like it. that or i am going to have to lose weight

Any chance for metal band? Have anyone seen anything?

I haven't seen a Tab in the flesh yet but I'm interested to know your views on the Tab colours, specifically the black and white models. Do either of them have drawbacks with regards to being easily marked, showing fingers prints, much or other?
Theaters no black model
Only colors are metallic grey and white
I personal got the white one and it looks fine

Maybe the black is just for the Euro versions?
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-galaxy-p7500-wifi-tablet-pc-32gb-black-10983362-pdt.html
White one has a clean surface on the back, the black (grey, dark, whatever) is structured. I prefer the structured back. It provides a little more grip and in my opinion it has a little higher quality feel to it than the white backcover. Fingerprints show much less on the grey model as it has no glossy finish.
But like it was said in the other "black or white" thread: If you spend much time looking at the color of your Galaxy Tab, you are using it wrong.
Oooops ... there another thread ....
<slaps forehead>
Found the other thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1163859&highlight=black+OR+white
sneaks off with head down ...
Just bought my Galaxy Tab 10.1 from pc world in UK this morning & can confirm that it definately has a BLACK back.
Even better it is in a black rubberized soft touch material so holding it is a real pleasure. While I was there they had a white version on display which I was playing with & it felt a bit too plasticky & very slippery.
Still debating about getting the Note 2 but i figured I didn't see a thread for this so I would make one. What color phone did you get? From reading most have gone with the Titanium Gray but I am seriously considering the Marble White, just wondering what everyone got and why.
I picked up grey. I prefer the look of brushed metal over white, plus it hides scratches well. I have my alterior motives...

What to wear long sleeves in the summer ? The white version is going for more on ebay... I'm considering buying the phone outright since I don't want to lose my unlimited 4g.

It's funny how two phones of the same value and condition can be auctioned at higher prices...because it is white.
Beyond me.
Picked up the white.. I like the flip covers and picked up a Light Blue, White and Grey ones.. So really the color changes easily at least the back and I prefer the white front with the covers
I went with Grey. Wife went with white. I'm happy with my choice, and so is she. White hides prints better, and Grey looks smaller and less shocking when up to the ear. Wish I could have both and swap out sim card every other day.

I thought the white looked a little cheesy, but that's me. The Gray seemed to look a little classier.
But I came from using the DNA for 2 weeks and that phone was VERY sexy.
I got the gray because the led notification light showed up more clearly on it.

I got white mainly because i live in texas and I have my phone in a car dock up on the front dash all the time. Ive had problems with my black moto droid2 overheating from the sun so I figure the white should help a little on not overheating

really I had the DNA for about a week and even though black and red are me fav colors I kinda thought the design on the DNA was a mess.
Even though i had a white s3 i went with the grey. I liked the white but the outline of the screen seemed to defined. I like when the screen is off on the grey one how it kinda blends in with the rest of the phone.
I haven't gotten mine yet. But, when I do, I will get the gray one. I prefer my electronics in darker colors. I'd have been really happy if they'd put out a cover like the original Note. But, gray will suffice.
I have the grey one.

Titanium FTW :good:
Apple has tainted white phones and tablets for me. Also, white gets dirty much more easily.
Ok, I picked up a gray one, not sure how long I will have it, lol, but for now I do. Evaluating if I want to keep it or Nexus, will be deciding over the next 2 weeks or so.
Grey all the way. A: i associate white with apple products. Don't know why. And 2: I think I read about the white getting dirty and yellowing over time.
Sent from my apple assassin.
I picked up the Grey, because I never really liked the idea of white phones. Also white phones tend to get dirty and turn a little tan after awhile.....

You have it all wrong, white likes to get dirty My ipod is black...Apple taints everything they touch. Back when I purchased the ipod it was the music player with the most accessories. Everything else apple has made has used inferior hardware (to the competition at the time) and has charged way too much for it. The crazy part is people are still falling for the same old trick.
White Baby. Then picked up neon green Amzer shell holster case. Goes great with the White.

Is Asus Zenwatch 2 already in the market?
It looks similar with Zenwatch 1
Zenwatch price drop by so much that I went to buy it. I think I can live with the daily charging and lack of a crown button at the side. Who else is with me?

Me, especially with the latest firmware upgrade (LCA43). :good:
512 RAM is not enough!!!
Am I missing something from the next gen of Android Wear watch??? Same Processor, same RAM, same Resolution, same Storage.
For Asus, we are getting a crown button, better battery according to them, but the sandwich design is gone which I simply love.
For Moto, they switched to Snapdragon 400, lol. The flat tire is still there.
For the rest, I don't know. It seems the whole world is switching to round watch except Asus (Oh yeah!, I love Rectangular watch)

ZenWatch 2 are also bringing WiFi connectivity.
Good price, but otherwise seems a bit meh to me. I'll be sticking with my old one and see what the new Moto looks like.

The ZW1 uses two fingers on the sides of the face to measure heart rate. I don't know how the ZW2 will measure it.

Actually it's not. They removed the heart rate sensor.
On topic: The watch is available for order on the Google Store. You can preorder three versions of the watch at Bestbuy.com. It looks like it will only be available online. I preordered mine and it should arrive on Friday
I got mine. Gunmetal w/ navy leather strap from Google store. I replaced the band with a black metal one anyway.
I like it a lot, think it looks better in person. Seems pretty responsive and only drained about 15% battery after 4 hours.

Where did you get a metal band at? I am considering buying one, don't think I'll like the navy band.
Thanks

Amazon, any 22mm band will work but you'll need the spring bars and spring bar tool (or you can just take it to a jeweler)
I got this one,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SC2WCHW/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Picked one of these up at my local Best Buy store last night. Will play around with it for a while and see if I like. Price was right!
Just picked one up at Best Buy and they matched a cheaper price from Amazon.

I currently have the Huawei watch. Yes it is beautiful and really a nice watch. And of course no flat tire. But one thing that bothers me is its almost too good looking. Its like you would wear it with a suit and not casual wear. The Moto 360 2 seems much more casual looking. I paid $400 for the Huawei I can get the Moto 3360 2 with the cognac leather for $300. Am I nuts here should I just keep the Huawei or go for the moto? The other thing is the silver on the hauawei is so shinny it just glares silver. Where it looks like the Moto silver is much more toned down.
That's one of the reasons why I skipped the Huawei Watch. I don't like that shiny look of the lugs. As much as I want to keep an OLED display (former LG G Watch R user) as much I want an ambient light sensor back. The QI charging cradle is also a lot more convenient than this pogo pin crap. I also like that the Moto 360 has no raised bezel around the screen. It's just much more convenient for swiping
Oh yeah that was the other thing. The charging thing for the Huawei really sucks. I did have a Moto 360 gen 1 and I really liked how the wireless charging cradle also acted as a clock at night. Plus I have a charging pad at work so I could always charge at work if need be. I know the screen on the Huawei is much better then the 360 2nd gen, and I really hate that flat tire, but the over all package on the Moto 360 I like better.
And don't forget the Red Tint issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-watch/general/huawei-screen-red-tint-issue-t3214209
I tried 2 from Amazon (black with black link band to avoid the shiny-ness problem) and both had the Red Tint issue.
Been a week with my Moto 360 2nd and haven't looked back!
Idk if 42mm watches didn't look ridiculously small on my wrist I would've went with the Huawei. It's a little dressy but I would be comfortable wearing it to the gym or on a run with a silicone band. It's just too tiny.
Hey Guys,
So i have fairly wide wrists and the standard 9inch band doesnt work for me. honestly to be comfortable id need something like 10,11 or 12 inch long. I found this
http://www.thewatchprince.com/ballistic-nylon-5-pvd-ring-22mm-black#tab-6
But I dont think that will work with the moto 360 gen 2 (will it?)
Any suggestions would be awesome!
The one you linked should work as long as your watch has 22mm lugs. (the 42mm and 46mm watches are different I think).
You might have to buy some spring bars that fit the watch as well:
http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Ste...d=1457963010&sr=8-6&keywords=watch+strap+pins
I like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Tylt-Moto-Sil...&qid=1457962792&sr=8-1&keywords=moto+360+tylt
A lot of people complain about it being too big, and I have it almost as tight as it will go, so I would think it would work great for someone with large wrists.
I'm no expert on what will/won't fit but a band that runs underneath the watch would block the heart rate monitor.
Yes the size problem is biggest problem rather than other problem.
You could try a NATO strap. I am currently using one.
It looks good and feels amazing on the wrist.
This is a link to the one I have, but this site offers many more.
